I gave my parents their card this morning, and they gave one to me.

I will still have to wait until next Monday to give out the rest of my choc hearts; I only gave out 10 of them yesterday to my lady friends...including a girl who I met yesterday on the train. :)

...So we didn't do too much for Valentines, I gave Diane a box of See's chocolates, (mainly truffles) and I gave Julie a box of Mrs. Field's cookies (the little nibblers) and then Lady Di & I made dinner, she made rice pilaf and sauteed asparagus and I made broiled lobster tails and the lobster came out perfect, it was very tasty dipped in melted butter. we just had a quiet dinner together at the table while Julie slept on the couch. it's funny because Lady Di makes these moaning sounds when she eats lobster, she loves it so much  ;D

they were delicious & came out good, the tails were a hit. first time I cooked them like that, very visually stimulating if I do say so myself. it was a nice time because we never have dinner together due to our schedules.

Since E. Blair Leighton is her favorite artist, and I found these paintings in an Antique store as a set, I figured why not?

well, Billy and I decided not to get something for each other this year...we never really made a big deal out of Valentine's Day except for getting a card.  but occassionally, I will get hime something anyway so I found a cute frame at Hallmark that said "This is love" which is what we always say when we're cuddling really close, so I thought that was perfect.  I gave it to him and he really seemed to like it.  He didn't get me anything... besides a card.  But he did manage to get himself a pair of shoes and a hat.  :(
