Hi folks,
Don't know if anyone's tried this b4. Be interesting to see if it takes off. I reckon there's probably a lot of gems here on this site buried deep in the vaults, that many 'newbies' to this site have not experienced. Wouldn't it be great to have a highlights/ 'best of' inthe00s section? Something light-hearted, where you can come to re-live the moments that made you laugh/think 'that was really clever' etc; etc; One way of getting this stuff is to think over your own posts, go to your profile, click on 'show Posts', trawl through some of these, and copy your own greatest hits to this thread. No hurry, do it as an on going project. Generally, I imagine these moments should be pretty much stand alone, i.e., not need numerous other threads posted to understand the joke/brilliant moment. This is after all meant to be a 'highlights' section.
So, submit some of your own (that got a great reaction, or you think SHOULD have), or those that others made that you thought were great from the past/from the present. Note, for the less technically minded here, to get this stuff into this thread, go to the post, right click the mouse button, choose select all, then copy and paste it here. Let this be a spot for a good laugh/ to treasure those 'golden' moments.

One of the funniest moments I had was when Erin (Quirk) was talking about the member Cait Sith, and as I read it quickly, I totally thought she said Cat ѕhit ;D

i remember at the start of the new school year
i was getting ready for our first soccer game and i was running late so
i had to get dressed really fast and i didn't have time to tie
the string in my pants and shoes
so while running to the soccer Field i tripped on my shoe string and fell
but what make it funny some how i got the string from my
pant caught on some thing and when i went to stand up i
lost my pants so ever one seen me in my batman boxers
it was so funny and to this day they call me twinkle toe Flanagan
( they sad when i was running i looked like a fairy)

That was one of the most annoying threads ever! It was so frustrating to read it and try to understand the ridiculous logic...yet there was no point in trying to argue with any sense because it was so obvious that it wouldn't have changed anything.

The ridiculous logic was what made it so funny. But you are right, there was no point trying to argue. There were many other threads where he saw only what he wanted to see and everyone else was wrong but yet he claimed he was the most opened-minded person on the boards. ::) (You can ask Crazymom about that. ;) )

If I remember correctly, I think whistledog with his multi-symbol screen name caused the board to crash or something... :P
The board didn't actually crash (i don't think)
One of the symbols I used in my screen name didn't like the board too much, so what it did was mess up my name, by underlining my penguin title making it look like my user name was Tuxedo Sam, which also in turn shifted certains rows and colums one space to the left on the boards ;D

To top it all off, when I tried to edit my profile, I kept getting a blank screen. After about a half hour, I figured that if I go into my history folder, I might be able to go to my profile before it effed up. It worked ;D
