We had a Lunar Eclispe a few months back, and it looked the same then.

binoculars work as well.  That's how me and the hubby viewed the lunar eclipse from our balcony the other morning.

yeah, I have 3 pairs and didn't use mine for the eclipse, but when I was at the San Francisco Giants baseball game last Saturday night, the moon came out and I had my binoc's and it looked very cool
