Big Ben, the bell in the Clock Tower at Palace of Westminster London, has been chiming over London from 150 years.

I've got a 8 inch Statue of Liberty souvenir on my desk that Lady Di got for me on a trip to New York. I would love to get a Big Ben one. Have you ever seen them?

Every tourist wishes to see the tower and hear the chimes.
Also the BBC still uses the sound of Big Ben from microphone in the tower as a live time check on the hour.

I love European Vacation... when they get caught in the roundabout, circling Big Ben over and over again!!! Hilarious! ;D

The first bell cracked not long after it was installed...
So another one was cast...which also cracked!
And this one is still being walloped today, albeit with not so much force!

The Whitechapel Foundry where the bell was casted is still in business today.

Heaven knows how, what with their shoddy workmanship!
The self same company also cast the Liberty Bell...and that's got a dirty great crack in it!
