I just read the entire thread, and I want to thank all of you for the well wishes!
My birthday was SOOOOOOOOO much better than last year!

Well, for those who want details, or are curious as to what happened.....
It actually started just about 1/2 hour after my birthday began. My wife did something she had only done once before, about 7 yrs. ago...but that bit isn't for such a family-oriented site... :D
Thus, I skip to when I woke up-
My daughter and wife brought me 3 burgundy roses, and put them on my nightstand.
I was given my 2nd present (the 1st not being for these pages, here...): a 3 DVD set of The Who's "Tommy" and "Quadrophenia"- Live. I am a big fan of the Who, and I was part of a Broadway revue, that did "Tommy" bit, back in 1993.
They took me out to breakfast, where I attempted to demolish a Meat Lover's Skillet...I know not to try THAT again!!!!! :P
My daughter was upset that she hadn't gotten me a present yet, so we spent 1 1/2 hours looking for that special something for Daddy. My wife helped her out, but she couldn't find what she wanted to get me, which was a sundial. (I LOVE Old World objects!) She decided to go with 2 CDs of Billy Idol, that I didn't have. (I am also a Billy Idol fan.) Had to leave after that, because our daughter then got upset that SHE wasn't getting presents. You understand how 5 yr. olds can get! ;D
We dropped her off with my in-laws, and my wife took me to dinner, @ Sierra Nevada Breweries, in a restaurant called "The Taproom". Being an epicurean, I was curious. I got to sample quite a few beers they made, and the food was top-notch!
Had to go to work, after that. So I'm in Biggs, and at work doing my session. Someone brings up a Milky Way bar with 3 candles in it, which gives an odd representation of 31. The crowd sang "Happy B-Day" to me, and every 5 minutes, a drink somehow magically appeared in my hand. Thank God I usually don't get hangovers!
My wife drove us home, after the session. We took a small side-trip, and we were going to make love out at the Afterbay, but she got nervous, and couldn't relax enough. C'est la vie!
All in all, it was a far superior birthday to my last 5.
I also thank you guys who wished me well.
BTW, where did you all get those images? The Daleks, the Japanime, and I particulaly loved the opening screen script for my movie (see my handle)!
