Bought the house I wanted in 1983 for $35,000. I just found out today that it sold for $115,000.

I second that, to think I wasted 6 months on the Howard Stern Bulletin Board where you would get
insulted on a regular basis.

done better in school and graduated properly. Then I would have gone on to college and done something with my life. I also would have lost weight sooner. I would've spent more time with my grandfather. I would've delayed my mom later on the day that she got into that nasty car accident. I would've made my dad rest his back more so he wouldn't be going through the sh*t he's going through now.

Ah hell, there is a lot I would've changed if I knew it all back then. :-\\

I figure not knowing then what I know now is what makes me what I am today, and I'm okay with that, so I think I wouldn't change a thing.

Except one day I think I'm going to have to get rid of this nasty Shakira fixation I seem to have.

Someone wise once told me that one never really knows what they're supposed to be doing until they're in their late 20s...if you decide soon, great!  If not, no big...of course, if you're 40 and still don't know what to do, that's a different issue ;)

The end of the year?  That's, like, 330 days away!  :o

If you do it now, that's 330 days you have to find a job before the end of the year because you are better than your job coach.

My job coach boasts most of the time.So who gives a rat's ass how long he's been in the business for 13 years,BIG DEAL!

He just thinks that If I go on my own,I'll have less of a chance of being hired(burning my bridges),in his own opinion since I've known him. That's why for the now I'll stick with his so called "connections" so he claims to have. ::)

You do know that you can do your own job search without the job coach, right?  If he finds you a job before you find one for yourself, that's great, but you shouldn't waste time sitting on your bum waiting for a rabbit to crash into a tree.

I'm not sure that I would have changed anything.  The 'mistakes' I made when I was younger directed the path my life took.  If I'd stuck with school post-16 then I might have gone to university and have a totally wonderful high;y paid job by now.  But I wouldn't have met my husband and my life might have been crappier.  Who can say  :-\\

That's true about me as well. If I had gone on to college or whatever, I might have never met Rice and I might be living a completely different and unfulfilling life right now.

I think what kills me though is the unknown. I'd like to have known what would have happened if I had changed directions in my life, but at the same time, I wouldn't want to have to live with that decision if it were bad.
