I can't believe I forgot about this one!  Now that I think about it, it may be my all-time favorite love song.  The singing and guitar work is just BEAUTIFUL.  Its one of those if you're sittin' listening to it with headphones you can get physical rushes its so good. ;)

Blue Sky by The Allman Brothers Band.  Anyone whos not familiar with this song check it out, it is truely beautiful.

Here are the lyrics(although the best thing about the song is like I said, just the way it sounds, the singing & guitar):

Walk along the river, sweet lullaby, it just keeps on flowing,
It dont worry bout where its going, no, no.
Dont fly, mister blue bird, Im just walking down the road,
Early morning sunshine tell me all I need to know

Chorus
Youre my blue sky, youre my sunny day.
Lord, you know it makes me high when you turn your love my way,
Turn your love my way, yeah.

Good old sunday morning, bells are ringing everywhere.
Goin to carolina, it wont be long and Ill be there

Chorus

Not much to the lyrics.. but man the strength here is the MUSIC.  It comes closer to capturing that "love" feeling than any other rock song I can think of for sure.

This one has always made me cry - such a pretty love song. Its from the movie Tootsie.

IT MIGHT BE YOU

Time, I've been passing time watching trains go by, all of my life,
Lying on the sand and watching seabirds fly,
Wishing there would be someone waiting home for me.

Something's telling me it might be you,
Its telling me it might be you.

Looking back as lovers go walking past, all of my life,
Wondering how they met and what makes it last,
If I found the place, would I recognise the face?

Something's telling me it might be you,
Its telling me it might be you.

So many quiet nights to bear, so many dreams to share,
There's someone else out there,
I think its gonna need some time,
All we need is time.

I've been saving love songs and lullabies,
There's so much more no one's ever heard before.

Something's telling me it might be you,
Its telling me it must be you,
I've a feeling it'll just be you, all of my life.

Maybe its you, maybe its you,
That I've been waiting for all of my life.

This one has always made me cry - such a pretty love song. Its from the movie Tootsie.

IT MIGHT BE YOU

Time, I've been passing time watching trains go by, all of my life,
Lying on the sand and watching seabirds fly,
Wishing there would be someone waiting home for me.

Something's telling me it might be you,
Its telling me it might be you.

Looking back as lovers go walking past, all of my life,
Wondering how they met and what makes it last,
If I found the place, would I recognise the face?

Something's telling me it might be you,
Its telling me it might be you.

So many quiet nights to bear, so many dreams to share,
There's someone else out there,
I think its gonna need some time,
All we need is time.

I've been saving love songs and lullabies,
There's so much more no one's ever heard before.

Something's telling me it might be you,
Its telling me it must be you,
I've a feeling it'll just be you, all of my life.

Maybe its you, maybe its you,
That I've been waiting for all of my life.

--- Stephen Bishop (1982)

That's mine and Rice Cube's song. He dedicated it to me right about the time we started dating.

All together now:

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
