Subject: Your nicknames

Written By: Donnie Darko on 05/16/06 at 12:43 pm

What nicknames do you/can you go by?

I can be a Mike, Mikey, Mick, or Mickey, if I wanted to. Mike's the only common I go by with any commonality.

Alex, Al, Xander(could work), and Lex.

I'm thinking of changing to Lex...

I got called Big Al alot by my family as a kid... and in high school I picked up the nickname Don Vito.

Mine's 'Trimac' of course (yes, I gave it to myself). Even had it on my high school graduation jumper.

Liz, Lizzy, Liza, Eliza, and Beth.

I can't think of any more...

Lets compare this to Richard.

Rick, Ricky, Rich, Richie, Dick, and Dickie. I think Richard wins...

You're a Kay aren't you? My maternal grandmother's maiden name is Kay.  We could be related!

Oh, also, you could be related to Jimmy Carter. Hes a Kay cousin by way of his mother(not sure if her maiden name was actually Kay though).

Cat.  ;D  And Hubby calls me Honey. As a kid I was called Dolly (and I REFUSE to say what my dad called-and still calls me sometimes). In high school I was called Roxanne (don't ask) and in Basic Training I was called Bird (again, don't ask). Most of the time, my family and friends will just call me by the first syllable of my name (and there have been a few people who added "less" to that. One of my sisters calls me Miss______ (my middle name-another name that I hate).

As a kid I was called Bungle.

I always used to wage headfirst in to everything without any consideration of what might happen.. and I usually came out OK but confused.
Hence the name bungle.

When I played Rugby I was called pebble. It was a bit sarcastic. A play on my last name and the fact that I'd get in front of people and cream 'em. I played Tighthead Prop.. basically the purpose of that position is to physically intimidate everybody coming up against you.

;D
