I'm not too fussed about the Karma feature, but I'm curious to know what people do to make you give them karma? Why do some have so few karma points per post, while others so many?

I give karma to people who do or say something nice, or people that I just generally like a lot, or people who give me karma a lot.

I think generally, people give karma to those whose posts they like, which might be why you have so little karma :P ;D

But seriously though ... I usually give out karma to those who post in my quizzes, or those who start quizzes or those whose posts make me smile, laugh, etc.  There are sometimes I just feel like giving out karma for the hell of it

I Saw a forum where you actually had to fill out something to give someone a plus or minus karma.. and then you could see who was applauding or smiting who and why. You needed a good reason or it got removed, too.

Because of something I think is cleverl/witty, etc. like Andrew.
If I thikn someone doesn't have as much karma as they deserve.
If someone gives me karma for no reason, I think it's nice of them, so I do it... Of course, some people do it just to get karma...

I admit that I am a bit conservitive (Yeah, I know-me the Liberal being conservitive  ;) ) when it comes to giving out karma. I give them when some makes a post that I really like what they said-or just made me rotflmao (which has happened a couple of times). I also give karma to cheer people up if they are feeling down and I give karma to people who cheer me up. And I give karma as "birthday presents"  ;D

-making me laugh... 'cause, that's what this place is about, entertainment, a break from work or whatever

You're doing ok for the number of posts you have...and most people don't usually keep a tab on how much karma they get and from whom, and give out accordingly, as if it were money. lol
