Subject: Best Album Covers Ever

My personal favorite album covers:

Beck's "Sea Change" and "Odelay!"

The album cover of "Odelay!" scares me. I didn't know what that mass of hair was for a long time.

Camera Obscura's album cover for "Under Achievers Please Try Harder"

I've always liked the album cover for the Goo Goo Dolls' "Dizzy Up The Girl"

Action Action's "Don't Cut Your Fabric To This Years Fashion" album cover

Here are two great album covers.  Ironically, they are both from 1979 ...

"Images At Twilight" by SAGA                                  "Chicago 13" by Chicago

honourable mention goes to The Pet Shop Boys 1993 album "Very" for there was not an actual album cover.  The CD came packaged in an orange case with raised bumps that is often called the Lego case.  Very cool, but if you break it, you're screwed, as now the CD just comes in a regular case with a blue album sleeve showing a picture of the orange case

The Pet Shop Boys had another great album cover with "Bilingual" in 1997.  The word "Bilingual" appears via a frosted effect which is embossed on the actual CD case.  It is accompanied by a yellow inlay booklet which simply reads "Pet Shop Boys" in small blue print  8)

This is Steve Vai's music used for various movies, the most notable being the famous "Cutting heads" guitar duel from the movie Crossroads with Ralph Macchio.

Steve Vai is a God!
He does some amazing guitar playing. I found this CD after some serious prospecting to get the guitar work from Crossroads, and it sounds so devilishly good. I think I'll go listen to it.
