At the time, I was working in a public library(and had been for about 15 years prior).  My hubby suggested bookmistress, because it's an old fashioned word for one who attends books.  I added the 4ever part because even though I don't work in a library anymore, I'll always be a librarian at heart, if that makes any sense.



When I am feeling down I go sit in the library.  It is nice and quiet and the librarians are so nice.  My sister, the nice one in the family, has been a librarian for about 20 years or so.  Libraries and cemeteries, that's me  :)

Feeling down/Feeling up. You can't know one without knowing the other. When I'm at work and it's a stressful day or I "feel like crap", gettin some of my favorite foods helps. I'm not talking healthy food, I'm talking a juicy Nations cheeseburger and fries. It helps.  I've learned not to wait for people to bring me up or depend on them for my well being because people dissapoint you. The best solution is usually for me to do something good for someone else and that takes my focus off myself. They feel better which in turn has a positive effect on me.  and Music always helps.

There is a lot to be said for listening to uplifting tunes. I could never understand why depressed people would listen to stuff about suicide and negativity . . . I suppose there is some logic to it somewhere but I can't find it.
