Penguins are indeed cool. I actually never knew alot of these Penguin names until joining this place. I had no idea who Badz Maru was ???
I know abut Pingu, Pengo and Opus. I still have my Pengo Atari 2600 cartridge ;D

i like penguins too. i was curious if there was a story behind it.
i assume there's a "march of the penguins" thread in the 2000s forum? i'd think that would be a one-of-a-kind event, along with the big berke brethed comeback.

Did you notice how he has been moved way inside the newspaper instead of the front page? It
happened the Sunday after he did a hilarious satire of bush and company.

actually, this in my latest "harpers" magazine in the section on latest scientific findings:
"high doses of vitamin E extend the lives of mice that have been geneteically engineered to age quickly, and engineers at Raytheon announced the development of a robotic space penguin that can hop across the surface of the moon."

Penguins are evil and out to take over the world. There was a thread about it on the old board, but they got to the board and the thread is gone. :o ;)
