I know it's a little early...but I already have Vaughn's Halloween costume. I was out thrift-shopping and I stumbled across a full costume of Clifford the Big Red Dog...it is SO cute! I tried it on him and he hated every minute of me trying it on....but I think he will wear it on Halloween. What ideas do you guys have for your children or yourselves?

I make my kids costumes, last year the youngest one was dora and my son was spiderman.

The oldest one says she is to old for that anymore.

this year they want me to make dee dee and moe doodle from the doodlebops.

Even though I stopped trick or treating 10 or 11 years ago, I'll never get tired of dressing up!

The year before last I was Old Biff (from BTTF 2 - it was pretty fun getting to act like a grumpy ex-bully old man!), and last year I put together a makeshift Ghostbusters costume.

I might be running out of 80's characters now. ;D

My oldest daughter wants to be Cinderella.  I guess I'll have the younger one dress up as Belle since she already had the dress.

Awww...that's too bad.  My youngest daughter did that last year.  Even this year she was refusing to try on her costume, right up until the week before Halloween. 

I'm sure he'll be more than happy to put it on next year. :)

I'd feel utterly ridiculous at the age of 24 to be walking around dressed in a costume.  I know a lot of people my age that go to costume parties and I tell them to have fun and I know they will......I just can't see myself dressed up anymore.  To me, that ship sailed when I hit puberty.

I usually go to Fright Nite in Pittsburgh with my friend Jessi. She won't be around, so I have to gather other people to go this year. Only problem is all my other friends scare REALLY easily, and I don't know if they'd want to go, or not.

My kids are in the age bracket where they won't dress up at all....unless they just buy one of those gory plastic monster masks and wear black clothes.  That's about as creative as it gets.

Did I mention the idea I had for us and my dog?  We dress up in dog noses and ears, then the three of us get cigars and cards, drape a piece of velvet in the corner, sit around a table and play poker.

Megan has changed her mind about fifty times already.  I got a Lillian Vernon catalog the other day and I think she has picked out 4 or 5 different costumes.  Right now she's bugging me to look at witch costumes on the computer.  Yesterday she wanted to be the Corpse Bride, today she wants to be a witch, who knows what she'll want to be tomorrow.  ;D

She better pick one she really likes 'cause after I buy it, that's it, she can't change her mind. 

Jason is going to be the same thing he was last year. The costume still fits him and everything, and it's not like he cares.

IF we're moved into the city by then, we'll probably come back to Indiana to do our trick or treating and hang with Ms. Banasy (the older members will remember her).
