this is the first attempt I feel like sharing.  Not happy with the colors yet, and will probably do more around the logo for the t-shirts..

yes, I apologize in advance.  anyways... I went with four colors to indicate the four decades, and used a retro-techno font that looks like it could be from the 70s or 80s, but yet still feels fresh.  Then I modified it a bit to give it more retro flair.

I like it with the 2 colors.

I like both of them.

The first one is nice because it stands out and makes you notice what it says.

The second one is nice because it's a little more calm and it blends better.

They are both good, but the second one looks best O0

Very cool, if Badfinger-fan is too many syllables, just call me Mike.  Whatever you decide is cool, it's your site, you do all the behind the scenes stuff that keeps it going. If you pick one or vote, I'm good with whatever. I'm easy. Either way, not everyone may be pleased. This a really cool, tightly knit community and probably don't mind. (as if I speak for everyone heheheh)

I'm not done with the design yet either.  It works ok for a site logo, but just the logo with nothing else would be a bit stark for a t-shirt.
