We finally got the pictures back and since there were a few requests, I will post only a few.


I will start off with Carlos and I on the roof on my sister-in-law's condo. Yes, that is the view. Beautiful, huh?

This was at Guilligan's Island where we went on a "three-hour tour".  ;) ;D  Notice that there is an island in the middle of the picture there. The current is VERY strong and we made the mistake of going towards the right when we should have went to the left (it was shorter). We had to pull ourselves by the mangrove roots to get around because the current was THAT strong. But once we got around, we just let the current take us back and we just floated.

Here we are on the beach (with my new swim suit). That is Guilligan's Island behind us.

Have to show this picture. This was the lighthouse in Guanica that Carlos' dad was station at when he met Carlos' mother. It is sad that it in decay.

This is us (Carlos and I in top pic and my sister-in-law in the bottom) at the Botanical Gardens in San Juan. It was so beautiful there. Notice the HUGH bamboo trees.

Again, at the Botanical Gardens. This was a "blue" (yes blue even though it was white) heron. The first one was him sitting (I hope you can see it) and the second one was him in flight. I would have had a GREAT picture of him in flight but I had just ran out of film when he flew past me.  :\'(



That is basically the highlights. (There are many, many more but mostly of scenery along the road.) I hope you all enjoy viewing them.

Thanks.  ;D  We did have a wonderful time-but like I said, it is great to be home. The hardest part about leaving was leaving my sister-in-law and father-in-law. They are both great people.

A couple of things I forgot to mention-the pic of Guilligan's Island-I made a mistake. The island we swam around is to the right of the pic-not the center-sorry.  :-[  Also, I don't know if anyone noticed that Carlos is wearing a Victoria's Secret hat at the beach.  ;D ;D ;D  It was my SIL-an old, worn-out thing that she didn't care if it got wet and sandy. We all laughed about it and Carlos said, "Maybe I AM Victoria's Secret."  ;D ;D ;D

Wow, Cat - those were so much fun to look at. Especially the botanitcal gardens. I didn't realise you were in such a tropical paradise. It looks nice how it's not overcrowded, either. I bet you had a blast!
