My favorite intro is in "Welcome To The Jungle" by Guns N' Roses.

My second favorite intro is in "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana.

"Cemetary Picnic (I'm pretty sure that's not the name, but now that I have "Cemetary Polka" stuck in my head, I can't think of it)" by Voltaire.

I believe it's "Graveyard Picnic", if I recall correctly.

More awesome intros:

"Lapdog" by Momus
"Professor Shaftenberg" by Momus (kinda reminds me of "You Can Call Me Al")
"Child Star" by The Unicorns
"I Don't Wanna Die" by The Unicorns
"Sea Ghost" by The Unicorns
"Pressure Zones" by Beck
"Truckdrivin' Neighbors Downstairs" by Beck (gotta love fightin' truckers)
"Archaeopteryx Claw" by Old Time Relijun
"Mystery Language" by Old Time Relijun
"Baby Dragon" by Old Time Relijun
"Season In Hell" by HerMajestyNY

I'm sure there's more, but from the top of my head. Most are from the 80's:

1999 - Prince (ominous voice saying he wants you to have some fun)
Old Time Rock & Roll - Bob Seger (two words: Risky Business) :D
Back in the USSR - The Beatles (name any other songs with an airplane intro!)
Heart of Rock & Roll - Huey Lewis (or one with a rising volume of a heartbeat)
You Give Love a Bad Name - Bon Jovi ("Shot through the heart" hooked me instantly)
Money for Nothing - Dire Straits ("I want my MTV" is classic!)
Dancing on the Ceiling - Lionel Richie (you can hear Lionel's spoken words if you listen close enough)
Sailing - Christopher Cross (sounds symphonic and almost sad)

That is the one.

Just now on the radio, in celebrating the birthdays of John and Sean Lennon. The radio station played Beautiful Boy which has waves washing on the shore and chimes for the intro

Oops, my bad. ;D

Well, I guess "Back in the USSR" could still lay claim to fame as the only airplane intro with the little guitar riff sound before the song starts. ;)

"Haiti" by Arcade Fire.. I love that two-chord progression and the ocean sounds.

"M.C. Escher" by Momus.. I just really like it for some reason.

"Birthday Boy" by Ween.. and the exit to this song is really cool too.. you can hear the pain in Gene's voice.

Yeah, those are some crazy ones.

You ever get to hear "Office Building"? That song's awesome.. it comes just before Telephone Call.

I figured out the tracklist to that album, Uterus & Fire, sort of tells a story.

Using a  1.Dagger
He Cut Off The  2. Archaeopteryx Claw
  3. Giant Boat
  4. Burning Head
  5. Khomuz
After setting fire to the  6. Office Building  (he actually specfically mentions burning down an office building in this song)
He gets his  7. Telephone Call
Then he's in  8. Jail
But gets freed by a huge  9. Earthquake

The last three tracks.. well, I don't know. But I especially like the 7,8, 9 thing.. it's really cool to listen to.
