Myself ... I could get into some form of poker .... given the right 'company'  ;)    ;D . I'm also partial to trivia pursuit / 'who wants to be a millionaire' type games.


With the Christmas season now upon us, I expect party games will be the order of the day, for some ?

my Mom likes to kick my butt at scrabble.

I love Trivia Pursuit especially the 80's version.

I also like chess.

We used to play a lot of board games but more recently the children like to play on the Wii.  ::)

When we do dig the games out we play Monopoly, Scrabble, Othello, Operation or Skirrid (amongst others).  We used to play a lot of Triv, Dingbats, MindTrap and Taboo before we had kids

I like that game....nobody will play with me, because I always beat them. ;D And Scrabble!!

as an only child I didn't get a whole lot of opportunities to play board games. 

I usually wound up playing myself.  Which is really hard because I can never decide which me I want to win  ;)

I really like TV & Movie Trivia games but no one will play with me. I may not have the most knowledge on these boards but I do know more than anyone I socialize with in the real world.

I also used to play pictionary and Trivial pursuit a lot..back about 15 years ago when I had friends who played games.

Monopoly of course,Sorry,Trouble,Uno,Gin Rummy, Canasta, Euchre,Tripoli,Yahtzee,Clue & Parcheesi were games I played when I was younger

my mother's friend did that. She was visiting someone and through the Wii-mote through the 42 in flat screen. She had to buy them a new one  ;D  Not really funny because it cost her a lot of money... she said the game wasn't THAT good  ;)


The wii remotes now come with a "jacket" put the jacket on the remote and wear the strap around your wrist and as long as you're standing further away from the tv than the wii strap then there is no threat to the tV... really you'd have to be on top of the tv for the remote to hit the tv while wearing the jacket.

Trivial Pursuit, Boggle, and Super Mario Bros. on my ancient Game Boy.

It's getting harder because friends have moved further away and the games I really like, it seems,
no one plays anymore. I like Playing Pinochle, single or double deck, 3 hand or partner. I
also like Mah Jong, the real Mah Jong with tiles. I like the video Mah Jong games too but
it's just not the same.

Sidenote, I don't go anywhere without my Gameboy Advanced and any one of the Poke'mon games.

At the moment, I like board games such as Scrabble and Monopoly. My favourite computer games right now are Wii Sports and Wii Fit. I have my own PlayStation 2 and PSP but the Nintendo Wii is for all housemates and staff.

When I go back to Nebraska to visit my parents, we always play card games like box, golf and Shanghai. And whenever we have a big family get-together during the holidays, we always play Catch Phrase.

yes Al, I do love to play poker, and the form of poker you're thinking of is probably the most fun. I primarily play Texas Hold Em' when it comes to sitting at a table with friends and playing for money, but on the computer I play many different types of poker games. Omaha Hi-Lo, Razz, Horse, Shoe.  Other games we play with our friends are Scene-It, Taboo, Tri-Bond, catch Phrase, Songburst and for some reason, it's always the wives against the husbands.  Julie & Diane still play Scrabble at least once a week. we still have all her children's board games put away in her closet. Julie & me used to play Pente and Mancala & she still has those but i forgot how to play them.

Games people play now, every night and very day now.

I was just playing some old Nintendo games on my PC from the 80's and 90's.

I bought young one a Wii for Christmas, can't wait to try that out.  :)
