As always, it happened during daylight over here. But I'm sure it was spectacular to watch.

I was wondering what happened or how it would appear in the Southern hemisphere. Any pictures anyone?

It would've been just visible in Western Australia. South Africa & South America would've had a decent view of it.

Any South African's or South American's among us?

I was waiting, The moon was to rise in full eclipse and appear as blood red, end of the world stuff, but
at the time of rising we had cloud cover. >:(  I was out there with a camera, and a telescope, stinking clouds.

I was able to see a little of the eclipse as it was ending, but that was it.

I forgot all about it until it was half over. I looked out the window to see a little bit of it and it disappeared as I was watching. A few minutes later it reappeared-only to disappear again. I think I was seeing clouds moving in front of it.  :\'( :\'(

I did watch the entire luner eclipes once a long time ago. It was totally spectacular.

WHat time did it happen?

I let the dogs out sometime around 3 but everything was normalish.. although thinking about it, there was a weird haze.

Last eclipse deal I saw was the big solar eclipse way back a few years ago. That was cool.

Justin and I were planning on watching it together, but it was so cloudy, we couldn't see it. As soon as he left, it was visable again. I parked my car in a field and watched it.

About 9 pm EST, with the main show beginning about 10pm EST.  The whole thing was over by 1:30 am EST.

I would love to be able to see a solar eclipse with my own eyes......wearing the proper glasses, of course.  I've been watching video of the last few solar eclipses and they are just breathtaking.

It started about 9 9.30 here but didn't reach totality until about 11.00 maybe later.  What time is Al Murray on? because it was during that.

It was a lovely clear night and we had a great view from our front garden
