hooray for Happy Feet.  I like the spoofy original Casino Royale with David Niven, Peter Sellers, & Woody Allen
ITV cashed in by showing the original Casino Royale last Saturday afternoon on tv, but I watched something else and should had taped it.

I would like to have my own copy on DVD.  It's a fun movie.

YAY! for Happy Feet 8)

Is the new Casino Royale based off the original version, or did they re-tool it to remove the comedic elements of the original?

From interviews and reports on the radio, I have gathered that this is the first Bond book written by Ian Fleming (hence escaping the copyright when Cubby Brocolli brought the Bond rights) and Casino Royale sets the true character of James Bond.

This new one is a serious version. the first was a verfy funny parody. I guess they're keeping true to the story this time

The first version was a complete disaster for at least four different directors were used in the making of the movie, to many conflicts going on.

It is wacky, but I like it. I can recall when it came to the theatre. I paid a whopping .50 cents to see it. Now a movie costs almost 20 times that much
