I'm looking forward to my first fun filled month at Pathmark.Towards the end of the month,I'm going to be on the Union which is great for me plus paychecks will be coming in like water every Thursday.I'm happy to work and to make money again.Better hours and better days plus being outside is great depending on the weather conditions.I'm getting to enjoy customer service a whole lot there.I should do fine and my job coach/supervisor are proud of me that I'm working hard to do my job right.  :)

Felt OK, for most of the day.

The rest of my new music came in today, so that helped me feel a LOT better.

Well....yesterday I felt bummed, because our internet connection at home was corrupt again. Turns out, it's the modem that's the problem. My mom ordered a new modem on Tuesday, and it's supposed to be delivered sometime today. If that doesn't work, then... who knows what the problem could be.

I'm feeling pretty good.Today is payday at Pathmark and it looks like another huge paycheck for me so with all that money I might consider going back to putting money in my bank account again or asking my Mother if she could have a seperate account which is my money but under her account in the bank.That way,my money will be safe and I won't have to have all those hundreds of bills lying around my room.

sorry to hear you're sad Ashley, and this all sorta sucks, but I guess you get to do and accomplish things like so many of us had to do, on our own. It's tough, but you'll be very self sufficient and able to take care of yourself when you're out on your own and in your own place and as part of the working class. so hang in there, hopefully someone will help.

I'm pretty happy Robin And I are seeing each other part time and It's ok with me.It gives her a chance to see friends and family while her guy is out there working and feeling good for himself.Sometimes we may not be able to each other because of late days at Pathmark such as tomorrow the schedule was supposed to be 10-2 but was changed to 2-6 so then I said maybe next week and I'll let her know what happens from there.Hey,I wanted to work and make money so there you go.I'm back in the high life again.  :)

I'm happy...Micah got home yesterday.  We had a great afternoon, then she went to Project Prom.  She is still sleeping (it is almost noon).

I did talk to him.. wanna know the funny thing? It wasn't true at all... this other dude was making it up (I should have known, he's a chronic liar) to try to piss me off and make me get mad at this guy. So the first guy and I are okay.. I'm pissed at the lying dude.

Went to a concert last night.. got into a fight with this dude from Hagerstown, Maryland.. he was the lead singer of a band I saw before (who sucked), and he was filling in for another band's vocalist (who also sucked)... he was also a dick... the whole thing started by accident, and was over quickly, but I sorted that sh-t out.

I still managed to have a good concert all in all.. and then I had a rehearsal with my own band.

We're debating finding a bass player so I can switch to keyboard.. I'm better at keyboard, and it would allow me to concentrate on vocals more than playing the bass would (which reminds me, my voice is back, so I can growl again!)... but we're still not sure. I'm thinking it would be a good switch.. of course, now I have to buy a different amp.

Well, ELO Kiddies, here's the Weekend in Hawk's Haven, summed up:

Friday- Woke up very early, in time for the Butte County Surplus Sale.
Goes on the 1st Friday of each month- they clear out their excess stuff, at decent prices.
Upside- I finally have my own frippin' computer! $100 got me a 1.2 mHz computer, w/20 GB hard drive.
Complete with monitor, keybord, mouse & all cables. (I was actually able to get the best of the lot!)

Downside- No modem, and I have to have it installed. (My father-in-law, the Uber-Computer Wizrd, is working on getting things taken care of.)

Saturday- The Cinco de Mayo gig went pretty well. Up in Paradise, where everyone & everything is mellow.
The one who booked us is a photographer. He will be sending me some digital pics, which will be used in PR online stuff, as well as on the website, which will be ready by the end of June!

Downside- As a result, Melissa had to cover my first 1 1/2 hrs. @ The Pheasant Club, for my Sat. night session. However, she's covered for me a couple times- mainly when I was in the hospital, recovering from my last ankle surgery. Still got paid, tho'.......

Sunday- Had a good day, mostly.....until I get a call from my sister-in-law, saying that my daughter had bitten one of her kids. En route to get her, I am informed by my wife that getting our tower back will take about 2-4 weeks. This, naturally, sets me in a depressed mood, from which I haven't quite recovered.
To wait for so long on something so essential to today's world, especially with the impact it could have on my sideline, and then to be told I have to wait yet longer, still.......I was in tears, off & on today.
(There are legitimate reasons for this- will explain if asked)

To top it off- Friday, my wife is informed that her final Grandparent- her maternal Grandfather, has died.
It might've been worse, if her Grandfather had been worth a damn. However, he was a dirty old man- he suiffered the sickness of being a molestor/pedophile. Only one of his children has really mourned the loss, and that's because she refused to believe what "Daddy" did. Melissa is there for her mom, naturally, but she seems to be totally at peace with the issue.

I feel great to be back online today. When our connection at home gets restored, that'll be even more wonderful!

Well, ELO Kiddies, here's the Weekend in Hawk's Haven, summed up:

Friday- Woke up very early, in time for the Butte County Surplus Sale.
Goes on the 1st Friday of each month- they clear out their excess stuff, at decent prices.
Upside- I finally have my own frippin' computer! $100 got me a 1.2 mHz computer, w/20 GB hard drive.
Complete with monitor, keybord, mouse & all cables. (I was actually able to get the best of the lot!)

Downside- No modem, and I have to have it installed. (My father-in-law, the Uber-Computer Wizrd, is working on getting things taken care of.)

Saturday- The Cinco de Mayo gig went pretty well. Up in Paradise, where everyone & everything is mellow.
The one who booked us is a photographer. He will be sending me some digital pics, which will be used in PR online stuff, as well as on the website, which will be ready by the end of June!

Downside- As a result, Melissa had to cover my first 1 1/2 hrs. @ The Pheasant Club, for my Sat. night session. However, she's covered for me a couple times- mainly when I was in the hospital, recovering from my last ankle surgery. Still got paid, tho'.......

I'm feeling really good.I made Robin feel positive over the phone tonight and had a half hour conversation over the phone with her.She told me that she feels negative every day and that she fears the future and then I was saying to her that If you let your anxiety get in the way,It's only going to hinder you for the rest of your life.Try turning the negatives into positives and always think of good thoughts every single day.Then I told her that I get my optimism from My Mother and that I like to transfer my optimism and give it to someone else,especially her.Other than that,I feel much better talking to someone I care about.    :)

I am a bit ticked off. We just got back from a retirement ceremony for a former collegue of Carlos' and a former professor of mine. The way it sounded, that she implemented programs that in fact Carlos implemented (or at least it was his idea) and it sounded like she was such a WONDERFUL teacher when in fact, she was one of the worst teachers I had at that school. I was talking to another former student and she felt the same way I did, which made me feel that it wasn't just me. I also talked to another former collegue of Carlos (and a former teacher of mine) and she basically said that my instincts were right on. Again, it made me feel a bit better. Of course having several glasses of wine didn't hurt either.  ;)  Yeah, I'm feeling no pain right now, but it did enlighten me a bit.


Oh yeah, I was pissed because right before we left the house, I had on my new dress and I bent down to put on my shoe and felt something give. I felt the side of the dress and there was a rip in the side-yes, a new dress!!  >:( >:(  So, at the last minute, I had to change my dress. Luckily I had just bought a new one yesterday. Not what I had planned but it worked out ok. (Had a few complements.  :) ) So, tomorrow (or maybe the next day), I have to return the dress!  >:( >:( >:(

I was on the turnpike (Which is 65mph). However, there was construction going on (BUT, all of the other times, while the road work was happening, it was 55mph) This time it just so happened to be 45mph, and I was going 55. It was my first offense, and it wasn't even that major of speedage. $150. Lame. As. Hell.

It went very well. The girls I work with are nice (and extremely laid back.. they basically let me do anything I want), but they're not too nice to the guys unfortunately. I was nice to them (The guys), so they warmed up to me today... at least Chris did. I took care of him the most. And no, the diaper changing wasn't as bad as I thought, but guess what I get to do tomorrow?! That's right, a rectal suppository! In fact, Chris gets one every other night. Ah well, I'll get used to it. I'll have to call you tomorrow, or something and tell you more about it.

As far as the ol' "butt missile" goes- It's somewhat creepy and odd at first, according to friends of mine who are/were Care Home Providers, but sooner or later, it just melts into the background.

They also explained about why female attendees are generally rude to male patients, as I once asked this-
Most are generally either afraid of giving the male patients ideas, or they just figure that since they're old, they are easy mental scratching posts.

Grand Prize- $100,000.

It's a thought that's really weighing on me, because of one particular issue I have:
It's a contest for Country music.

While I started out in Country, it's not a music arena I ever pictured myself going back to.
True, I have sung some Country music at my sessions, and I also do a "cross-over" country piece with Salsa Bella, but I haven't seriously sang Country music in well over 25 yrs.!

The issue I have is this:
Do I return to my musical roots, in order to shot for a possible prize, or do I stick to my guns, and possibly forfeit an entry?

Well, I have just found out about something that is making me really think.

Ugh, Illinois laws suck majorly.

I recently traded in my Missouri license for an Illinois one and whilst I was there I picked up one of those highway rules book things they have. All the fines and punishments are basically twice what they are in Missouri.
