During the first years of the olympics, Greek women were not allowed to participate in the games OR attend them. A mother wanted to watch her son compete and after he won she started celebrating and oops...something fell out proving she wasn't a man. So from that moment on, all trainers and coaches had to be buck naked at the games!
Please don't tell me that I'm the only one who laughed my butt off when I read this. I suppose it wasn't that funny back then but imagining basketball games and such with naked coaches is just halarious.

I always wondered why the coaches and trainers had to be naked at the games. It's a good thing the athletes didn't have to be naked. Carrying that torch might have been quite a challenge ;D
