Six inches of snow, and now it's raining and forming puddles on top of the snow that already fell. I'm not going outside in that crap until the rain stops. I can't imagine how heavy it is to shovel. Well, a little bit, I did get dressed up and walked out the door. Then I realized I'd be drenched before I even made it ten feet down the 50 feet of sidewalk.
Think I'll wait until it stops raining. I'm sure this is another one of those no mail delivery days as well.

Yes, it's been pretty crappy here, as well. Vaughn didn't have school yesterday...they had it today, but now he is sick, so I had to keep him home. Right now it's a rain/snow mix coming down, on top of about 7 inches of already existing snow.

It is so crappy out that we didn't get our morning paper. We saw the mail woman walk by-but she just walked by-no mail. Oh well. I'm glad we don't have anywhere we have to be today.

Our drive was ploughed around 9 this morning. I couldn't face going out until about 2 this afternoon. I was out about half an hour clearing the last of the slush off the drive just in case it freezes overnight. Although the drive was absolutely running with water so it will be sheet ice if it does freeze. I was only out half an hour and my gloves were soaked through

We're getting some crazy, crazy winds right now, and it's supposed to be like this throughout the night. :(

We got slammed at around 2:00 and it is still snowing 5 1/2 hours later. Traffic is a nightmare and there is a school south of me that the kids are still there because the buses can't get out. Thankfully I am watching all this from my living room.
