Subject: Deep Thoughts of the Day :P

Written By: Dominic L. on 06/30/06 at 11:01 am

I've said a lot of things that don't make much sense and make me sound like a stoned hippie, so I thought I might as well make a thread for them where you can make yourself sound like a stoned hippie!!! :D :D :D

Me (To Beth about her living in a time zone three hours ahead of mine): Time zones are so weird.. It's like... things are going on at the same time, but you're almost like.. three hours in the future!!!

If you could know one random celebrity, like, really well, that they would, like, come to your house just so you could prove that you knew them, who would it be?

Like, if you could know them so well, you could be having an argument, say, like "Hold on, I'll call _____, he'll settle this for us." and then he'd fly out and settle the argument. And then, you'd, like, hang out with them and stuff.

Permanence of things in the physical, emotional, and mental universe is an illusion.  The configuration of things in this present moment exists for an instant of zero duration and then is gone forever, being instantaneously replaced by a subsequent configuration of zero duration, and on and on.  So, everything we sense in each present moment is only a momentary never-to-be-repeated flash of illusion.  So what IS permanent?  What DOES endure forever?  Anything?  Nothing?  Both?  Neither?  Red Bull ?

Yanno, I think about this all the time. I think I've just decided not to, because my brain hurts... But really, if you think about it, NOTHING lasts... at all, everything's always changing... ALWAYS!!! AHHHH!H!!!! Excuse me while I vomit my thoughts.

If you had happiness, you wouldn't need to strive for it?

It doesn't exist for an instant of zero duration. If that were the case, there would be no existance. It exists for an infinitesimaly small amount of time. So permanence of things in the universe is not as much of an illusion as you think.

And Nixon will never die.

The egg.

A non-chicken animal laid an egg that produced a chicken.
