Eh, I'm feeling okay--I've had better days, that's for sure. Fun day at work, though.

While it's not February over here yet, I had a sore throat earlier, which is almost completely gone. It would have been a tragedy if I had it now because tomorrow is my interview.

I have a birthday on Groundhog's Day (Feb 2nd), though I like to keep my age low profiled  :)

That is quite a sinister laugh, and shave that thing off! .  So In 1 hour it will be February. here on the west coast we slow things down. we don't rush. Plus there's only 28 days in the month so make it last.  I feel good and will end the night feeling kinda good.

Generally I just add 3-6 hours for US time...

I have been having some dizzy spells. I think I may have an inner ear infection which this is NOT the best time for it. I'm supposed to be getting on a plane on Monday. I hope it goes away by then.

Nevermind, I couldn't get a card, because I don't have credit to begin with.

How am I supposed to gain credit, if I can't get it in the first place..?

I'm disgusted with everything tonight.

There is a trick... if you can get someone who has a credit card to add you on their account, wait about a month and you will "inherit" their credit history from that card... then you can apply for your own, then have that person take your name off of theirs. :)

Are you taking any college courses?  The credit companies are pretty lenient on college students.  That's how I got my first card.

I didn't mention this earlier, but in addition to our computer being out of commission all day yesterday, our heater (or furnace, whatever you wanna call it) started acting strange the other night, so we had to turn off the unit again! :o >:( So later on today, a guy from the company that installed our heater will come take a look at it again.

DYHIW you get an appliance fixed and it craps out...oops, wrong thread.

My math teacher last year let us get online so long as we got our work done.

Well, other than the fact that I currently can't breathe through my nose, I feel great! I get to see Justin tomorrow...!!!!

Hope you enjoy that. I myself will be spending time with my lady friend tomorrow.

Now, for my day.. it was decent. Stressful, though.. had an pop TEST in Chem.. not a small thing.. a chapter exam. You were allowed notes and all, but... you know, I just like a little time to familiarize with the problems again, especially when some of them, we haven't done in over 2 weeks. I think I did fairly well, though.

was visible to all the women behind me in line. The wall paper is
a CD by the band Leftover Crack,in big bold letters it said

I'm pretty reclusive, but bond sometimes, partly to keep my sanity.  The Super Bowl isn't one of those bonding things.

I've never understood can enjoy watching people pass a ball and tackle each other for 3 hours.  Playing football is okay, but watching it is incredibly boring, unless there's a lot of money betted.

I used to work at a place in West Virginia where they ran a Super Bowl pool.

The pool cost $50.00 a square.  PER MONTH.  ::)

I sort of agree in that I'm not a huge Stones fan, but they performed well for a bunch of old guys. They were announced as the greatest rock and roll band ever, and all of us at my house had to jump up and dispute that claim

the thing is there's this deep respect for anything Stevie Wonder and Aretha do because they're legendary in the industry and with the fans, but I hate it when they bring in the new kids to join in with them. I'm not a joss stone fan, or cared for any of the other singers that really shouldn't be on the same stage as the other 2, but they try to appeal to a broader audience in that way. They should have just let Stevie and Aretha do their thing.

there's medication that works for some, but you gotta get a doctor or shrink to prescribe. Crippling is an accurarte descripton and whether you call it an attack or anything else it sounds like an episode that you can't control or tell when it's gonna happen or why, but once it does, all you can do is ride it out. I know many that suffer from this and most require medication to provide relief. Xanax seems to be the preferred choice, as it doesn't make drowsy, and you can function normally most everything you do and provides panic relief within about 10min.  Tom Cruise, if you're reading this, kiss my --- you POS !!!

and this is a trip, because sometimes I need it to calm me so I can sleep and it helps me. My job used to be very stressful, and that was a big reason why I had anxiety. I got a better job, and other lifestyle changes, I don't get them, and if I do, they are mild, not crippling like they used to be and I use my medication only as needed. Thats what works for me, plus a year of therapy  ;D  Dr. Feingold, she rocks! Andrew, there are some good books available and you should get one that seems relevant and read up on it. I did and it helps to know the enemy.

Feelin' rather tired. Yesterday I had to do a lot of running around. In addition to taking courses at CSUN toward my degree, I am also taking a couple of computer-related courses at a community college. I'm doing this because I'm gonna need to start workin' real soon, and I need the skills, so these computer-related courses are for training. Anyway, I had to run around yesterday because I was using two different buses to get there, and I had to go run and catch the second one before it pulled away. (That's because I had gotten off the first bus at the wrong stop by mistake, and had to run four long blocks to catch the second one.) Later I found out that I only needed to take one bus to and from the community college. So tomorrow I know exactly what I need to do.

Whether you tell them or not, is there anything they can do or say that would change you. They'd be dissapointed, perhaps angry that you dont love the lord like they want you to. A Christian isn't something that's born, it's something you may or may not become. They love their kid no matter what.  ;)

I went to the orthodontist today...the gap in my front two teeth is finally completely gone, and this woman said I was doing a great job of brushing my teeth.

That's good to hear. I remember when I had braces; I had to keep my teeth brushed well (and I still do). ;) Also, I was restricted from eating certain foods so that I wouldn't damage the braecs and slow down the process. My mom had 'em ten years ago (for only eight months) on her bottom teeth.

Baptists are Christians who believe that to be saved, you must be baptized.. once you're baptized, most Baptists believe you actually CANNOT leave the church. It's not possible to not be saved anymore, you're stuck with God for good.

At least that's what I've heard, probably bullsh-t propaganda from my friend's Nazarene church... The Nazarene's are f--ked.

Well...I got to see some Dodgers today. They visited L.A. Peirce College (where I am taking computer-related courses on Mondays and Wednesdays) this afternoon, signing autographs between 12:30 and 1:30 PM (Pacific time). Former manager Tommy Lasorda helped out with a raffle. I didn't win anything (which is okay), since I chose not to buy a ticket.

Later, Eric Gagne talked with some tv news reporters. Then security escorted him back to the big bus with the rest of the team.

It was rather warm in the Los Angeles area today. The weather was nothing like that on this date 17 years ago (Feb. 8, 1989...which for the record, was also a Wednesday, February 8th, just like today!)...the L.A. area on that day experienced snow...which doesn't happen very often. :o

So anyways, even though it was rather warm in the afternoon, I still stood outside, hoping to see the Dodgers, as I mentioned in reply #182. New Dodger players Nomar Garciaparra and Kenny Lofton were also scheduled to appear...I did happen to get a glimpse of them.

Today? Kind of. After my classes were done, I decided to head on over there...and there were a couple hundred people out there waiting to meet the guys and get autographs from them. I did see former manager Tommy Lasorda, who helped out with the raffle, as I'd said. After the raffle he announced, "There's only ONE team in Los Angeles...The DODGERS!" (everyone cheered) He continued: "The only Angels are those up in heaven!" After the event was over, I saw some security people escorting him back to the team's bus.

So I got to see some famous people in person today. (Well, they're famous in the world of sports, but still.) Still haven't actually met any.

Nine years ago on this date, I had gone to a Dr. Demento show at Caltech in Pasadena...and Weird Al was sitting across the aisle from me and my family. During intermission, a lot of people were lined up, waiting to meet him. (I saw him in concert two years later.)

Well, I want to do something with my life.. that helps other people. I want to be of some importance and I've been thinking about this a lot. I love Photography soo much and it will always be a hobby of mine, but .. I want more.

Someone presented this to me:

It's near my house. It's a home for troubled teens. I met a person on Xanga who does this, and reading what she writes about it--it's so rewarding. The benefits would be awesome, and It would be a full time job.

Reading her stuff, she adores those kids so much.. gives them makeovers, does their hair, talks about their problems with them... and just makes them feel good about themselves. *shrugs* I'm going to make my resume tonight. We'll see what happens, I suppose.

Well, I want to do something with my life.. that helps other people. I want to be of some importance and I've been thinking about this a lot. I love Photography soo much and it will always be a hobby of mine, but .. I want more.

Someone presented this to me:

http://www.adelphoivillage.org/

It's near my house. It's a home for troubled teens. I met a person on Xanga who does this, and reading what she writes about it--it's so rewarding. The benefits would be awesome, and It would be a full time job.

Reading her stuff, she adores those kids so much.. gives them makeovers, does their hair, talks about their problems with them... and just makes them feel good about themselves. *shrugs* I'm going to make my resume tonight. We'll see what happens, I suppose.
trying to find your path in life, your niche' isn't easy, but to help others is almost always a good thing and will give you a sense of purpose.  I actually had thought you'd be a good counselor or psychologist if you studied for that.  or the wife of a rock star

That sounds like it would be okay.. but could do you think you could make a job out of it? Gotta consider what's gonna put food on the table.. although I can't imagine photography is very lucrative either.

often if you find something new, you really want it to happen. Think hard and about what you REALLY like and want. If you love photography so much, do that. If you really believe you'd rather talk to teens, well you know.

Then again, you could take photos of troubled teens...

No, it won't. See, there's two things:

1. I go to a State School

This is bad. My father told me, in very clear words, that I have failed at life unless I go to a better school then him and make more then him. Therefore, I have to go to a higher school then him. He went to a state school, so that's failure.

2. I go to Ivy League

I still fail at life, because the second condition of my not-failing precedent is that I maintain higher grades then he got in college. I can get 3 Bs in my total college training. My careers will involve at least 8 years of schooling beyond High School. Also, if I DO pull this off, I still fail because I'm a terrible person.

So, I'm f--ked for life. I've failed, and I'm not even 18 yet.

Who gives a sheesh.

I and most of the people I know don't talk to our parents.

I couldn't give a sheesh what they think and they're perfectly happy with that arrangement.

I think you would feel a lot better if you really just quit caring what he thinks.

I know that chances are slim that I'll ever make as much money as my Father (I earnt more than my mother at the age of 12  ;D) He makes a lot of money because he's been very lucky in the business he's in. Do I care? No. Does this make me a failure? No.
If your Father thinks you such a failure then maybe he needs to consider the fact that he's obviously done a pretty sheeshty job at being a Father.

andrew...you are an intelligent kid.  No matter where you choose to go, you will do just fine. College is so different than high school...so much more free, and relaxed, and open...and allows you to be so much more independent.  You go where YOU want to go...heck on what your father says or thinks.  You can get a good education at a lot of state schools, ya know? And...if you have your eyes set higher than that....then GO FOR IT.  Don't let your dad's words, or others let you down.  And...I have known people who have gone to pretty prestigious colleges, when in high school...they were just average or sometimes below average...they just put their mind to it and went with it.

You'll be okay...as soon as you get away from all of the negative talk.....I mean...hell's bells....you could discover the perfect cure for cancer..and your dad would STILL be bitching about something or another. ::)

Don't make trying to please dad the focal point of your existence. I don't mean to disparage your dad, but if his fulfillment, success, or crowning achievment is based on who you are, what you do or become, then he's got problems and they are not you! People say stupid stuff when they are mad, and the worse stuff is said to the ones we are supposed to love the most. He's had his life to do his best and you need to do the best you can for yourself.  If he's unhappy with you, I'm sorry but that's his problem, not yours. You'll be on your own soon enough, but until then co-exist as best you can. Geez, my dad is like a distant uncle to me and I'm not unhappy about that. He's got his life and I've got mine. Just remember this time in your life and in the future when you have your own kids, promise yourself to try to be a better parent. That's how I look at it, almost a challenge to myself to not make his mistakes. You're gonna be ok. you are in my prayers.

Andrew...there's really no advice I could give you, because I don't think I could ever understand this situation.  I'm just so sorry things have to be this way for you.  I'm not going to sugarcoat things...I don't know your dad, but he sounds like an asshole to me.  I don't really think things are going to get better between you and him, but maybe you could put this sour relationship behind you and try to pursue a good life.

Once again...that's not really advice, it's actually just a suggestion.  I'm not arrogant enough to assume I
know your situation, so I'm not going to pretend I have this knowledge or mislead you (although I think you're too smart for that).

I am so sorry.

We had something like that around here about a week and a half ago.

There was a car crash out on the street about 6 doors down. Some guy got out of his truck and fired a shot in to somebody's rear window. There was a fight and the cops came.
Anyway we were all told we couldn't come out of our houses for the rest of the night which was fair enough, I could watch from the window anyway, but the odd thing was... the next day there were signs up in the place it happened saying "Warning - Poison".
Needless to say, I took the dog a different route.

That's terrible  :\'(  I love talking to my kids.  I'm always trying to re-assure them that it doesn't matter what they do our love for them is unconditional - I've actually been accused by "friends" of discussing too much with my kids, they feel it is "inappropriate" and then in the next breath whinge and whine to me  that "my kids tell me nothing"  ::)

Is her heart saying that I'm not the one for her? I don't know. Her Parents aren't giving us a chance to let this relationship blossom. She can't allow herself to be so weak and not let people step all over her like a cheap rug.Whatever Robin's decision is clearly up to her and her only.I'm hoping that in the near future that I can try to take care of her but we'll have to see what happens and take this relationship one step at a time. :)

Sounds like you're in the same boat as my daughter. She just signed up for a SAT prep course a couple hours every Saturday. She's been procrastinating too, but with some "gentle" prodding, she's getting ready for them, and you may as well accept it and put forth a good effort towards it. Andrew, isn't it wonderful to get all this advice from people that don't have to do it.  :)  good luck with those. I'm sure you'll kick SAT butt!

I've taken it thrice myself... every year since I was 12, I've taken the High School SAT. I prepare a very good deal, she knows that, I think all the screaming's a bit unneccessary. But then, she's sick, so it might just be that.

12, what are you a dang prodigy?  I think I was reading curious george at 12.  ;D  Screamin don't help, I think she just wants to make sure you HEAR HER, not effective communication unless you're trying to scare or intimidate to get the desired behavior. I get grump when tired and sick, don't most of us. Try to endure.

yes...I actually have a little side business. I sell items on Ebay for people that hire me to do so.  I specialize in vintage/retro items...but I will sell mostly anything in which I think will do well at auction. After the auctions end, we split the profit 50/50.  Currently I had some of my own items up this time around...but I continue everyday to try to build up my clientele.

No, apparently, he did a GREAT job, he just got stuck with a total prick for a son.

Pssshh... he needs to get a glimpse of the real world before he judges you... you don't sound like you're hooked on crack, getting various girls pregnant, involved in gangs, stealing, putting graffiti on people's property...

Just remember, you've only gotta play the game for a couple more years... and keep that in your mind... it's only a game... just play the part.  But in your mind, you should be concentrating on what YOU want and what is going to make YOU happy... That is what you should really be planning for, even if you have to go through the motions of showing that you're planning to do what he wants you to do.  Once you turn 18, there's nothing he can do if you decide not to go to college, or if you get a job, or move out...  And he doesn't have a prick for a son... he's actually lucky compared to many other parents...

Unfortunately, I can't :(  I get them so often, I've learned how to deal with them and get on with things unless it's REALLY bad, then the only thing I can do is lie in bed with an ice bag on my head, a puke-bucket by my side, no lights, no sound.  I've still got a small headache today, but it's bearable.

If I start to get a headache, I take Tylenol right away... if the headache doesn't stop, I know it's going to be a migraine... if I lay down and close my eyes before it gets too bad, it usually doesn't develop into a full-on migraine.  But if I try to just get on with things, it will become a bad one.

And now a plea for help:  If any of y'uns know anything about constructing remote control circuits using RF or IR, please send a PM my way.  I am the Robot Rambler for my school's team at the Science Olympiad.  Considering I had to learn the entire field of electronics from scratch, I think I'm doing pretty well--but as the deadline looms, I'm starting to wonder if I'm in over my head.  :-\\  But anyway, I just need some tips to make sure I don't screw up the remote control portion.  So, if you can help, please do PM me.  :)

Congratulations on the 2 years Jeff.  that is a achievment.
I feel pretty good. It's Saturday morning, I look forward to a good day starting with some good strong coffee and birthday celebrations with a chinese banquet style meal for lunch and cake and ice cream. that makes me feel good just thinking about it.

Thanks. I've been a regular on the inthe00s board for three years, but posted as a guest during 2003.

Feeling good, things are finally starting to get organised with university courses beginning this week and the prospect of moving house in a few weeks. The last year has been rather boring, and It is really time to actually do something for a change.  8)

Awesome, Howard.  8)

I see on their web site that they have a 401k plan with some company match.  You might want to ask if that applies to part-time employees.  (Most companies only offer this to full-timers, and sometimes only after one year).  That might be a way to score even more bucks when you go fuill time.  :o

I have days like that.. they suck.

Today's shaping up to be okay.. my dad's here, but he's hung over... some guy he hadn't seen since high school bought him a bunch of shots.. and, like he says: "When someone buys you a 4-dollar drink, you're kinda obligated to finish it."... so I have a nice, quiet day ahead of me.

Nice. We've been here about 5 years ourselves...

Here's what I wrote earlier:

What should have been a great weekend turned out quite bad. Ever had one of those times where everything's fine, then you start thinking, and realize how bleak things are, and how much worse they're going to become? Happened to me.

I mean, think about it... think about what you want to do most in this world... can you honestly see yourself doing it? Can you really see yourself accomplishing any of the things you want? I've tried the hardest I could to shut out those sort of dreams and ambitions, because I knew they would never come true. And now, thoughts of those desires have crept back into my mind, and they won't leave. Everywhere I go, it doesn't stop. Even just sitting in the movies, watching a comedy, I can't be happy.. All I can think is how nothing's working, how there's no way I can really be happy and do what I'd want in life, how I'm trapped in this prospective future I hate, with no realistic way to achieve anything I actually want.

I did a damn fine job of suppressing all these stupid thoughts and all this discontent up until now...

What do you wanna do with your life!!!

I remember feeling depressed, and didn't really have a reason to be but I was, I was married, had a child, good job, friends, but felt like there wasn't any adventure and felt I should do something, anything to fill that need, urge. I didn't, but the feeling went away. The feelings come and go. just accept it. However, if you don't make an effort to accomplish some of your goals, you'll regret it so keep those dreams and ambitions alive and perhaps the doors will open to you to do some of them. for now, just get thru the day.

Not on top of the world but not too bad either.

Nice family argument about money. Essentially, I had a sum of money promised to me for a specific purpose, now that promise is being reneged. Hey, fair enough. I've never been one to expect anything to be given to me, just thought it was kind of odd that it was promised and then taken away. Even though no circumstances have changed.

Well, I've had fun and now must allow my heart to be sad as a 16 year old sophomore girl from my daughters high school was killed in a car accident last night. My kid Julie said they weren't friends but she'd seen her at school. She was a cheerleader and they have her pic in the paper, it's so very sad. Very close to home as my daughter Julie is 16, she's in bed quited drained from all the crying her and her classmates did today at school when they were given the news. I feel so heartbroken for this family and sad that this young girls life ended too soon.  Her name was Jenny and the school is having a memorial for her tomorrow. It's gonna be a rough day for the kids there. Anyway, I don't reveal my sensitive side too much, or express my feelings but this hurts and I don't even know the kid, but the fact that I've been the morning carpool dad for the last 3 years and I see these kids everyday makes it hit kinda hard.  :\'(

awww man, that's rough...so hard when someone young dies like that.  My senior year, I had a very close friend die of cancer...it was heartwrenching.  I hope she feels okay...that's a tough thing to go through, even if they were not friends. :(

It is sad when they're so young and I bet you remember quite well how tough it was. Yeah, I hope Julie's ok. She's gotta do some grieving, mourning, weeping. I remember my older sister was in high school and a teacher died or got killed and my sisters friend was super close to the teacher, and was so saddened that she committed suicide. this was back in 1967,68 I think. I remember my sister crying for hours after she found out her best friend had died. This recent death was the result of an intoxicated young driver, and the girl wasn't wearing her seatbelt. He slammed into a light pole, other injuries but she didn't survive.

One peer from my class in my junior year from high school died from cancer, after she lost all her hair. I wasn't friends with her but I knew her since elementary school. That was a very unfortunate experience as other students in my class were close friends with her but it hit me hard as well. The school actually developed a writing scholarship in her name, The Anneka McMillan Scholarship, for poetry.

You may have heard about "Kayla Reed" on the news. She died about two months ago and was in my grade. I didn't know her, but it was heavily publicized.

thanks, They just showed it on tv on the local news station. My wife called me in to see. they showed her pic, then the accident scene, the pic of the 19 yr old driver responsible, then her family at home. tomorrow is gonna be a really sad day at Salesian High in Richmond. I'm usually pretty strong and a good source of support, but this one has me feeling a little weakend, I'm here to tell ya.

One peer from my class in my junior year from high school died from cancer, after she lost all her hair. I wasn't friends with her but I knew her since elementary school. It it is sad nonetheless, and if people could get a feeling of the fear and suffering and pain she experienced, I can guarantee there would be no joking. but it's a done deal. The death of a fellow human being isn't really funny.

We went to get something to eat before the game, and a band was playing at the place.. they did a few Ween, Oasis, Modest Mouse, and Flaming Lips covers.. it was awesome.

Probably exciting just to be there, and two college powerhouse teams. College basketball energy is great. All the students, the rooting sections, the bands. I like going to college games more than pro.

Healthwise, feeling alright with the exception of a "slight" runny nose. Otherwise I'm a bit nervous concerning my job for which the recruiter still hasn't scheduled an orientation for me plus the pressure of having to pay the bills next month.

Good to hear that.  It may have been allergies, though, if you were just sneezing.  I never used to have them, but have developed them in the past few years. :-\\

I'm in a pretty good mood today.  Our income tax refund hit our bank account. :)

Well I did sneeze quite a bit on Thursday...by Friday afternoon I was blowing my nose every few minutes...and by Saturday I began to get better. My sinuses had been bothering me yesterday...which is one reason why I didn't get to the 'puter till the evening.

I'm completely better now; there's no sign of my cold. O0

If it had been just allergies, though, I probably would've been over it sooner.

My 17 year old totalled her car today. She was pulling into my work to come see me before she went to work, and there are 2 lanes of cars coming toward her and one lane was stopped and the lady waved her on. . . . bad idea. There was a car coming in the other lane and hit her.  It was one of my worst nightmares come true.  We thought she broke her hand because she couldn't move it and the airbag hit her face and busted her mouth pretty bad. Seeing that blood on her face, I just lost it.  Xrays showed no broken bones though, just from the air bag deploying. She's pretty banged up and sore, but thank god she's alright.  The car is history, but that's the least of my worries right now. I'm just now getting the chance to sit down and think about it, and I keep thinking of what could've happened.   :( The people in the other car are ok, didn't need to go to the hospital. I'll be giving my kids a little tighter hug tonight I think.

Today was work-- I was so bored. MAN, I was bored.

But it got a lot better when I saw Gumby dancing, out of the corner of my eye:

So, I just sat there and watched him for a little while. I mean, work was dead and I was done with everything I had to do. So, I thought, Why not...yanno?

Thanks for all the nice comments for my daughter. She's feeling alot more sore and stiff this morning, and her hand his pretty swelled and sore, but that will all pass in a few days I'm sure.  Otherwise, all is well here!  :)

Not really.  Colds usually last 5-7 days, but allergies come and go and can last a few days to months.  If you had no cough or anything other than sneezing/runny nose, it was most likely allergies as colds usually have other symptoms....

I had a bit of a cough on Saturday (and part of Sunday morning); the crud had gotten into my throat. But it wasn't that big a deal.

Last time I'd had a cold, which was back in September, I started feeling crummy on the evening of Thursday the 8th, and I didn't feel completely better until the morning of Tuesday the 13th. So, five days altogether. But on Wednesday the 14th, I had sinus pressure.

I often think of allergies as lasting a day or two, and that's it.

I see.

Or I could still be wrong. That's just what I think. My most recent "cold" -- as I define it -- lasted 3 or 4 days.

I had a pretty good day yesterday, despite the rain.

Check THIS out to see :)

So...according to that link, what I had was just an allergy??

Wait. It said "cold symptoms generally last 7 to 10 days"...but that implies that some of the time they don't. I did have some of these symptoms this past weekend...and I had them 5 1/2 months ago as well. But they subsided within a week.

It could have been.  I thought I was just getting a lot of small colds, but when I went to the doctor, it turned out I have developed allergies in the past few years, which is quite common, I guess. ???  Mine have been pretty bad this winter since it's been so mild.  The other way I can tell is that I rarely sneeze from a cold, but I am a sneezing machine when my allergies are acting up.

My only known allergies are certain breeds of cats (which I haven't had a known allergic reaction to in almost 11 years), and possibly dust in the air. Or I could have inadvertently caught a cold from someone last Thursday and I just didn't know it.

Anytime I have profuse sneezing, it usually develops into a cold (here we go again) and I am "under the weather" for a few days.

If you don't mind me asking... do you keep a journal, or do you actually remember this stuff??  I'm just curious because I usually can't even remember what I ate a couple days ago...

I usually think of these things with special events that happened around the same time. Then I can find an estimated date.

Well...I have kept a diary or journal in the past. Often times I remember cartain things without ever writing them down.

I still keep a log of things that happen in my personal life, just not always on a daily basis. If I feel something is eventful, I like to write about it. :)

Wow, everyone is sick.. even the fabulous moi.

This morning I woke up with something funny going on in my stomach. Let's just say there was more than one pit-stop this morning. I decided to postpone leaving the house and was correct in my assumptions that more would follow. Anyway, that had ceased by 12 o'clock so I started doing what work I could here.
I decided to watch a documentary at about 3 and fell asleep half way through it, I woke up about 25 minutes ago and feel hideous. My throat is raw, i'm stuffed up, my fingers and wrists ache, my neck aches and I've already started getting hot. All in the space of about an hour  :o

hmm... at least you don't have a headache... otherwise I'd say it's probably an exaggerated hangover.

We have a school near us that is closed because so many people are sick. It's going around our area like wildfire and it looks like it's taking awhile to get over it.

Mmmm, delightful. I'll look forward to a week of this.
I've only been sick once in the past 5-6 months I think. That was a nasty one though. Whatever it was I got, I caught it around late December and had only fully got rid of it about 3-4 weeks ago.

I am really tired of being cold.  I feel like this house is cold all the time, and I am always chilled.  I don't know if there is something wrong with me or if it really is cold... but if I turn the heater up my husband starts complaining that it's too hot, or he will turn it down without telling me.  I took a hot bath earlier tonight and it was the only time I was warm all day... If only I could just have 24 hours to be warm without having to sit with a jacket on and a blanket wrapped around me the whole time... it would be a dream come true... :\'(

I was thinking of starting it myself, since I'm here every day, but there's a chance I may not be around when March changes to April; I may be out of town on the night of the 31st and all day on the 1st.

Is there a chance someone else could do it for May?
