Subject: Something in the water?

Written By: Tam on 01/22/09 at 11:52 am

Seriously?

I guess I must be ignorant to the ways of the internet world because I don't understand how one can go from being 'normal' to suddenly shytting where they eat! It doesn't make sense to me at all!

If someone can enlighten me, I would truly appreciate it, because right now - I am sitting in the dark!

Some of those "cliquish" people alerted me to it earlier.  I was absolutely referring to it when I used the term "suck."

And now I'll kiss your butt Tam, cause that's just how I roll.  :-* :-* :-*

^ Don't you know it is expected?  ;D

Seriously though, I get that some people just end up going off for one reason or another...

There are countless threads (albeit old ones) that I have been reading, and so many members have just suddenly lost it for what seems like absolutely no reason. And it always seems to be around the start of a new year - or the dead of the summer when there is nothing happening anywhere.

Even my own dog is acting all retarded - never eating her own feces before, she suddenly likes it! I have the stuff to put on her food thankfully, so it will deter her from eating it in the future. But that is just completely disgusting!

There has to be something in the water. ;D

Usually Herb and Jamaal’s primary mission is to suck all the fun and enjoyment out of the English language by making it as bland and nonspecific as possible, but I really like this new euphemism for masturbation that it’s introduced today. “I spent the evening in, ‘dating my shadow,’ if you know what I mean.”

I agree with Q, Tam.  I guess some people just can't do without the drama.  Sorry you have to be the one to deal with the fallout though.  Just remember that some of us appreciate what you do and how you do it.

i need that picture from Caddyshack when the caddies are swimming and the Judge's nephew Spalding see's the doodie in the water but it was really just a Baby Ruth candy bar  ::)

as for the drama and people acting strangely, who knows. one thing is that if drama is about someone that's been banned, then I can understand people reacting to that. I think for some it's like a grieving period for the loss of a friend. some people just need a bit of time to process things.

Yeah, sometimes for more than one reason. Anyway, I'm guessing I probably offended/irritated more than one person with a certain recent post of mine. To those people, I do apologize, and if they want to know the full "why" of it, please send me a PM and I'd be happy to explain myself, fwiw now.

No, they came to Rice and told him he had to walk a long ass way and he fragged all of them, every last one.

That's why he has a Casino on the South side now.

General Jack D. Ripper: Mandrake, do you realize that in addition to fluoridating water, why, there are studies underway to fluoridate salt, flour, fruit juices, soup, sugar, milk... ice cream. Ice cream, Mandrake, children's ice cream.
Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: Lord, Jack.
General Jack D. Ripper: You know when fluoridation first began?
Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: I... no, no. I don't, Jack.
General Jack D. Ripper: Nineteen hundred and forty-six. Nineteen forty-six, Mandrake. How does that coincide with your post-war Commie conspiracy, huh? It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? A foreign substance is introduced into our precious bodily fluids without the knowledge of the individual. Certainly without any choice. That's the way your hard-core Commie works.
Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: Uh, Jack, Jack, listen, tell me, tell me, Jack. When did you first... become... well, develop this theory?
General Jack D. Ripper: Well, I, uh... I... I... first became aware of it, Mandrake, during the physical act of love.
Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: Hmm.
General Jack D. Ripper: Yes, a uh, a profound sense of fatigue... a feeling of emptiness followed. Luckily I... I was able to interpret these feelings correctly. Loss of essence.
Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: Hmm.
General Jack D. Ripper: I can assure you it has not recurred, Mandrake. Women uh... women sense my power and they seek the life essence. I, uh... I do not avoid women, Mandrake.
Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: No.
General Jack D. Ripper: But I... I do deny them my essence.
