The martial strains have summoned me
To hear your sorrows,
Still your pain.
I am the protector of Justice;
Equality--my sole friend.
My vision never blurred by cowardice,
My soul never chained.
Life without honor
Is life in vain.....

I am the Dog.

good birthday food yeah!! gimme Chinese, Mexican, or Italian, the 3 major food groups. I think we're going to an all you can eat chinese buffet which is actually pretty good.

I love those Chinese Buffet restaurants.  $10.99 for all you can eat.  Usually after I get filled up, I go back and fill my plate, then I ask for a doggie bag so I can take what i "didn't eat" home ;D

I'm surprised they let you take home also, but heck if they let you, you gotta go for it. I eat the seafood and meat stuff mainly, with a little fried rice and chow fun or chow mein. it's gonna be good.

I've often thought about going to a Buffet restaurant with a knap sack full of ziploc bags.  But that wouldn't be wrong, unless of course they catch me ;D

um...I had an EX-husband who actually used to bring left-over containers in a backback and do just that.....sorry if your comment made me throw up a bit in my mouth, as I hate thinking back to times with him. ::) ;)

LOL he ACTUALLY did that?  I've only ever thought about it.  I'd never do it cause it's too risky and I'd feel guilty about it ;D

yes....he totally did.  He was the biggest cheap ass I have known in my life. You know what else he did? One time he and I were going to the drive-in...and he didn't feel like paying for the both of us...so he MADE ME climb in the trunk and stay there until we got through the gate. Needless to say, those were only SOME of the reasons why he and I are not together any longer...thank God!

OMG what a cheapskate :o

I found this on a website:

The Rabbit and the Dog have the potential to create a very strong, lasting bond. They will find each other totally trustworthy and truly appreciate each other's persona. As lovers, they will enjoy a passionate, intensely intimate union. Their overall compatibility rating is 80%.

I was born under the tiger 1974 and a Viet Namese friend told me the dragon is the tiger of the sky...so both are very strong.  In Viet culture a son born in the Dragon's year becomes the one who handles finances for the family, or so he said.  Perhaps it was first son, rather than any son.  I looked up the characteristics of all the 12 symbols and there were all sorts of artists and sports people to give the reader an indication of who's b'day is when.

I love to eat Chinese food too... there's a chinese restuarant near the university which I've been to a few times; I had a friend who worked there a couple years back, but last time I chatted with her via the email, she said she wasn't working there anymore. :-\\
