I'm far from expert with internet lingo, but as far as I can tell, the terms can be interchangeable.  Albeit there is the implied meaning that someone that starts alot of threads on nearly the same topic would be a thread whore (I guess) and someone that replies multiple times (over-excessive in some people eyes, but in my eyes, nearly every reply can be valid (it gives me something to read which I like), but anyways, back to my interpretation of what is implied with post whore...

I think she wants to know what the difference between a thread whore and a post whore was.  I don't really know why it's that darned important, as in my eyes, both terms tend to be dirogatory.  I'm far from expert with internet lingo, but as far as I can tell, the terms can be interchangable.  Albeit there is the implied meaning that someone that starts alot of threads on nearly the same topic would be a thread whore (I guess) and someone that replies multiple times (over-excessive in some people eyes, but in my eyes, nearly every reply can be valid (it gives me something to read which I like), but anyways, back to my interpretation of what is implied with post whore...
A post whore could/might be someone that replies multiple times and often in succession (almost like if you were talking to someone face-to-face, it would be like someone interrupting you many times and not letting someone get a word in "edge-wise") so-to-speak.

I hope that makes sense.  Having said that, I don't worry too much about what other people think of me.  I know I'm not going to please everybody all the time, and some people...well I probably annoy the heck out of just being me.  I think it takes all kinds to make this world go 'round, so we have at least try to be more tolerant of those that may...push our buttons.  At least in a perfect society it would be like that.

The terms used were originally from Adagio herself and I didn't have much of a real clue as to their meaning. I just gave (what I thought) what a joke answer (and not overly funny at that). :)

My point is if there is no pleasing the person that calls you it, then why worry about any derogatory thing they say towards you?  Either report it to the moderator (if you take it that seriously), or accept that there is no pleasing them and shrug it off, or if you want to fight them for calling you bad names then ask them to give you an example of where they think you are whatever they call you.

Personally, as I said above, I'm not worried about how people think of me.  There are billions of people in this world, most I will never meet, some I will talk to, many will be irritated with me no matter of what I say.  I just accept that.
