I like to have lunch with my kid at her high school and see all the kids I remember when they were little all grown up high schoolers now.

Lol, all teenagers are just totally embarrassed when their parents are a mile within school grounds. Some things never change.

You all are 100% right, she doesn't appear to like it much when I show up, but it still makes me happy! I only go once in a great while, and I brought the class a whole bag of candy last time. I think she doesn't mind it as much as she lets on :)

lol, the teachers love when I show up though. I sat in on my kids history class and actually started learning stuff, and that honestly made me happy!

I don't think that'd be allowed at my school...
If it's a public school, parents are oftentimes encouraged to go to their kids' classes, and I've never had a teacher object (just my kids). You have to get a pass at the school office and find out where the class is. I went to my kids art class, and it was unruly at first, but when I showed interest in what the kids were assigned to do, about every one of them started working on their project.
If you go to a private school, they might have different rules about parents sitting in on classes.

Hmm... I go to a public school, but I don't think any parents ever come in to particitpate with the class XD.
