I'd really like it if some people would like to talk to me on messenger.  I don't have very many people to talk to so..

My sister uses MSN Messenger a lot, but I've only used AOL Instant Messenger once when my uncle was online. We sent each other jokes at the time.

When I was on a computer course which needed students have to be in constant contact, MSN was very useful, but I was always interupted by my other friends.

Used to have Yahoo, but had to get MSN because all my school mates had it.

Don't use it much, apart from to talk to Stacie

I have AIM (my name's already available). I'm online most of the time, especially when at school, but if I don't reply that probably means I'm away from my computer. I always respond eventually, though.

I have AIM and MSN, both of which are in my profile off the left there. I'm on MSN with great frequency (including right now), but AIM not so much.

I have only MSN and Yahoo!  and have 5 people who I chat with. I think 'Messengers' are quite tiresome.

I have AOL and that's it. I rarely am on AOL so I don't instant message unless I've been messaged or have some spare time.

Me too - but don't your current 'online' contacts show immediately on the little green icon at the top of the page?

It's odd that, cos' as soon as I come online I can see little numbers on the icon of 'who's online' - then click the icon and can see who's available. Sometimes I go as 'Offline status' red icon tho' if I'm busy elsewhere   :D

Mind you I have to login to use Yahoo! which is a total pain in the arse.

I used to use yahoo to chat with friends & all, but i never used to make friends online, now i dont use yahoo messenger at all, except under some situations to communicate with one friend,
and i have used yhaoo actually to chat with only one friend of mine, and then i have msn messenger, but yes i use it quite often, for long times same reason just to chat with one of my friends, and otherwise messengers are not meant for me, i find it boring to make friends online,
