Subject: Does anyone know this song?

Not to long ago (and maybe it's still playing) there was a commercial for Cingular ("raising the bar") and it was playing a song where a guy was singing:
"I pulled into Nazareth
I was feeling 'bout half past dead
I just need some place
Where I can lay my head"
Now I know the song "The Weight" by Aretha Franklin starts out with the same lyrics. Is this the same song by a different artist? If anyone knows the one from the commercial please let me know the name and who sings it.

Great song! That's another one of those songs that, even though it came out in the late 60's, it reminds me of the 80's (since I grew up listening to alot of 60s-70s music too).
I love the "story" in it too - if MTV had existed then, I'd love to have seen a video for it.

Oh yeah!!!! Aretha to me is the beginning and end of singers. I love every note she sings

If you like The Band watch out for the 70s film/documentry by Martin Scorsese called The Last Waltz, it featured The Band on tour.
