I like this thread though - odd YouTube vids. What follows is one of the most awesome, perhaps terrifying, and probably really expensive thirty seconds of footage I've seen in a long time:

Julie Brown* was a satirical songwriter in the '80s. Other hits included "The Homecoming Queen's Got a Gun" and "Big and Stupid."
"I'm a Blonde" was making fun of the bimbo stereotype. The line "I want to be a veterinarian because I love children" was a rip on how dumb beauty queens always profess some grand philanthropic vision, often incorporating children and/or animals. I shouldn't have assumed everybody would remember Jule Brown much less her lyrics!
