Wearing all in Green
good luck a shamrock brings .
catch a leprechaun,
and ask him for not a pot
but a heart of gold

Good wishes for all, especially my two friends Patricias

Hope everyone had a great day!!!

I learned some things today that I had never heard....do you know where the phrase "Saved by the bell" really came from?  Supposedly hundreds of years ago, the Irish would bury their dead in caskets and put a small hole in the top with a string and a bell hanging down inside the casket.  This was so that anyone who was actually not dead could ring the bell before being buried alive.  I guess it must have worked for at least one person!  See, it had nothing to do with Screech!

I was going to say the same was employed in the Victorian era in the UK, but see your reply the invention was in Germany, may be the Prince Albert brought the use of over during his time to his marriage to Queen Victoria.

Love to eat Raw Cabbage, my favorite is the Cabbage heart or core.  Yummy with a little salt.

I do not like my cabbage too much, or with any vinegar, I like the cabbage to be still a little firm if eating it cooked

Safety Coffin

Why thank you!  :)  That was very interesting reading!  And it actually says:

Saved by the Bell
Folk etymology states that the phrases "saved by the bell" and "graveyard shift" come from the use of safety coffins in the Victorian era. Neither etymology is true - the phrase "saved by the bell" comes from boxing and "graveyard shift" and "dead ringer" both date from the twentieth century.

And I was told the exact opposite and believed it.  Well, gotta go wash the word SUCKER off my forehead.  Then I got an Irishman to beat up.  ;D

Oh, and HELLO MR. BUNNY!  ;D
