I can understand Back to the future.  After I saw it i wanted to dedicate my life to it.

Yeah, it pretty much reinforced things that were already sorta in my mind (i.e. seeing how an area looked in the past, wanting to do things over again, learning lessons from your mistakes, or just wondering how your personal future turns out), so I always identified with it.

Although the real Marty McFly has more of a temper than I do. ;D
