Just stumbled across this (it's been out a while) - Google Earth.
It's a program that shows aerial pictures of... the earth. (But really only for the US, UK and other parts) :D

I found something like that via this place called siklinks. as cool as it was it was kinda creepy knowing that they have sattelites snapping pics of our neighboorhoods.

You just zoom in on various parts of the world. Thats it. It shows various sattelite images taken over the last 2 years or so, with more detail images in many major cities over the world.
Heres a rather detailed view of the San Francisco bridge and a random suburb in another city: :D

Google Earth still has the old Wembley still standing, it was demolished a few years ago.
