Of course around 90% of future killers tend to torture animals as well (BIG SIGN ON THAT ONE FOLKS, if little Jimmy is cutting heads off rabbits and cat's it may not just be youthfull pranks) and i doubt young 'cot is of that school.

Like, how so? What sort of things am I explaining? Because I've tried to discuss things with them, and here's the dynamic of the conversation:

1. I try to calmly articulate what's on my mind.
2. My dad starts mocking me, and the situation, effectively attempting to ruin my calmness and desire to progress.
3. Any sign of frustration or anger on my part begins my dad on a tremendous rant about how he has the power, how disrespectful I am, etc.
4. Hour-Long Monologue. My few sentences allowed, interupted to be told how I'm wrong at the end of almost every thought I manage to finish.
5. By then, it's either late, we get an important call, etc. Either way, It's been well over an hour, the original point was totally lost, I'm angry/upset, my dad's FURIOUS, my mom will just back him unless he actually hit me or went too far {which isn't much... there's only one or two things that make my mom think he's gone too far}.


^And that started as a civil, mature conversation, an attempt on my part to have a progressive conversation.

If this is still continuing in a year or two Apricot, I'd say cut your losses and get out of the home...whilst you've still got some sanity...

It won't be easy, that I know, but for your own peace of mind you've got to at least seriously contemplate it...

It's 18... I'll be graduating at 17, turning 18 in July... which means I'll be here until college.

If this is still continuing in a year or two Apricot, I'd say cut your losses and get out of the home...whilst you've still got some sanity...

It won't be easy, that I know, but for your own peace of mind you've got to at least seriously contemplate it...

I have seriously contemplated it.. however, I haven't the means to actually support myself at this point.. and any friends I have would likely send me back home or try to work things out.. there's nowhere I can stay for more then a day or two.

I fried some fish once...while they were still in the tank. Don't ask how.

Does that classify as animal torture?

I had a friend and when he was a kid he would imitate his mothers actions, he saw her preparing fish for dinner and decided to try to scale the family gold fish, he removed a few scales but they caught him in time and put the fish back in the bowl and it lived... another time he saw his mom ironing the dress shirts, so when she turned her back he grabbed the can of spray starch and sprayed the family bird... one way to keep a bird quiet I guess   :D

On his side, right next to the shoulder.. he didn't like that. Then, once I let go, I said "See, it's not any better when you do that me.".

I'm thinking of inviting Robin over my house when my parents aren't around in August.They're going on vacation to Las Vegas for a week.Maybe on a Sunday,she can come over but I'm not sure yet.I just never found a right time to let them come over my house.The problem is,I still live with my Mother and Father,I'm 31 years old and the only times are when they go on vacation or when they go out to eat or whatever with friends or family for a few hours.I don't know how this will work out. :-\\

What I meant was that this moment is between her and I only.I will tell her not to go blab it to her parents and I will do the same.But if we both slip,then both of us will get into trouble by both of our parents.I kind of feel that living with my parents I rarely get enough freedom in my life and that I can't have women over the house unless they go out for the night or go on vacation.That's when I get my freedom.I sometimes think about wanting my own apartment but I doubt if that'll ever happen. :(

my mom likes to sleep in longer too....my dad has always been an "early bird".
