I am  meeting my family at a beach house on Dauphin Island.  There will be lots of spicy food and drinks made in a blender. Oh and home made Ice Cream!!! yeah!!!  I'm sure there will be a bonfire on the beach and the kids running wild.  goodtimes... My Bro is coming over to visit me, he should be flying in around the 23rd of July. We'll hang out here in Ill-e-noize for a few days, Basically until my birthday so I can milk a nice dinner out of the family, then we'll be going up to Chicago, from there up to New York, then Boston and possibly down to D.C before coming back here.
I'm going to try and discourage him from going to Boston though and instead go to Philadelphia, I've been to Boston and I didn't like it, but I thought Philly was great!

Yeah, except he lost his license a few months ago (not for criminal reasons believe it nor not) so I'm going to be exhausted by the time I get to the North East because we're both too cheap to stop and spend the night in a motel on the way.  ;D

We're taking the munchkin and going with my parents out in Eastern Pa...to visit some children's theme places.

I have next week off work but I am just hanging out at home. I may go to London for a day I haven't really decided yet.
I'm going to the Isle of Wight in September, first we go to Torquay for the weekend to meet up with himself's sister and her husband, then the IofW for 5 days and then all back here! 

Probably a few days in Scotland once the schools have broken up for the summer.

I hope to drive up to Northern Ohio on the Lake Erie shore some this summer.  It's a nice quick getaway and shouldn't cost too much.

Mid-July a week in Lanzarote and first week of August in Scotland

Next wednesday,i'm leaving for Brazil,staying 2 weeks,it's been more than 4 years since i've been there so i'm really excited to meet everyone,and i want to go do all the touristy sightseeing too,because no matter if that's where i'm from,i still find Rio breathtaking beautiful!

Oh and first week of August i'll have time off work again,and although i'll probably stay here in Lisbon,i'm hoping it to be one of the best weeks of my life.

I don't get summers off, but I hope to take an occasional Friday off here and there to give my mom a respite from taking care of my dad.  Other than that, I foresee more weekends spent at the lake helping out than normally spent over there.

every summer mom rents a house on a lake in the adirondaks...same house the last five years. i can't go for thw whole week, but a few days is really relaxing.

I'm going to see my relatives in Pomeroy Ohio during the week of July 4th.

I just finished my vacation to Hawaii.

My parents are coming out to visit me the first week of July with my nephews and one niece.  They are pretty excited to come out here and see D.C. but I dread doing the walk to the monuments again.  He He.

I am hoping that I will get to go on a cruise in October.

my next real vacation is in the fall.  we're going to Jackson Hole for skiing. otherwise, a few weekends upstate is a bout it for me.

Next Sunday (the 24th) we are going down to Conn. for 1 day. I really don't think of that as a vacation-it is more like a "family obligation". But it will nice to see some of my sisters.

We hope to go out on the boat several times this summer but as of now, the boat is sitting in our driveway.  :\'( 
We also may take a few weekend get-aways here and there.

Our BIG vacations will be next year. Maybe in Feb. we will be going back to PR and next summer we will be going across country again.

South Lake Tahoe for 8 days at the end of July. we'll try to get some hiking in, eating at all our favorite restaurants, gambling, maybe catch a show at a casino, hang out by the pool, play cards, bocci ball, horseshoes, hit the craft fairs that are up there. It's pretty laid back & relaxing.

So I came out to California like I was planning to do.  I'm at my sister's in Southern Cal. right now.  I might go over to my mom's house and visit for awhile....or maybe not.

yeah, we've been watching the news daily and the Lake Tahoe fire is sort of close to where we stay, but as long as the casinos aren't affected, we should be fine.

I'll be leaving tomorrow. Gonna stay away for two weeks (to Weerdinge, near Emmen, in the province of Drenthe). We (my parents, my younger brother, my sister and me) haven't seen the apartment yet. Apparently, it's some converted barn or farmhouse. :-\\ My older brother and his wife have picked it for us, and they gave the OK - so I guess we'll be safe.

Now all we need is the sun... 8)
