I grew up near this generating station ....It was built in the late 50s & was demoed a few years back

Yeah that was a good one .I watched that when I found the Hydro vids....We have 3 nuclear plants in Ontario & they seem to be down more than in operation!.Sure they make power but , they can'yt produce it all...Ontario's coal plants account for the majority power & they burn the crappiest grade of coal!
When I worked at the Lampton GS , across the ST Clair river in Mich.The Edison coal plants had next to no viable traces they were even running!.They burn a high grade coal & had big scubbers to eliminate polution....In the town of Courtright no person could put laundry out on the line as white sheets would turn grey.Hydro spent 6 mill on a covered garage for employees as they had to pay to repaint the workers cars!
& to see this garage It would make you think who got a new boat & swimming pool out of the deal!
Ontario Hydro doesn't care cause it the taxpayers money.......They spent 660mill on SCR units for 2 of the 4 boilers & intend to close the plant next year!.WTF!!!!.Life is grand at the top!
Basically out MPPs are too embarased to admit they were caught with their pants down when it came to modernizing the provinces power needs.Why do we keep voting these bastards in?
Sometimes wish we'd get a FLA recount!
