Yup, it would be there if he had the time zone set up properly in the account profile.  Didn't know it worked for the birthdays as well as the post times (figures though).  Personally I think it should be set to display the birthday of the person depending on the time zone of the person having the birthday.  Of course that would require more work on the part of the software (yet a few more fetches to the database) so it's probably better it doesn't.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes.  Wish it could be a slight bit happier, but my furnace/air conditioner has had it's forth service call of the past four months today.  It's only three years old, yet a major pain in the wallet lately.  My boss must be wondering if I can be making it up at this point, I'm in late or not at all so much due to it.

When I get home tonight, Neal, Susan and I are going to have dinner out somewhere and stop in at Newbury Comics (I hope they still have the free pub glasses!).  It's about as much excitement as I can take at the moment. 

I got my gifts already, a movie magazine, some clothes, Christopher Walken's SNL moments on DVD, a book on building kitchen cabinets (I'm almost ready to begin making some new ones), and a Newbury Comics gift card from my inlaws, which I hope to spend tonight.

Yeah... and probably not everyone's profile is set up to reflect their own time zone. That was one of the first modifications I made to my profile after I registered.

But he's not. It is kinda misleading, however, when someone in the Western Hemisphere (like Chucky or me) gets a birthday greeting one day early (especially when the sun hasn't gone down yet). It happened to me two years ago...but then when I saw the thread and all the greetings/wishes, I had to say: "Thanks all...but it's not till tomorrow."
