Alright hi everyone! I'm writing this blog here on inthe00s because I'd like to share parts of my life with everyone in an enviorment where I feel it will be read. (My Myspace blog has tumbleweeds blowing through it)

Well first I'll tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Tiffeny, I'm 23 years old and live in Texas. I've lived here all my life. I'm an only child. (An NO I'm not spoiled) As many of you know, I am a huge fan of the King of Entertainment, Michael Jackson. I have been a a fan of him since I was 9 years old. But I want to express that Michael is not the sole the defining point of me. He's just a part of my interest. Sure, I enjoy his music and think he's cute, but he's not all to me. That'd make me a very dull lady.
I am also a retired beauty queen. I competed in pageants on and off from the time was 5 until I was 22. At the time I was ill and had to start dialysis. But even though I'm not actively competing anymore, I still do sketches of costumes and do train two sweet little girls named Kaitlin and Kara.
I also have a boyfriend named Dion and he is a real sweetie. We've been together since Valentine's Day. And he is a huge fan of Prince--another singer I enjoy. It also doesn't hurt that he does LOOK like Prince.  ;D
In addition to the coaching and sketching, I am also starting to write a book and I'm extremely excited about it. (It might be on shelves next year if I'm lucky enough to be published!)

I will be posting regularly and hopefully you'll get to know me better and please feel free to leave comments. I love to read comments.

;D

In the words of Prince,

Peace and B Wild!

I have several ideas for books, but the one that I like is set in the early 80s and deals with the lives of 5 adolescects<--I know I spelled that wrong! LOL. I'll post a new blog soon!

Hi Everyone!

Well it hasn't taken long before I've gotten something crazy out my life to write about.  ;D And as usual, it centers around a silly little stunt that my boyfriend Dion decided to pull. Now as some of you know, Dion is an extremely devoted fan of Prince and is incredibly inspired by him, and often on his off days, wears outfits similar to his. (Today was an off day) Today was of no exception. Dion called me earlier today and invited me to go with him to get a hamburger at a local mom and pop type place, called Hamburger Depot. I wasn't going to say no, because I love the food from there.
So about 20 minutes later, Dion's car pulls up outside my house. You can't miss it. It's a green Toyota that is ALWAYS playing Prince tunes. LOUD. Tune of choice today was DMSR.

So I get in and Dion is dressed cute. He was wearing this nice red silk blouse and some black slack. Had his litltle symbol chain on. Dude reeked of Prince. And more than a few people stared at him when we got to the Depot. (But people do usually stare)

Everything was fine until we were ready to leave the Depot after eating. The air conditioner in Dion's car chose then to die. And it was terrible because it was like 95 degrees in the shade here in Texas.
We rolled down the windows and everything but it was still hot as blue blazes in the car and next to me, Dion was really starting to sweat and ruin his blouse.
For some reason, the song DMSR was still playing as we got to a red light at a very busy intersection. I didn't care. I was hot and wanted to go home.

I'm still not all quite sure what happened.

Over the speakers, Prince sang "...strip right down to your undewwear..."

And the next thing I knew Dion had flung his door open and was standing there, yanking his shirt and trousers off. People were blaring horns and pointing and laughing.  :-\\
A moment later, he got back in, wearing, his socks, shoes and purple boxers.  ;D I just looked at him lie he was crazy.
We didn't say anything for a while, just rode along like it was nornal for him to be driving in his undies.
At the next red light, I decided to bug him.
Remaining very cool, I said to him, "I thought Prince didn't wear underwear" (which is true)
He just started laughing.
But he did have to get dressed before he came into my house.  ;D

And that's not the first time Dion has stripped down in public when it got hot. He's done it three other times once getting a ticket for it.  ;D
Just a wild story from my life.  8) You won't catch me stripping. I'd rather sweat away into a puddle first. LOL.
Tomorrow is dialysis-- :(--and something funky always happens there. LOL.

More to come.

Hi Everyone.

Okay this has been a really off day for me. It all started early this morning when I had a strange dream, I dreamt that I was competing against Apollonia in a beauty pageant and I must have lost because I THREW Apple off stage.  :o But it was probably my fault anyway, because yesterday my friend Kelly and I spent about 2 hours on one of her websites making fun of her outfits. I do like Apple, but the woman's fashion sense is strange. Most of her outfits are tacky, I hate to say and she kind of comes off looking like a Streetwalker.  :( I'd like to be her fashion coodinator to help her out.

http://i43.tinypic.com/zn6c2a.jpg

You don't wear THAT to a red carpet event.  ;D

But I digress, back to my off day. So today, I had to go to my dialysis treatment because as some of you know, my kidneys have decided to jump ship on me. Anyway, I usually take treatment for about 4 hours and the blood comes and goes through the little cathether that goes from outside my body and into my chest and my heart. (It hurt liek hell when they put it in--more on that later) And mostly what dialysis does is takes the place of my kidneys and filters out my blood and takes the toxins out. It also eliminates alot of fluid--I lost 8 pounds of water weight. But the thing is, if too much fluid is taken too quickly, I can get muscle cramps or have shortness of breath.

And today must have been my "lucky" day because I got both.  >:( It started with a cramp in my left shin and kind of went downhill from there. As I was bending over and trying to massage the cramp out--I get the cramps alot--my entire chest just tightened up and I could not breathe at all.  :o And it was very scary and I just started like screaming for a nurse, any nurse and even the man next to me being treated started calling for one. Finally a nurse ran over to me and hooked me to the oxygen machine.
In about 10 minutes I was fine but it was scary. I do suffer from asthma so I know what it's like to want to breathe and can't.

But I am okay now thank goodness and the doctors are saying I'm responding to my treatment well, so I am happy and thankful for that.

This is a picture of the catheter I have in my neck. It doesn't really bother me all that much now.

More to come y'all1  ;D

Hey Y'all!

This is my third post and I feel that I should dive in and share more of my interest with you. And Quelle Suprise!, this post is not about Michael Jackson. You won't find Prince's little purple booty in this post either.  ;D
As some of you know, I have a penchant for old movies--the ones before color, and some before sound!--and I just adore alot of the old actors and actresses of the era. James Stewart, Cary Grant, Joan Crawford, Norma Shearer...the list is out the door. But in this post,I'd like to talk of the man in my signature at the moment--Mr. Cary Grant. (Real name: Archibald Leech!  :o )

I got into Cary Grant, like many of the stars I like today, by accident. (Like nearly everyone I like.)
Since I love old films, I do log alot of time over watching Turner Classic Movies--since AMC has all but gone to movie hell--and about a year ago, I saw them advertising for a movie starring Katherine Hepburn called The PHilidelpiha Story. Now at the time, I only knew Katherine as one of Michael Jackson's friends in the 80s and hadn't really seen any of her films. But in the advertistment, they showed her arguing with a man as she kicked him out thier house and he came back angrily and drew back a fist. I thought he was gonna deck her for sure. But he didn't, Instead he grabbed her by the face and threw her down.
I was intrigued and thought it was hilarious (though obviously domestic violence is not a laughing matter) and tuned into the movie. I was happy to see that Jimmy was in the movie also, but what caught my attention over Jimmy for a scant moment was the man that threw Katherine on her butt in the start of the film--Cary Grant. Now I had heard loosely of Cary over the years but didn't really have an idea who he was.
But I loved him in The Philidelphia Story. He was handsome, charming and witty. And my favorite term to describe him--dashing.
And it just spawned from there. When I like an actor, I try to see as many of thier films as I can and in a short span of time, I've seen such greats as "The Awful Truth", "Charade" (when I discovered in color he had hazel eyes) , "North by Northwest" and "To Catch a Thief"
And Cary always came acorss the same, just extremely smart and silver tongued with a tan that wouldn't quit. Sure in later years he looked like shoe leather, but in the early years he was the en vouge man. Everyman wanted to be like Cary and if you couldn't emulate him to some extent you weren't (bleep).  ;) I've never seen Cary look bad. He was always well groomed and dressed nicely. I once referred to Prince as a "small suntanned Cary Grant". (Prince did show his purple booty here, didn't he? LOL)

But men like Cary do appeal to me. I like men who are well dressed and well groomed and do take care of themselves. I mean a guy doesn't have to live in a spa getting manis and pedis--heck I bite my own nails!--but I do like to see a guy with his trousers at his natural waist and in clothes that do fit him. That's why I do like old movies. I understand it's a time that has gone by, but I do miss the time when a man wouldn't be seen downtown unless he had a suit on complete with a tie and hanky in the breatpocket. When a man would call you "miss" and open doors for you. I occasionaly get a door closed on me now.  >:(
Maybe I'm a dreamer. Maybe I was born too far behind the times. I don't know. I just don;t like to see anyone looking unkept and tacky. (Well Apollonia is an exception, she makes me laugh) And I'm not a superficial person, I truly am not. I suppose my standards are different from other people's. It's just the way I was raised. I grew up on Laurel and Hardy (who though were idiots, always wore suits and hats), The Three Stooges, and a whole barrage of 60's television. (though I was born in 1986!) I just appreciate a well groomed person and it didn't hurt at all that Cary was handsome.
The sole reason I like Geroge Clooney was because I realized he looked like Cary.  :o Google George. you'll see my point. Even in his later years when Cary took on the look of your kinldy grandfather, you could still a hint of his sensuality just below the surface.  :) I don't only like him and find him attractive, I respect the man.

Cary Grant 1904-1986 (I was 6 months old when he died)

Cary was a wonderful actor and I wish I could have met him.

Hey Y"all!

So today was actually kind of boring.  :-\\ All I did today was go to Dunkin Donuts with my friend Becky for breakfast and we came back to my place to watch old movies on TCM. We're watching the end of Platinum Blonde with Jean Harlow right now. Well I've been half watching it, I was busy online looking at Rudolph Valentino. Not that I don't like Jean, it's just Rudy was there, I was there... ;D
Anyway, the real drama happened last night. Once again, I had a falling out with Dion on the same tired subjact. Dion is just convinced that I should spend every wakig moment practigcing and every weekend on some stage at a pageant somewhere around the country.  Now don't get me wrong, I enjoy a good pageant and love performing, but it's just a priority at the moment for me. I cant exactly wear my pink strapless ballgown with a little catheter coming out my neck. And since Max Factor hasn;t invented anything to hide it yet, I can't cover it up. Dion just seems to go into idiot mode about pageants and says he'd find a dress to cover it, but honestly, I don't care to compete. I mean sure, its fun and all, but I'm not in the mood for getting up at 6 am and getting smeared with cosmetics and having my hair pulled with a mllion bobby pins. Not to mention the cloud of hairspray that chokes me.  ::) Dion kind of deflated when I turned him down for yet another pageant. (He searches for them ALL the time. )

And when I said no to the pageant, Dion launched into another little delusion of his--modeling. He thinks I can be a plus-sized model. I looked at th models. I don't have a snowball in hell's chance as a plus model or any other kind of model, I don't think. And once again, unless I'm doing a spread for Dialysis Digest   Not that I don't appreciate that he thinks that highly of me, I just don't see it. I don't think the little doodad in my neck will be appreciated. I guess Dion is a little more superficial than me.

What am I saying? The man is vain. I know he's vain.  ;D He's the only man I know who carries a compact mirror on him at all times to check his appearance. And when he forgets it, he looks in the tinted windows of cars to assess his looks. Maybe it's because he's only 5'7'' tall, maybe he didnt get enough attention as a child ( he has a twin sister) I'm not sure. But I know that his looks are of the optimum importance. I'm waiting to see if he'll stoop so low as to get Botox one day.

Now don't get me wrong, Dion is sweet and kind to me, but he's so darn high strung, if he sneezes his undies will pop!  :o But I know it stems from his Prince complex. Prince is arrogant. That I know. Anyone with eyes can see Prince is arrogant and Dion likes to emulate that to a point where I wanted to slap both of them.

But I'm slipping away from my point. My pageants days or over. The only way I'll compete now, is if Michael Jackson is emcee. I don't really see that happening any time soon, do you? LOL. Didn't think so.

Hey Y'all!

I know I haven't posted a new blog in a few days and it's not because I was being lazy. LOL. You may find this hard to beleive, but earlier this week, I had to go to the hospital again for surgery.  :o I'll explain what happened. The whole thing started Tuesday morning. Every Tuesday, I go for my Dialysis treatment and as many of you know, I had a catheter in my neck for the treatment. Well on Tuesday, i weas sitting in my chair getting ready for my treatment and part of it consis ts of my nurse changing the bandgades on it. Now 2 stitiches held the little catherter in my neck and a couple weeks ago, one of the stictches came loose. It must have been my unlucky day because the other one popped loose, the catheter slipped out and I bled all over one of my favorite shirts.  >:( So while nusrses were running and trying to stop the bleeding, they called the hospital and set me up to go and have another catheter put it.  >:( Which I hate.
I don't like the have catherters put in becase when  I got the fisrt one, I felt EVERYTHING and was fully awake during the procedure.  >:(
So my father came and got me and took me to the hospital.  I fought with a nurse for about 30 minutes before she put my IV in--I hate needles--and I put on a hospital gown and got wheeled down to the OR. Now I was supposed to get worked on and sent back to dialysis that afternoon. Not so.
I was talking with the surgeon and he put some giggle juice in my IV that was supposed to "relax" me. I don't know if I was supposed to go to sleep or what, but I just got a little dizzy and stayed alert which freaked the doctor out. When he say I was still awake, he said he couldn't go the surgery and sent me back to my room.
So the next morning, a nurse came and put another IV in me and later that morning I was whelled to pre-op to talk with another surgeon. This time, he assured me that I would go to sleep and my surgery would take about 3 hours. Because he'd put the cathter in and also a fistula in my left wrist.
In the meantime, a nurse came with a little brown bottle that looked like an insulin bottle. I remember picking it up and seeing that it was on a quarter full with liquid. And I asked her if that was really going to put me to sleep. All I remember is her injecting it and saying it would take a few minutes to work.
I woke up about 5 hours later back in my room with my father sitting there and my baby doll Nooney tucked in with me!The surgery was completely done. And aside from a sore neck and wrist, I'm fine. I'm just a little pissed at my doctor because he cut me FOUR TIMES in my chest before he located a vein to put my catherter in, so I look like I lost a knife fight.  >:(
In hindsight, I'm glad that I did get it done, because I'd be extremely sick if I didn't do it. I just kept praying that everything woul dbe okay and it is. I mean I had surgery TWO DAYS ago and I'm up and playing on the computer and back to life as usual.

Now that's a blessing!  ;D More to come. And feel free to ask me about my surgery. I don't mind.  :)

Holy Cow!... glad everything is okay now... that's something else...

I hate needles too... I also have a high tolerance for medication and a low, low (extremely low) pain thresh hold... I had carpal tunnel surgery and they kept me awake... I wouldn't let them inject me so they gave me vicadin.  the nurse came with one.... I said I need three.. she said you get one.. I explained the medication to pain ratio...she said I'll give you two.. I said I need three... she gave me two...

fast forward to the doc cutting into my hand and I jump he said you shouldn't be able to feel that... I said I can (bastard- I thought that part) the nurse looked at me and said I guess I should have given you three... I said "no sh!t"  ::)

anyway.... it doesn't compare to your experience.. I just wanted to share!  ;)

Hey Y'all! So today has been a pretty tiring one. This is the first time since I've left the hospital that I've gone to dialysis and it was a truly rought time. So like I said before, I look like I lost a knife fight, and my chest is super sore and tender. Everytime I go into dialysis, my nurse, Vickie, has to clean and dress the wound. Which hurt.  >:( SO I got to wriggle in agony for a good ten minutes. Some people like to have scabs plucked off, I'm NOT one of those people. I was already tired because I couldn't get comfortable to sleep in my bed last night, and then I had Vickie picking in my chest. LOL. And if that wasn't bad enough, for some reason the little tubes weren't clearing properly and even after I got movied to a different machine it was still acting up. We're not sure what's wrong. The head nurse, Jimmie said that it might just be some swelling from the post-op or there might be a crack in the catheter. I personally think it's swelling because I took dialysis in the hospital on Thurday and had no problems at all. But if the catheter is damaged, I'll have to have more surgery to have it replaced. AGAIN.  >:( I left treatment about mid-way through because the catherter was being an ass.

So after I left, I called Dion and let him know what was going on and he was really sweet about it. He treated me to a little bit of shopping. I just wonder how he got a hold of his father's credit card.  ::) I know the last time he had it, his father almost beat him because Dion went crazy on eBay and blew 1200 dollars on Prince crap.  ??? I just got a little bit of clothes. Nothing wild. I just hope Dion gives it back.  Lately he's been talking about getting a guitar like Prince played in Purple Rain.

http://www.geocities.com/prince_guitars/hohner_2.jpg

He wants else the Hohner (left) or the White Cloud (right) He already has a purple symbol guitar he got for his birthday. (and all he can play is twinkle twinkle litte damn star! )
I just smile at him and hold his hand and act happy while he's having his delusions of Prince granduer. Eventually the purple bubble will burst and he'll realize he a regular joe from Texas. Until then, I let him act. SO long as he doesn't try to dress me like Apollonia, we're good.  ;) I don't mind his input on clothes, but when it goes into Tacky City, it's over. LOL.

Well more to come.  Right now, I'm sitting on my butt watching Spongebob with Dion. LOL.

Those aren't Dion's guitars. He just has a purple symbol guitar. But he does have it on display in his bedroom. (with all his other Prince junk) No one can touch that guitar. I plucked a string and got screamed atl LOL. I think Dion would even hit Prince if he touched it.  ;D Part of me just wants to do like The Who and just break the guitar...then I realize I don't have the five grand to replace it.  :-\\ Dion's parents must REALLY love him to have bought him that! Hey Y'all!

I don;t know how your Saturday night went, but mine went to Hades pretty early.  :( It all started happening after my last blog post actually. I wrote that Dion and I were watching Spngebob. So eventually we got bored with Spongebob, and Dion popped in a Prince movie. Under the Cherry Moon. So we were sitting on the couch in my den, reciting the lines along with the movie and I noticed about mid-way through the film--for those who have seen it, it was arond the scene where Prince leaves the champange glasses outside his lover's home--I noticed that my chest was starting to hurt. At first I thought it was just because I had been laughing hard at the film, but it just seemed to be getting worse and I was having trouble breathing. Not wanting alarm Dion, who was in the middle of acting out the film, I merely told him I wanted to go lie down in my room. He said alright and asked if I wanted anything. I just told him to be quiet.
So I went to my room and laid down with my fan on High, trying to get my breath back. It became clear to me that I was having an asthma attack--and I had no inhaler!  :o-- I needed help. I was lying there, literally gasping for air. So I called for Dion and he came running. When he saw how bad I looked, he raced off to find my father, who was outside working on his truck.
We all piled into my car and drove off to the closest hospital.
I got checked in and everything and that's when the hell started. We were in a little room and a nurse came and took my vitals. Then they hooked me up to an oxygen tank for a breathing treatment. (I was glad it didn't contain steroids, because I'm allergic to those and have muscle spasms when I get them)  In the meantime, the nurse so cleverly deduced that I was a dialysis patient and had blood drawn to check my potassium levels. Lucky me..it was high.  >:(

So then I had to drink some disgusting ass liquid that was brown and tasted sickly sweet--just thinking of it makes me want to vomit--and I almost threw up when I drank it.  So then we had to sit for TWO HOURS while the crap worked. As bad as it tasted it should have cured ALL my ailments. So while I was still cringing, I got taken for a chest X-ray. Which was a major discomfort because I had to remive my Michael Jackson pin on my blouse and my bra--which was strapless and takes me a good ten minutes to get into in the morning!  >:( So after the X-ray I got to wrestle with it in the tiny ladies room and threw myself into the door three times in process.
I go tback to the room. While I was gone, my father's friend Bootnanny (his real name is Herbert, he got that strange nickname while he was in the army) had come to see what was going on. So we're sitting there just wasting time. I must have apologized a good 10 times for wasting thier time. My dad was just like they have to see what's going on with me.

I was also extremely hungry because the HOURS were ticking by and all I'd had to eat was english muffin at like 10 am! And sitting there, I watched 10 PM come and go.  >:( It was boring, there was no TV. Dad and Bootnanny talked amongst themselves and Dion was busy hugging me. At some point, he pulled out a tiny can of hairspray and was doing his hair... :-\\ Not sure where it came from. I didn't care.  I was able to breathe and just wanted to leave and get food.
Then I had blood drawn a SECOND time which hurt like all hell and the nurse kept bobbing the damn needle in the vein to make the blood flow and I almost slapped him. Not to mention I did scream when it went in!
SO that was another hour to wait for the blood results and I hadn and EKG or EEG or whatever the sam hill you call it.  >:( Dion dozed off, curled up on the floor and I was sitting with my cell phone looking at Ebay. I didn't care. I wanted to go.
FINALLY the doctor came in and said my bloodwork looked good and handed me my prescription for my inhaler. Well it wasnt a doctor. it was a "nurse practioner"  >:(
I happy to get out of there and the first place we went to was What-a-burger and I got a double burger and onion rings. After all I went through, Michael Jackson should have danced out the bag and personally fed me!

I hope I don't see the inside of a hospital for a LONG time, unless I'm watching a rerun of ER!

Hey Y'all!

Alright! So Prince came on the Jay Leno show last night, and I have to say, I was pleased. Very pleased. Now please don't ask me what Princey sang because I don't really know. My ears went on vacation the second I saw him. I just don't understand it. Prince is 50 years old--he'll be 51 in a little over a week. And the man looked positively FLAWLESS.  :o I just can't understand how a man can be that damn pretty at that age. Prince was slick in a glittery silver/black tunic and black slacks. Alright, I have to call Prince on that jacket because I have a feeling Michael Jackson was somewhere naked when Prince wore that because, I could have seen Michael in it more than I could have seen Prince in it. But it did look nice on him. Made his olive skin pop. And I have to say that for the first time in a few months, Prince's hair looked GOOD!  ;D It seemed gelled down in place and I could bounce quarters off it, but it was nice.
And I know that you're wondering how my purple obsessed boyfriend took the appearance.

The man was looney.

The Jay Leno show airs at 10:35-11:35 PM here. (Prince played the last 5 minutes). Dion showed up at my house at 5:30 PM, dressed in a Prince t-shirt, black slacks and carrying a tambourine with Prince's symbol on it.  ::) We proceeded to spend the next 10 minutes arguing about why I wasn't wearing one of my Prince shirts. (I had on a simple black tee) I finally went and put on one of my shirts. You'd have sworn Prince was coming over to do some jams on my frint porch.
We spent the next few hours until Prince came on watching his vidoes and movies--it was an unnoficial holiday. We even acted out Purple Rain word for word LOL. Around 9 PM, the rest of our friends started showing up and we ordered a couple of pizzas and just kicked back waiting for the show to come on. It's funny, none of my other friends are as heavy into Prince as I am but when the man comes on tv, they are there in full force.
When FINALLY Prince came on, I actually didn't hear him, because I was half star stuck by his looks, and then my friend Becky was screaming like the man had just walked in the room!  >:( But just the same, it was nice to see him...I could just look at Prince until my eyes hurt. I know I couldn't hold a decent conversation with him because...well there's not that much depth to him that I can see...but he does make my eyes happy.  ;D
I just think that's funny. I only really like Prince because he's pretty. Like I can talk and go on about Michael Jackson and how I understand him and all that jazz, but with Prince, it's pretty superficial. I mean the music and guitars are nice, but it is really based on his looks... :( Dion knows that I like Prince mainly for his appearance and he once asked me if Prince went bald like his father would I still like him?

And I think my entire collection would be on ebay--for a fair price of course--should Prince become a cue ball.  ;) (I'm  kidding!) Part of me thinkls that Dion is worried that I won't like Prince anymore and will stop liking him because he favors Prince. (and no I won't. Dion is a sweetie and his appearence is just a bonus!) But let's be honest, at nearly 51, Prince must be going steady with a Botox needle, or he's sold his soul to the devil to look that wonderful.  :-*

But I mean I must be in it with Prince for the long haul. I mean I survived the name change, the plug being shaved out the side of his head, and Prince wearing flip flops. He's my little guilty pleasure.

;D

And don't forget to post questions in my threads! Thank you!

EDIT: Found a pic of Prince from the show!

Hey Howard.

Nope Princey doesn't appear to age. And like I said, unless he's dipping his naked form in a hidden fountain of youth every morning, he's probably good friends with the Botox needle. Though my friend Becky thinks he's taking extremely good care of himself--eating right and excersising and all that. That maybe true, but I think my theory is funnier.  ;)

Howard, dear. I think at 100, Prince will look the same as he did when he was 30.  :o But I have seen a high quality pic of him and his skin looked like leather.

http://i41.tinypic.com/2i28rhy.jpg

This was taken at a basketball he atteneded last year and his face does look a little rubbery. Now I'n not sure what caused that appearance because I'm not his make up artist. Maybe he had some left over stubble and his foundation fell in it...he's a little too old for acne....but his skin texture seemed a bit off. He still looked pretty though...he always looks pretty.  :D

Hi Everyone!

Okay, Howard has brought it to my attention that Prince doesn't seem to age. And I spend a decent chunk of my time watching Prince and looking at his pics. And I have to agree that Prince's looks haven;t really waned in about 20 years. And this isn't the first time the topic has come up. A few weeks ago, I went out for ice cream with my friends Becky and Diana (Dion's twin sister) So we're sitting in a place called Maggie Moos sharing a sundae and just having girl talk--latest make up trends, celebrity gossp--the usual. The conversation origianlly started when Diana brought up how she couldn't stand Apollonia (she really cant, and Dion is in love with her lol) and that it was amazing how Apollonia seemed to look so flawless when she was almost 50 years old. And it was a shame that her fashion sense was in the garbage can. (I said that LOL) Anyway, Becky, with a mouthful of chocolate sauce managed to get out--

"Isn't it effed up how Prince doesn't seem to age?"

And so the conversation began. We quickly escalated from how pretty and attractive Prince was to just how in the blue hell was doing it? How was he staying to ageless and flawless. We came up with several--hilarious--ideas.

--He went steady with a Botox needle (the most popular one)
--He slept on a block of ice to "freeze" his appearance. The man does live in Minnesota and he always seems to have an ICY demeanor!
--He washed in the blood of virgins. (I spit ice cream across the table at that.)  But Diana, who introduced the idea pointed out that Prince ALWAYS kept company with women who were less than half his age.
---He sold his soul to the devil sometime in the 1990s.
--Which led to Becky claiming that he might just BE the devil!  :o (I really don't think so...)

And this was my favorite.

--Prince wasn't "Prince" but a clone that was spawned sometime around the time they started cloning sheep. I had to leave the table and step outside I was laughing so hard. You know it's funny when you actually have to lie down on the sidewalk and catch your breath!  ;)

But I mean we're just curious. I mean Michael changed his looks, but he was kind enough to tell a half-truth about it. Prince stays quiet about it.

We can wonder, it's not like if I met Prince, I'd go and grab on his face or anything.  ;)

I was being funny with my friends because I'm always a clown, but my personal opinion is that Prince probably just takes really good care of himself, as boring as it sounds. He does tend to be a little vain and if Dion is ANY indication of the real thing, Prince probably eats right, works out occasionally, and just keeps his skin moisturized. I mean you gotta fill those wanna-be wrinkles with something.

Now  that I think about it, Dion doesn't eat THAT well. He puts those triple meat-triple cheese burgers from Whataburger away like they're going out of style!  ;D

But maybe it'll eventually come out. And I'd be front row center so I can relay the info. Of course.  ;)

But let's remember, his face is one thing, his BODY is a totally different matter. And I've seen some changes in that body, but I'm not one to split hairs like that.  8) (but if you wanna know what I've spotted, just ask.)

PS--You nothing exciting happened to me today if I'm talking about a man's SKIN!

I don't know if it's botox... it could just be all that good melanin in his skin...  (maybe a littile in the forehead...maybe...

that saying black don't crack didn't come from no where...... too often people look at me in disbelief when I say I'm 41.  The grey hair is finally helping but not much...

Hey Y'all!

@Snoz: Don't go blaming it on the make up. Cause I have seen Prince w/o make up.  :o That was a bad day. And Prince looked pissed to high heaven in the pic. I know it's strange for most men to wear cosmetics, but Prince is a man that needs to roll out of bed, put on that purple robe, shower, and fall into his make up box. Not saying he's ugly, because he did hit the genetic jackpot and makes me forget my name if he glances up the right way, but the make up does help.

And why does everyone keep mentioning Dorian Gray? LOL. They were talkimg about that same thing on the Prince board.  ;D

Hey Y'all.

Okay, so I know that my last blog sparked alot of controversy about Prince's looks. (Controversy, get it?) But today, most of my conversations seemed to revlove around my favorite fashion victim--Apollonia. It all started earlier today when I was at my friend Momo's house. (real name--Morgan) Morgan is my friend Becky's younger cousin and is 15. And like the rest of us "bigger" girls, she does like Prince. And like most teenagers, she looks to the women the man she likes kicks it with. And instead of clamping onto Bria, or Shelia E or Carmen Electra, she singled out Apollonia as her Prince go-to girl.  ::) I'm not sure how that happened exactly, but she saw Purple Rain with us once and was gone. She really does admire Apple and last year, she even dressed as her.

Now I'm not sure where that came from, but she looks to Apollonia for fashion (pardon me, I'm crying from laughter) and things of the sort. And I didn't know this until today. Like i said i was at her house, because her mother would like to start putting her in pageants and wanted me to coach her. So there I was in the denof Momo's house, and we were on the computer supposedly looking for pageant dresses for her. As soon as her mom left the room, she went to an Apollonia fan club on Yahoo--I must admit, I'm a part of several for the laughs--and started pointing out different outfits that she liked. And I would LOVE to share those with you. Now she is only 15, so she has room to grow and learn what NOT to wear!

http://i42.tinypic.com/f3vzb7.jpg

This number. Now I promise you, no one who spoke to Apple that could tell you what color her eyes were. But ask them how many freckles were on her bosom and  they'd be able to tell you.

http://i39.tinypic.com/2uh5r39.jpg

Somewhere in the world. Michael Jackson is missing his Billie Jean jacket.

http://i43.tinypic.com/29w30k0.jpg

Another red carpet event. And I saw everyone ELSE in suits and corparate attire and she was there in a sequin cami. That's cool for hanging at the mall...but come on! The coloring is cute, but that's about it .

http://i39.tinypic.com/vgt3c.jpg

Once again, she raidied Michael Jackson's closet. I have that same hat. Reserved for his birthday ONLY.

http://i44.tinypic.com/2rejpg5.jpg

Yes, her purse says "B****"  :-\\

And the one that put me under the table. She kept raiding Michael's closet and it seems she shook a branch loose from his family tree:

http://i41.tinypic.com/qrgbnn.jpg

Yup, that's Latoya with her.  :o If Latoya Jackson is dressed better than you---here's the rope, you know what to do. LOL.

But I dont want to come across as a catty, evil girl. There is one Apollonia outfit that I would LOVE to have:

http://i44.tinypic.com/4j7md.jpg

I absolutely ADORE that fur she has on. And I even called the place she bought it from. I went into cardiac arrest when they told me price of it. LOL. But it looks nice.

So I'm not completely mean. It's just I think Apollonia is a pretty lady with the potential to dress REALLY well and she's just not reaching her full potential. If she's dresseing to be noticed, she kinda doesn't have to. If you chest bounces in and 5 minutes later the rest of you follows...you kinda already have an "in". And it's just wild to me that Momo wants to dress as scandalously as that, but alright. I went through a an black clothing rocker stage when I was 15. By the time she's 18, she might think differently. I don't know. LOL. Now I won't lie, I do dig some of the stuff Apple wore in the 80s, but the 80s is my thing!

I promise my blog tomorrow won't have a thing to do with anything purple. I'm going to Houston and should have fun.  ;D

@Howard.: Karma for the Joan Rivers bit. I loved that. I dunno, some fans have a strained relationship with Latoya after what happened in 1993.  >:(  I hold no grudges, but I would feed her with a long handled spoon. I wouldn't get THAT close to her. Tito maybe, but not her. I don't want to get into it about what she did, but if inquiring minds want to know, I will tell.

Gosh,  I haven't seen LaToya in years!  YIKES!  :o

I remember all the publicity she got when she released that book about her family many years ago.  I think it was called "Growing Up in the Jackson Family".  I never read that book, but boy was I angry at her back then!  >:(

Hey Gang!

@Michael C. : ;)

@Howard: If I'm right, I think Latoya is 2 years OLDER than Michael, so she's like 52 or 53 years old now. I saw a picture of her in Jet magazine recently and she and Apollonia could be shooping buddies. Both are "mature" women but still dressing like they're my age. And I'm not sure what Rebbie is doing. I assume she's doing okay. Her only son Austin has graduated high school and is trying to launch a singing career. But just about ALL the Jackson kids are attempting song careers.

@Coqueta: Don't even get me started on that book. It's one of the biggest works of FICTION from what I've heard from people who have actually read it. I'm not so really pissed about the book, I'm pissed about what she said about Michael in 1993. The book just kinda poured kerosene on the fire. I just don't understand her. I kind of understand where she's coming from--the only Jackson that can't do anything, but she didn't need to go out on a limb like that. People have said that she said those evil things about Michael because her then husband was abusing her, but NOBODY would be able to make a fist big enough to make me slander my own brother! And Latoya has SIX damn brothers, they could have tag teamed that guy and made him stop hitting her.  >:( If I had a half dozen brothers and someone was hitting me, my backyard would turn into the ECW.

:) Now see, I make fun of Apollonia, but I really do like her because I think she's a nice person. Latoya... :-\\ I could be polite to her, just because I'm a polite person. And she's Michael's sister, so I kind of have to be polite. I don't want Michael to  >:( <---look like that at me.

I'll be posting a new blog soon. I just got out of dialysis today, so please forgive me, I am a little drained.

I was only blaming the make up in that particular pic you posted.....

did you miss this:

I don't know if it's botox... it could just be all that good melanin in his skin...  (maybe a littile in the forehead...maybe...

that saying black don't crack didn't come from no where...... too often people look at me in disbelief when I say I'm 41.  The grey hair is finally helping but not much...

Hi Gang!

@ Snoz: I suppose you're right about the black dont' crack stuff. My mom was 57 when she went to heaven and she BARELY had any greys at all. And my father is 82 and people think he's in his 50s.  :o But it would make me a feel a little better to see Prince showing some signs of aging. I mean his face doesn't have to slide like hot silly putty, but maybe a laugh-line or something. I mean damn, the man's face is smooth as glass.

@Howard: I'm not sure what his standing on it are. He might use it, I don't know. I don't care really. As long as he continues to look good to me, that's all that matters.  ;)

Man have I had one heck of a day today.  :o And of course, you can bet that my Dion was at the center of all the drama. LOL.  It all started a few hours ago. The Twins (Dion and Diana) and I went to a local Whataburger to get lunch. It all really started innocently enough. Diana and I were sitting there and watching Dion drowning in a triple meat-triple cheese burger. I don't know why he always eats those. He keeps it up, he'll look like a sumo wrestler.  :( SO Diana and I were talking amongst ourselves and eventually our conversation got onto Prince's appearance on the Jay Leno Show. So I said something about how nice Prince looked and Diana pointed out that she'd noticed that Prince had changed the shape of his eyebrows. (She's in beauty school and she DOES notice junk like that) Diana went on to explain that his brows were now arched as opposed to rounded.

Dion finally climbed away from his dead cow on a bun long enough to ask if we thought he should arch his brows since Prince's were arched. (His were rounded  :-\\ )  I didn't really care, he looked cute anyway. So on the spot, Dion decided he would arch his brows. I didn't think too much about it. There's like 20 nail places around town that also arch brows. He could have been in and out and ten minutes if he so chose.

He didn't "chose".

Instead, Dion annouced that he was going to take matters into his own hands and do it himself. Diana did offer, but he turned her down cold flat. (The last time Diana tried to do some cosmetology work on her borhter, his hair came out GREEN!)
So I didn't say anything. I went back with my friends to thier house and Dion got into his bathroom, poised with a set of tweezers.

To make a long story short, in about 30 minutes, Dion whittled ALL his eyebrows away.  ;D
I mean his eyebrows were gone and all lying in his sink. I haven't heard cursing like that in years.  ::)

I was lying in the bathtub laughing and his sister was just staring like he was crazy.

Finally when Dion got done raising heck, his sister came and penciled his brows in for him. And now he's gonna have to pencil them in until they grow back. My poor sweetie.  :D

Just another day in the life...and trust me, that not the craziest stunt he's ever pulled. LOL.

@Michael: Thanks. That's cool. I don't think E is ready for Dion. If they can't handle Prince, they can't handle him. And actually, Dion hates to be photographed. He read an old article that said Prince got "physically ill" when he has his photo taken and the man took it to heart. Hi Everyone!

Beleive it or not, today was actually kind of boring. Hehe (There goes my deal with E! for a new realty show!  ;D) Today I went to dialysis again and then I went over to Dion's house to meet with him and my friends. Tomorrow is Prince's 51st birthday and Dion is working himself into a lather. I can't blame him, I start planning the party for Michael Jackson a month before his birthday.  :-[ Dion pointed out that he was upset about the way the world seemed to "forget" Prince on his birthday last year when he turned 50, which is a milestone for anyone. None of the music stations here played any of his videos and he only got mentioned on that stupid Captial One Birtdhay mess on Entertainment Tonight.  >:( Same thing happened with Michael's, but I'm not going to get into that. Let's just say, I was less than pleased.

Anyway, we all sat on the floor in Dion's living room and planned out what videos of his we were going to watch and what we would eat. (We all pooled our money for a cake) and right now, somewherew across town, Dion is in his closet finding an outfit to wear. I personally find it amusing. Prince is a Jehovah's Witness and he no longer beleives in birthdays. So it's just a little strange to celelbrate it when Prince isn't even going to eat a cupcake in celebration. But he just better get up and kiss his make up artist for keeping him looking so resplendent at his age.  :) And maybe he should punch his hairstylist, but that's just a suggestion.

I'm very interested to see how Dion will behave tomorrow, because he really acted a "donkey" last year. Driving down the road blaring "My Name is Prince" earned him a ticket for disturbing the peace. Not to mention how later the same day he got kicked out of an ice cream shop for trying to get everyone to sing "Kiss".  :( Lemme pause, I'm trying to remember why I date him again.
LOL

Anyway, it should be fun and I like to watch Prince.  ;D I'll report on the party and if Dion manages to earn himnself another ticket. (Trust me, he's earned at least a dozen for sillyness since I've known him. LOL.)

I figure he'll keep playing music until he buys the proverbial farm.  :) And since the average life expactancy of an American male is in the 70s, Prince will pobably put out another 20 or so albums. I just wonder if at 70 he'll STILL be singing about bumping and grinding. And you know, talking about a woman and not osteoporosis.  ;D

Honey, I don't think Prince can see Prince with grey hair.  ;D

I'm an extremely visual person and for the longest time, I've had a particular image of Prince when it came to hair color. I can see him sitting on a chair with no shirt on, his hairstylist applying color to the hair on his head and him brushing something like Just for Men into his chest hairs. (notice they are ALWAYS black too?) LMAO. My friends cracked up when I told them that.  :) I just think it would be a laugh riot.  ;D

Hi Y'all!

Now I'm not one to usually double post on a blog this was just too much wait until tomorrow to share. But this hunk of jive-assery was too much. Just too much. As I mentioned earlier, Dion is all happy because his idol's birthday is tomorrow and all day (as with everyday) he's been calling me with different little ideas. So far since I left his house around 6 pm I've gotten about ten calls from him asking about his wardrobe, about mine...you'd swear Prince was gonna show up at his place tomorrow.  >:( Anyway, a few minutes ago, he calls me and asks me to go check my email. He sent me something.
So i went and looked. It was this picture:

http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn8/Intense2008/nudewz6.jpg

Which is nice. It's Prince on the Lovesexy tour. And then Dion asked me how I would like it if he had his hair like that tomorrow.  :o At the current time it's short like the Purple One's. Dion is planning to let his siter put clip in extensions in his hair. (Does he not remember when his hair was GREEN for a week?) Even though I think it's a good look, I'm worried about Dion. The last time he wore his hair long, he almost got fired from work. For his 21st birthday party--which was Purple Rain themed--he wore the big curly hair like Prince had. (He sat for 6 hours having extensions put in) And his boss flipped out the following monday when he strolled in. I mean our town is fairly conservative, I mean hello Dubya is regretably from here, and well not everyone appreciates the experimental looks.

I'm all for the 80s, you all know that, but there is a world outside our little purple bubble that we play in. And i know that Dion can pull the clip ons out at anytime, but knowing my Sweetie, he'll stroll into work looking like he shlould be hanging around Paisley Park. I mean we are in a rescession, and Dion will fall over if he gets the pink slip.  :(

I just knew I should have dated a Michael Jackson fan instead. (but all the good look alikes are already married.  >:( )  ;D Joking. Like I said I'm giving Dion until he's 30 to hang up the Prince act. I could potentially marry this man one day and I flat REFUSE to name any of our children Symbol or Purple Rain! (he had spoken of one day naming children this!) I've also heard the names Seven (after the song "7") and 1999.  No kidding. (I won't lie, I've contemplated the name Apollonia, but I doubt I would name a daughter this.)

Just had to share that.

Hey Gang!  :)

I know that alot of you are waiting on feedback from the Prince party my sweetie, Dion threw on Sunday. Well I'm going to go ahead and cut to the chase--Dion got ANOTHER ticket.  ;D
This time for disturbing the peace.  I'll explain. The party was supposed to be held in the den of Dion's house. That's where all of our friends gathered at, and all the food was in there (pizza and an OUT OF SIGHT lemon cake that Dion had bought at a bakery) I'm not really sure how it happened. Like I say, when Dion is flying high in Prince mode--this time rockinga Prince t-shirt, chain cap, and tamnourine with the symbol on it--I just smile at him. Somehow we started in the den, all of us, sitting and watching Prince videos and imitating him. You know, just dancing and goofing. Dion's parents even came in and danced to When Doves Cry. And then Dion got the idea to take his iPod speaker thingy outside for us to dance on the patio. Which was fine. The music was a little loud, but we were in the backyard, so I didn't think anyone would mind. Dion had been playing the cleaner Prince tunes--Purple Rain, Uptown....Then Dion decided he just HAD to hear Sexy MF. And the "MF" stands for what you think it does.  :D

There are currently two versions of the song. One that is censored. And one that is not. I have NEVER heard the censored version.

But the entire neighborhood got an earful of Prince screaming obscenties and trying to rap. And apparently someone didn't like what they heard because about twenty minutes later, a policeman showed up. It was really bad. Dion didn't even notice it at first, he was too busy shaking his booty. Most all the rest of us saw the officer and kind of moved away.
The cop went up and patted Dion's shoulder and when he turned...gosh, Dion just went pale. Casper had nothing on him. At first the  cop just stared at him, because I don't think he could tell if Dion was a boy or not because he was wearing out those extensions, plus he had that stupid hat on!  :D
But the cop was pretty nice. He asked Dion turn turn the music down He actually said "Knock it down a few decibles Sir.."  Which Dion, foot in mouth, did oblige. And he was issued his citation and the cop left.

Dion was pissed. He starts yelling, why didn't we tell him a cop was there. Yadda yadda yadda. It was hilarious. And to make it even worse, his father nagged at him "You shoulda kept your "donkey" in the house!"

Dion was bent out of shape the rest of the afternoon.  >:( <---Him.  ;D <---Me.

But I had a wonderful time and aside from the ticket, I think Dion did too.

Hey Y'all!

http://msnbcmedia.msn.com/j/msnbc/Components/Photos/050613/050613_jacksonincourt_hmed_2p.h2.jpg

Michael Jackson in the Santa Maria Courthouse minutes before the verdict, June 13, 2005.

Today is an unnoficial holiday or sorts in the Michael Jackson fan world. It has been exactly four years since Michael Jackson was declared not guilty at the end of his assault trial. I really cannot beleive that four years have passed since the trial, but it has. I just remember the day so clearly. (Permit me to reminisce for a moment) I just remember being on the phone with my best friend Stacie--who had stayed at my house the entire week before watching the news and trial with me--and we were going ape crazy when the verdict came in.
Now I'll be honest. I'm a pretty level headed, cool tempered person. Anyone will tell you that. But when that verdict got handed down, i was on the floor in front of my television in the fetal position, crying and I think cursing Stacie out because she kept talking over the verdict. I clearly remember hearing myself say "Shut the "F" up--I can't hear the verdict!"  ;D She was screaming, I was screaming. We were bothing snotting and sobbing and thanking God and it was like a religious expieririence almost. Time slowed down, it was weird. It seemed lilke everthting stopped for moment. And then I remember hugging my mom and saying that Michael was alright and then I was outside, running laps around my house chanting "Michael! Michael!" And Stacie did the same thing at her house. The next day she came over and we literally watched every piece of footage I had of Michael, celebrating, rejoicing.
I like to consider myself to be one of the cooler-heaed fans, but I got caught up in the hysteria and I actually enjoyed it. Being excited, being short of breath and glassy eyed over Michael. I'm not liek that all the time and haven't been like that since, but it was a feeling I won't forget. Just the happiness, the sheer, straight up, uncut happiness I had. And I'll admit, I was a snob for a while because I was like "nah, nah, nah, you dumbass, Michael is FREE" to everyone I knew who was a naysayer.  >:(  <--They looked at me like that.  ;D <--That was me.
It made me happpy that even in his darkest hour, Michael had a wonderful support system in his family, friends and the fans. He was not alone, he had a great backing.
And it really was a hard time for me during the trial because I wanted nothing more to be outside on the pavement with the other fans, cheering on Michael and throwing spitballs at the jury. But I had to stay at home because my mother was sick. But I swear, had my mother been well, I'd have gotten to California, even if I had to tie on my Baby Phat sneakers and WALK. But my mom was like if she was well, we'd be there.
But I'm happy that that Michael came through it all and is making a comeback. While I can't go to London--I can't miss my dialysis  >:( --I will be in line should he annouce he's coming to Texas.
I just have to be patient and wait because something GOOD has to happen to me. I mean I've watched my poor mother leave this earth and then I was so sick myself and have had to have surgeris. I feel I deserve to see Michael. (somebody agree with me please)
But I digress, this isn't about how much I adore Michael. Everyone knows that. I have a little pin with his face on it on my shirt everyday.
This is about celebrating probably one of the gretest triumphs in Michael Jackson's life and the life of all his fans.

And I just think that there are more great, wonderful things to come.

PS--And Dion didn't act a fool today either! LOL!

Hey Y'all!

I am personally thankful that Michael didnt go to prison. He is too soft and too pretty to have lasted long in there. The poor man would have gotten passed around like a carton of smokes.  :( Aslo alot of the fans feared that Michael would have commited suicide in the slammer. I'm glad we didn't have to find out.

But I do know what Michael Jackson looks like in a prison-like setting.

http://mjjpictures.free.fr/history/shortfilms/tdcau_p/002.jpg

Nope this isn't a photoshopped pic. This is a picture of Michael taken in 1996 on the set of the alternate version of "They Don't Care About Us" I prefer this version over the more common one shot in Rio. In this one, Michael just was so deep. The cast supporting Michael was mostly Black men, and it made a statement on how many Black men are locked up and falsely locked up in the system. I didn't think that Michael would be so controversial as to make a statement like that, but I do applaud the effort.

165 pounds <--There's a reason my weight is here.

Hey Everyone,

So today wasn't really all that exciting. I got up this morning, went to church and then met up with Dion for lunch afterwards. (He'd gotten out way earlier than be because his Mass starts and ends like 2 hours before I even go to church. He's Catholic, I'm Baptist) Anyway, I did have some difficulty in eating. Dion took me to a local McDonalds because he just HAD to bloody have a Big Mac. And I am trying to diet myself, but instead of a salad--I don't wanna eat like a bunny just because I am "Bunny"--I got fish sandwhich instead. And I really felt kind of guilty for eating it.
I've been dieting off and on over the last couple of months since I've gotten better with my kidneys and all (well, not really better, just stable). It doesn't really have anything to do with health, other than my kidneys, I am healthy--no diabetes or anything. It's a little silly to think of it really. But I want to look good and I mean stone cold, knock you on your ass good when I get to go see Michael Jackson in concert, should he tour the US.
I just have an image in my head of what the ideal Michael Jackson fan looks like and she's cute and small. I know because I've NEVER seen a fat fan up onstage with Michael. They always grab the little waifish looking girl and throw her up there with him.
And also I have a long standing fear that should I get graced with the oppourtunity to meet Michael and have a pic taken with him, that I'll look like a blimp next to him. Michael, on a "fat" day is 120 pounds. At his lightest he was 105. I'm a true fan, I know these things. There was talk that he got up to 140 a few years ago---but let's be for real. Michael Jackson is skinny. He always has  been. (I'm over looking the American Bandstand 50th thing where he had a buhdda belly. And just had to wear a red shiny vinyl shirt!)

http://mjjpictures.free.fr/2009/various/doctor_14/001.jpg
Michael today, around 115-120 pounds.

http://mjjpictures.free.fr/invincible/awards/bandstand/dangerous/040.jpg
Michael on Bandstand when he was "fat". Or so the fans cried.

People say I'm silly and that I should be happy I lost what I lost, but I don't know...I'm just restless and want more. Now before you go dialing 911, I do eat. And I eat well and a decent balance of things. .

Dion says I critique myself too much, I'm not sure. I just know I want to look nice. I just try my best to be as great a fan as I can. I buy the records when they come out, I wear the shirts and buttons, I have the dolls, I am knowledgeable about him and I use my intellect to go to head to head with haters--and am usually victorious. I just want the appearance to reflect it.
It's probably the beauty pageant competitor in me. I was always competing with other girls for crown, smiling harder, trying to be a bit more graceful..it paid off because I have a bunch of trophies and stuff in my living room but I can't exactly carry a 3 foot tall trophy with me and throw it at Michael Jackson, unless I was end up under the jailhouse.  :)

I"m thinking of charting my diet here to keep me on track because if I see then numbers in black and white, I might pay attention to the piggy on my fridge and leave the food inside it LOL.

Wish me luck! Shooting for 110!  ;D And at 5'7'' I'd look just like Keira Knightly!  ;D

Michael has Vitiligo and the skin condition makes his skin sensitive to sunlight. So you tell me, what would you rather see? Michael looking like a glittery surgeon about to scrub in, or red with a sunburn and flaking like a Pillbsury biscuit?  :) I dug Michael when he was brown, I love him now milky, but it'll be a rife disaster if he's as red as his Thriller jacket.  :(

Hi Howard.

I don't think that Michael is embarrassed to wear his mask. He's been wearing it off and on for over 15 years. I even saw him kissing Lisa Maris Presely with it on. The way I see it, if you need it, you just have to get used to it. Just like I got used to the little catheter in my neck and the 3 inch scar on my left wrist. It's there to help me and the mask is there to help Michael. And it's cool. Some of the fans even wear them at his concerts. Anything Michael wears, the fans just pick up and go with it.

@Billzy:  ;D

@Howard: Well aside from asking for my hand in marriage, I hear word going around the MJ community that he is grooming his oldest son Prince-Michael to be a recording star. There is even talk that they might share a duet on the new tour. Prince's voice can be heard speaking briefly at the end of The Lost Children on the Invincible album. If I'm correct, you can hear Blanket too. I actually took the time and read the liner notes. LOL.

Hey Y'all!  :)

When I say I have had one hell of a day, honey I mean it! It all started--and subsequently went down--in dialysis. First of all, I had to go in like a half hour ahead of time to get some kind of medicine to help me with my treatment and then the nurse got it mixed up and I actually had to stay an hour later as opposed to thirty minutes,  >:( In the meantime, I plugged up my portable DVD player that I always take with me in there. They do have personal cable TVs, but it really does become monotonous to see Paula Deen cooking with butter all the time. I started watching a little Michael Jackson at some awards show, but got tired when one of the director of Beat It leaned in and kissed him. (I am not joking, go look it up on Youtube American Music  Awardfs 1984) ON THE CHEEK!  ;) When I took Michael off, I broke out my collection of Alfred Hitchcocks early films. Five bucks for 20 of his movies at Wal-mart. I almost fainted in the Entertainment section.
I'm digressing.
So I'm sitting there picking a movie and after alot of thought--and wasting ten minutes--I pick a movie called "The 39 Steps"

http://www.lib.washington.edu/media/criterion/images/the39steps.jpg

The premise of the movie was pretty good. A Canadian vacationing in England (Donat) gets caugfht up alleged murder and espionage all surrounding some big secret that's supposed to be coming out of Scotland in a few days. Long story short, Donat gets accused of the murder and leads a chase all the way to the Scottish countryside. I don't wanna spoil the movie, but when the "secret" was finally revealed , I almost threw my player across the room. It was the most ridiculous got-danged thing I'd ever heard. In a big movie like that you expect someone of high stature to be murdered or something. I wanted to slap Mr. Hitchcock myself.  >:( The only thing that saved the picture was Robert Donat. He was such a handsome leading man. He instantly reminded me of Clark Gable, with smaller ears.  8)
He fell right into the little niche of leading men I liked with the brooding dark good looks. And to be honest, the movie was really suspenseful and wonderful until that unfortunate, stupid wannabe secret got in the way. Gosh it's a bigger secret how Prince keeps his hair black than that!  >:(

But at least something good came out of it, I'm now a fan of the late Robert Denat's work.  :)

Hey Howard!

Okay, I get to explain the logic of Blanket Jackson again. Blanket is a nickname. That's not the little boy's given name. Michael explained to Martin Basheesh--er, Bashir--in the Living With Michael Jackson  interview that "blanket" was a label of affection, like you blanket someone with love. And Blanket is a very much loved little boy as are all of Michael's children. So the name fits.  :)

http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=0F31BA7C581457F9&search_query=living+with+michael+jackson

That's the link to the interview in it's entirety on Youtube. Enjoy.

I haven't watched it in quite a while because, well, Martin Basheesh--er, Bashir--really gets on my last, good nerve. He was such a kiss-(bleep) to Michael then he became a turncoat and HE was the reason Michael went to trial AGAIN. I'm trying painfully hard to keep my cool. because it takes quite alot--ALOT to make my blood boil about Michael. I don't mind jokes, I joke, but I just can't really take it when someone goes too far. Perhaps Michael is naive, maybe he is a bit too trusting. But I'd like to think that the other party would have a heart or at least a concious to not take utter advantage of him!

I'm sorry I jumped a bit off topic from Blanket's name, but that interview really is a hot button issue and I just have to say my part on behalf of Michael and I hope I haven't upset you.  :)

@Snoz: Karma honey! Thanks for the links. I did Mr. H. And no, I haven't seen strangers on a train yet, but I plan to. I used to watch Alfred Hitchcock presents when I was little (good evening) I like all the old stuff. LOL.

@Howard: Michael is far too classy to throw a hissy fit like that. (you might wanna look for Prince doing that) but at the end of the Basheesh--er, Bashir--interview, he does get a little pissed when Martin kept nagging at him about his cosmetic procedures. If I were there, I'd just stand out the way because Michael looked like he was going to take a flying leap at Martin if he asked the wrong thing. Michael is skinny, but he has big feet and I'm sure it hurts if he kicks you.

Hi Y'all!

@Howard: I've never seen Michael with a full on Kenny Loggins/Grizzly Addams beard and I sincerely hope I never do. Actually when it comes to bodily hair on Michael Jackson, it is kinda sparse. The closest Michael came to being furry was this:

http://i44.tinypic.com/119xlbb.jpg

This is an alternate shot of Michael from when he was on the cover of TV Guide in 1999. I have a very vivid memory of this. I remembered I didn't like the stubble, but I loved the haircut and flat begged my mom to buy me the TV Guide. Which she graciously did, and got the OTHER cover that had a picture of Michael when he was thirteen on it.  ::) But they had recent pics inside. To be honest, I've never really seen Michael with bodily hair. I've seen him with peach fuzz on his armpits twice (he's got nothing on Prince, Prince looks like he had Chewbacca held captive under his arms) Everything is just a mere fuzz. I dunno if he shaves or waxes or what... But I do like Michael's body better.

http://mjjpictures.free.fr/dangerous/shortfilms/itc/001.jpg

This is Michael in 1992. You can see the fuzz under his arms. In the video--In the Closet--it is gone.

This is the first time I've ever discussed Michael's body hair.  ;D I've discussed his eyebrows, but never his body hair! LOL!
Sometimes I think I know too much! LOL!

@Michael C.: I've never had a blankie/binkie. I have a "Nooney". Nooney is the Cabbage Patch Kids Doll I've had since I was 4. I always take her to the hospital with me. To be honest, she's sitting right here on my desk as I'm typing this.

Hey Y'all.

So today was a little bit boring. I mean I went to dialysis and was a little tired and then I went home. The only minimally exciting thing was that Dion came over and we looked through some fashion magazines and he helped me to pick out which trends I wanted try. LOL. For some reason, I really enjoy fashion and clothes. And when I was younger I didn't. I just used to not give a hoot in hell about labels or trends or anything. LOL. I even went through a phase where I was like a rebel and wore all black and black liner and studs and chains and all. It was really strange.
Now I'm more girly I think. Like i have to wear make up. I feel absolutely nude without it.
I suppose my interests have kind of changed. Because in the past all my attention was focused on my ailing mother and I was bsy keeping doctor's appointments straight, and medicines filled nd refilled and not sleeping because I woke up every two hours to make sure she was still breathing...I just kinda went on the back burner.
And now I just think I can put a little more time into myself. I mean I'm sick, and the least I can do is be pretty.
I also feel that as a Michael Jackson fan, I should  project the kind of person that I really am. Someone who is intelligent and articulate and I suppose fashionable. I look up to fabulous fashionable women like Nicole Richie and Kimora Lee Simmons and even Apollonia. (not her way of dressing, but she is a sweet person)

http://z.about.com/d/shoes/1/0/s/c/Nicole_Richie_Shoes.jpg
Nicole Riche

http://pzrservices.typepad.com/advertisingisgoodforyou/images/2008/03/22/kimoraad.jpg

Kimora Lee Simmons. I have so much of her stuff. LOL. Clothing, perfume, her book. And when her tv show is on, it's "sit down and shut up" time in my house. LOL.

http://www.celebrity-pictures.ca/Celebrities/Apollonia-Kotero/Apollonia-Kotero-1020563-small.jpg
Y'all know Apple! LOL!

I just want people to look at me and think "She looks smart" talk to me and realize that I am.
People think that Michael Jackson fans are ignorant or just naive. That's what I've encountered in the last 14 years as a fan. People have really tried to belittle me and make me feel bad for liking Michael Jackson. And I don't want to preach about Michael, but I do think that it is kind of unfair when people use Mike as my one defining quality.
Yes, I love Michael Jackson, Yes I am a fan and enjoy his music and all, but there is more to me than that. I did pageants, i design pageant clothes. I coach two little girls who are starting to win nice titles on the pageant circuit. People I didn't know would come up to me and randomly ask me about Michael. And I mean personal things about him. (like stuff about his anatomy, hint hint.) <--I do know the answer to that, as did EVERYONE who read Lisa Marie's Book!
I just hope that the people who read this blog know that I am a multifaceted girl.
But back at fashion.
The first person I really liked as far as fashion went was Michael. I just thought it was spectacular when I was like 10 and 11 years old to see Michael in these big, 40 pound crystal jackets and that kind of sparked my love affair with glitter. (actual glitter, not Mariah Carey's movie) I just kind of gravitate towards "strange" and fabulous people. The women I look up to are larger than life, the men too...well maybe not Prince.  ;D
I dig people who are fashion oriented. Even Prince was a muse for the late Gianni Versace. Now I can't affod Versace for my life LOL, but I do have a poster of Prince in one of the Versace getups. And he's still friends with the cathcer's mitt that is Donatella Versace.
I really love creative things. And to me like fashion is so creative because you can put together different outfits and looks and express yourself. And I like creative thing.s I like people who are free thinkers. I mean I sketch, I write stories (I've written maybe 35 stories that are posted around the web) I just have a large imagination and like to channel it in those ways.
To this day, theres an MJ site that has a poem I wrote like 5 years ago. My friend liked it so much, he posted it.
I channel a lot of things into writing. I write poems, stories, novels. I wrote alot of free verse poems during Michael's trial--it floored other fans. When my mother passed, I wrote and read the eulogy, not a dry eye in the church. (which was hard for a 22 year old to do, on top of planning the entire servies and every detail.)

:)

I just wanted to kind of share more of who I am. (Hope this blog isn't too long or rambling.)

Hi Howard.

Well every now and then I do ask what Apple is doing on the Prince board. And from what I've heard, she's done a cover of Prince's "When Doves Cry": for a 25th anniversary Purple Rain tribute album. And other than that she's been going to charity events and from what I heard, designing lingerie.  :)

Apple kind of stays lowkey.

You do know I have a Prince questionaire thread in the Ask me, Ask me part of this place. LOL.  ;) As far as the girl in the video. I don't know. I know she was a model when Prince picked her. Now 20 years later, I assume she's someone's wife and mother. Her name was Monique I beleive. I've never actually seen her face.  ???

And if you're going to ask me about every woman in every Prince vbideo, we'll be all day because Prince has made near on 100 videos.

Before you ask about Mayte, she's a judge now on "Dance Your Ass Off" or "Dance Your Fat Off" some show like "Dancing with the Stars" but for "curvier" people to lose weight.  :)

Hey Everyone!  :)

Okay, so today here in my town was a major scorcher. It topped 100 degrees and was just so hot that if Hell is anything like it, I'm gonna start praying now!  :)
And like the saying goes, strange things do happen when the heat is on. Now nothing like "Do the Right Thing" happened, but some strange and stupid stuff did happen to several of my friends. I'm going to leave Dion for last because you know he'll be a doozy.
Let's start with my fried Momo. She's the one I said that has some fascination with Apollonia and that's her style icon. So Momo is pale and Apples has that tanned olive complexion. So Momo, who at 15 is too young to go to a tanning parlor and can't afford a spray on tan, decided to slather herself with some lotion or something and laid out in her backyard in a swimsuit to tan.
Which was okay, but she fell asleep laying on her back and awoke some 5 hours later with the front of her body sunburned. So instead of soft supple tan skin, she now looks like she's Goerge Hamiliton's daughter.  ;D

http://lianadickson.files.wordpress.com/2008/04/hamilton.jpg
Yup, nothing like that old beat up shoe leather look to make a man extra sexy. I thought the only thing that got that shade of golden brown was fried chicken LOL.  ;D :D

Now Momo was not the only case of insanity in the heat today. That brings us back to Dion being a fool. And this time I wasn't even around. At the time this allegedly went down, I was at home watching a cooking show.
So my cell phone starts jangling and it's Diana, Dion's sister. All she asked was, "Do you know what your man is doing?"  :-\\
And I said no...
Diana tells me that out in thier backyard, the sprinklers were on and guess who was playing "Purple Rain" and jumping back and forth through them naked as a jay bird?
DION!
And whle I'm laughing at the idea of him being that silly, I hear their father just start screaming bloody frigging murder at him.  ;D
I didn't hear what he said but it sounded like a woman being killed in a horror movie. Just screaming. All I mad out was "BOY GET YOUR "DONKEY" IN THIS HOUSE RIGHT NOW!"
I was dying. As if Dion didn't have enough tickets to his name the last thing he needed was "indecent exposure" added to the list.
When I finally spoke to Dion I had to know why he did something that crazy.
He said he was too darn hot and just had to.  ::)

That's my sweetie.  ;D Once again proving that I'm the logical one in this relationship.
LOL.

LOL.

Boy imagine if George Hamilton got any more browner.  :o

;D

Hello Everyone.

Today, I am extremely heartbroken. I was awakened from a nap by my father who told me that Michael Jackson, the King of Entertainment, had died. At first I thought he was joking and then I saw the news. I don't know what to say, I am just extremely heartbroken and will need time to heal and I'm not sure how long it will take. As you know, I have been a fan of Michael since I was a child and I did love him deeply. As much as a fan could love a star.
I haven't beenthis shattered and upset since my own mother died. This is truly a difficult time and I do wish that you pray for me, but more so pray for Michael's family, espcecially his dear children.
I feel so terribly for those little children losing thier father so suddenly.

Please just pray.

Thank you.  And thank you everyone for your support. You are true friends.

I cannot post a picture of Michael to this post, it pains me too much to look at him now.

I posted my condolences in your other thread but I'll say it here now... I am truly sorry for your loss... like the others I thought of you before anyone else because you're the first real HARD CORE MJ fan I've ever 'met'.... I hope that pain passes soon and that you  will find comfort in his music....

we often disagreed about the man but we agreed on one thing... he was a talented singer. I won't lie.. I'll be playing some Off the Wall, watching the Wiz and blasting my favorite tune Ben this weekend.

Take care and PM me if you want to talk.

Hello Everyone,

I am writing this blog to let everyone know that I am doing alright in light of this horrendous loss. I have had a lot of support from my friends, some of which who are coddling me so hard, you'd swear I was Michael's widow.
But all jokes aside, I am hurting. I am. But I am holding it together because I have other fans looking to me for support and advice and just a shoulder to lean on. I have, through my MJ fanclub, started to offer counseling to some of the other fans. And already,I've had people asking me "How the hell are you so together?"
To be honest, I just have to say it's by the grace of God that I'm making it through this.
I was alerted about Michael's leaving this world--I cannot form my mouth to verbally say "dead"--the exact same way I was told of my mother's passing. I had gotten home from dialysis and laid down to sleep.
A few hours later, my father came in to tell me about Michael. At first I thought he was playing and joking. And then I saw the news.
I had no words. I just cried and laid down and asked God to give me strenth to deal with this.
I suppose I'm different from other fans. Some people thought that Michael was truly invincibleand that he wouldn't die. I'm different. Ever since I first got into Michael, I've mentally prepared myself for his death. Now that's not to say that it isn't a shock to my system. It freaking is. It is, but I realize that Michael was human and that one day he would have to go.
I'm not saying that to get pats on the back for being understanding or anything, but that's just how I am. Because I am deep in the MJ community, I do know some people who, for lack of a better term, are "unbalanced" and though of Michael as immortal.
It's unfourtunate that his life was cut short because I feel that there was so much life left to Michael.
I just explain his cardiac arrest this way--"His heat was just so full of love that it outgrew his body" Now that may be sugarcoating it, call it what you want, but it helped my freidns a great deal to hear me say that.
I'm just used to being the strong one. It's just normal for me. I mean in less than 2 years, I've lost my mother, my kidneys and now my Michael.
I am sad, but I am also happy because Michael is with God. And that comforts me.
He will live on in my heart, just like my mother.
I only wish I could have met him.

And I wil still post blogs and will continue to aswer any and all questions about Michael.

I hadn't really thought about it, I'd say Thriller, which is the obvious choice, I guess.  I also love Rock With you.  I've really enjoyed some of the clips they've shown of him as just little Michael, singing "Oh baby gimme one more chance..."

Hi Y'all.

@Snoz: I don't really associate with the unbalanced fans. The other fans I know are like me. I did know one crazy man.  I used to chat with him and when the allegations about Michael broke in 2003, I literally had to stop him from talking a fistful of pills on his webcam. That scared the hell out of me. So I have thus distanced myself from this man. I don't need that kind of drama, honestly.  I've already been through enough.

@ Howard: I am eager to see that list too.  ;)

Hello Everyone.

I am doing fine and staying strong for Michael Jackson. I'm an currently working on putting together a tribute party for Michael with some of my friends. We are even talking about mayb e organizing a vigil like the ones you've seen on TV, which would be wonderful if I could pull that off.
In the mean time, as I noted in my previous blog, I was going to spend the next week sharing my memories of Michael Jackson. And there were so many, I barely knew where to start.
But it finally came to me. I absolutely had to start at the beginning. When it all started.
The First time I REALLY got into Michael and when I bought my first MJ album.
Now prior to my becoming a fan in 1995, I had kind of a vague idea who Michael was. When I was three, I got freaked out by the dogs in suits in Leave Me Alone and when I was 6 got freaked out yet again when I saw Thriller for the first time. I just remember sitting on the floor with a bunch of my cousins on a summer day, just mortified by the zombies dancing, and the sort of cute, but also scary zombie leading them (MJ),  Also at the age of six, I saw Michael on the Oprah show and still was clueless about him.
I suppose that good things come in packs of three. When I was nine I truly discovered Michael Jackson.
It was fourteen years ago on June 20, 1995.
It was a Friday and on most Fridays, I watched the two hour block of programming on ABC.
But that night was different. Instead of watching "Boy Meets World" the TV said that there was a special program coming on, an interview with Michael Jackson.
I kind of loosely remembered the name, and under any other circumstance I would hav changed the channel, but for some reason, something made me sit and decide to watch the show.

http://mjjpictures.free.fr/history/interviews/primetime/interview/001.jpg
Barbara Walter, Lisa Marie Presley-Jackson, Michael Jackson.

I was kind of clueless for the first maybe fifteen minutes of the show. I didn't knwo who Barbara Walters was, I didnt know about Lisa and I was in the dark about Michael.
But THEN, and this is was shocked me, a clip of Michael performing Billie Jean on the Motown 25 was played and I was actually singing along.
And the absolute craxy thing is, I had NEVER heard the song before then. At least I don't remember. I don't remember hearing that song before then.
But I was stunned and was like  :o "That's Michael Jackson!?!"
After I got over Billie Jean, i really started getting into the program and was finding Michael pretty cute. (well, as cute as a nine year old could)
I remember watching it through the end with the world premiere of the You Are Not Alone video. I was just kind of sitting there giggling because Michael was naked and Lisa was naked and it was such a melodramatic, romantic video.

http://mjjpictures.free.fr/history/shortfilms/yana/013.jpg
Michael in the You Are Not Alone Short Film.

I just thought it was kind of cool and sweet and I liked his voice. Plus he was really cute!  ;)
And then the program was over. I remember once again being a little freaked out because Michael stood to shake Barabara's hand and I noticed that the silver things on his legs were moving! I thought they were statues. (You can't see it int he picture, but the kneecaps were lion's heads. And I really thougth it was awesome he had clothes like that.
The same night I had a dream that I met Michael after a concert and he smooched my cheek.
I was hooked.
And I proceeded to spend the next week hounding my mother about Michael.
"Mommy, please buy me a Michael tape!" I was like a broken record for 7 days straight.
Finbally my mother threw up her hands, screamed "Shut the hell up" and threw me in the car. We went three blocks down the road to a now defunct record store and I eagerly rushed up to the counter, grabbed the man behind it and began demanding Michael Jackson. (I was a bit of brat back in the day. ;D )

I remember it all too clearly. He laid out three cassette tapes--Thriller, Bad and HIStory. Like a jackass I skipped over the Thriller tape because at the time I didn't recognize Michael when he was darker skinned and instead, picked up Bad because I recognized him with the lighter skin and curly hair, The ont thing was though, in the cellophane wrapper, the price tag covered his face. LOL. It was 9 dollars.

http://mjjpictures.free.fr/bad/shortfilms/bad/014.jpg
I giggled so hard at this. Even I knew Michael wasn't all that "tough" and just a softie. Even when I was only nine! But it was sexy.

Back in my mom's car, and riding to the grocery store, my mother was telling me to play it. I was a little scared actually. I mean the record was called "Bad" and once I pulled the wrapper off, I giggled at his "bad boy" image. But I was worried that Michael would be cursing his face off and I didn't want Mom to make a U-turn in the street and return the tape. I reluctantly put the tape in and oh my God, I was done.
I was absolutely done! I just fell head over heels, ass first in love with Michael.
I played the cassesste until it snapped (cried my butt off) and also snapped two more cassette copies of it before I got the cd a few years later.
And it has been an incredible fourteen years. I mean it was just remarkable,. Sure there have been bumps along the road, but that's life. Michael was human and everyone has problems.
That is one of my fondest memories of Michael Jackson. I can easily tell you what my worst one was. Yesterday, the wound was still kind of raw about Michael being gone, and then it really hit home when I saw the last photograph of Michael taken. He is lying in the back of the ambulance with his shirt half off, with all the medical doodads hanging off him and a tube in his mouth. He is clearly gone in the picture and a part of me shriveled when I saw it. (It will be a long time before I can say the "D" word in conjuntion with Michael Jackson, if ever. )
I will not post the picture on my blog because I do not want that a part of my blog. I only want to post pictures that are of a happy and healthy Michael and there are so so many.
And like the pictures, I have so many dear memories of Michael.

And I will share more soon. Thank you for reading this.

Hey Y'all!

@Snoz: Alas, I doubt Michael will do like Elvis and appear as an apparition. And if he does, why on Earth would he come to me? I'd reckon he'd appear to his parents or some of the rest of his family. Or maybe E'casanova, since they look so much alike.  ;) And thanks about Diane Sawyer. But I wasn't watching her, I was looking at the man in red!  ;)

@Howard: Exactly how much is "big money" sweetie? Now I'm curious. I'm hanging onto my Thriller (MINT) LP with an iron fist.  ::) It's so mint it's beyond virginal and when you open the gatefold cover, for a small second, a ray of light comes out the sky and you hear someone singing "Ahhhahhhahhhahhh!" Or maybe that's just me.  :o BTW, I think I have that People magazine you have. Is it a People Weekly Extra from Nov/Dec 1984 with a close up of Michael's face on the cover in a blue shirt? Plesse tell me more once you calculate the figures you want.

@Paul: That's nothing. I saw a Thriller on ebay going for 300,000 DOLLARS! My friend had to pick me up off the floor because I passed the hell out. And proceeded the spend the next five minutes screaming "I LOVE YOU MICHAEL!!!!!!" at the top of my lungs. No before I start buying a condo in Miami, I'll wait to see if anyone bids on it. That is price gouging in my opinion. Now some fans who are grief-stricken will take out a loan or something and pay an inflated price like that. But I'm not like that. Now I'm not opposed to paying maybe a little higher than expected, but I mean I'm not going to sell my car for anything. I'm not going to allow myself to be robbed by someone greedy. I just pity them for trying to make a profit off a person wilted emotional state. Hell, they had sharks selling T-shirts right after Michael died. His body wasn't even cold, damn it, and they were selling shirts!
But they have to deal with God and I'd hate for THAT to keep me out of Heaven.
I would only go without food to see Michael in person and that's not a possibility any more. In times like these, I pride myself on being level headed and cool and calm. Some fans aren't but I am. That's why I have people looking to me for advice. I just hate to see others taken for a ride.

Hey Y'all.

Gosh, I can't beleive it's been three days since Michael Jackson Moonwalked to Heaven. I'm still dealing with it, but I've only cried once. I almost cried again when I heard that Michael's daughter Paris began screaming when they told her Michael was gone. And then I got another blow when my friend Cathy said that Michael's kids were there while people were pounding on his chest. The kids thought he was playing. Apparently, Michael used to play opossum and then jump up and hug the kids. So that was really sad. And then I've been consoling my friends left and right. Even my Dion said he had to pull off the road and cry when he heard the news when he was driving home from work. He rushed over to me because he thought I'd be in shambles. And I was in shambles, but I cried privately. The only person who saw me cry was my father. I was a mess the first night. I had like three anxiety attacks that night and finally, I prayed and calmed down. I am better and thinking clearly. At first I just wanted to rip all my posters down and put them away and then I realized, Michael wouldnt want that. He'd want me to keep on loving him and enjoying his music. It's not about me. It's about him. And I do want to keep his memory alive for myself and others. One of these days, my children will know who Michael Jackson is and who knows, I might name a son Michael.  :) Hell, I know SIX different Michael's named after him.

But that's slightly off topic. I'm supposed to be celebrating memories and that's what I'm going to do.

When I was young and starting out as a fan, I have to admit, I was really ignorant about alot of the things that Michael Jackson had done. To say now that I am as well-versed and educated about him as I am now, it was really a long road to get there. When I was nine, I was just kind of bumping along and not really knowing what was going on. I just knew that Michael was a singer, he was cute, I liked his songs and I knew for some reason he was called The King of Pop. I officially stopped calling him this 5 years ago and changed it to "King of Entertainment".
Anyway, I was 12 when I finally found out just what a big deal Michael Jackson was. And it was an accident that it happened.
It was a Saturday in the summer once again, I think between 6th and 7th grade. And every weekend my mother and I would go to a video store called WC's and rent videos. (That place is also defunct too. See, I told you my town was boring)
So while my mom was hunting a horror film for herself, I wandered over the the music video section of the store. There were three racks of tapes. One at eye level to me, one above and one below. And I very vividly remembering seeing "Purple Rain" on the shelf, picking it up and reading the back cover. And I was going to rent it when I saw it was rated "R" and I put it back. As I put it back I glanced up and was stunned to see Michael Jackson staring back at me.
I remember actually breaking into a sweat. There on the shelf was "Moonwalker" and there was only one copy left. I grabbed it and held onto it for dear life, racing through the store to my mother. She turne colors when she saw Michael but did rent it for me. (It was 3 dollars that day, and I swear to God, I must have rented it at least 100 times before the store closed 2 years later)
Oh lord, it was like Christmas in July when I got home. I remember my mom and I sat in my room and I popped the tape in.
Moonwalker starts with the 1988 "Bad" version of the Pepsi jingle and I was just amazed to see all the little kids and adults losing thier minds over Michael. It was a shock to me because I had never really seen fans swooning over Michael. It then went to a clip of Michael singing "Manin the Mirror" to a packed arena of like 50 thousand people. Peopel were screaming and yelling and fainting and being carted off.
And I was just sitting there amazing and swooning. And I was never afraid when I saw the fans acting looney. I was just proud. Proud that Michael could cause that kind of hysteria. And I remembered as a child I wanted to be in that and showing my love. It was always a wish that I had.
My favorite part was watching Michael sing "Dirt Diana" and rip his shirt open. ( I screamed) LOL.

http://mjjpictures.free.fr/bad/photoshoots/leibovitz/010.jpg

Everything was just reinforcing my adoration of him, my love for him, just everything. It was fantastic to see him singing and dancing and talking and acting. It was just so much fun.
I just wanted to learn as much as I could about Michael. And I never stopped. I equate intelligence of a person with how deep a fan is. Sure you can have all the posters and albums and junk, I have quite a bit, but if you don't know what the hell you're talking about, you're not a real fan. You're just floor showing. Now I don;t know everything. Only God knew everything about Michael. but I do know more than some people. Like I know about Thriller, but I also know who wrote the music, what the track was origianally called, knew that Michael re worked the entire tracked because he hated the first cut of it. And that the entire album was done in just three months.
And Moonwalker just kind of really aprked my interest. And to be honest, I've never gotten bored with Michael. I've liked other singers but only Michael is the one person I was continually interested in.

And I'm proud of that.

More like absolutely mad-arsed ridiculous, if you ask me!

(Granted...an official industry awarded gold/platinum disc might be a tad more realistic, but you won't find many of those up for grabs!)

Very level-headed of you...just don't be taken in by these silly prices (and believe me, even after his death they are silly!)

I just pity them for trying to make a profit off a person wilted emotional state. Hell, they had sharks selling T-shirts right after Michael died. His body wasn't even cold, damn it, and they were selling shirts!

'Fraid it's always gonna happen...I saw it first hand with Presley and Lennon (which is really showing my age!)

Hi Paul,

I noticed that you mentioned the like Gold/platinum discs. Now I know that there are some for display purposes that were like 70-100 dollars. But if someone really had one that Michael had in his home, that would be really valuable. But  I wouldn't really care for the records. If I could have ever have anything of Michael's there's one particular jacket he wore on the Victory tour. I love it.

http://mjjpictures.free.fr/thriller/tour/various/033.jpg
I was like mesmerized by this jacket. It was up for auction, but for the same price, I could have bought a condo. LOL.

But thank you for the compliments. I am glad that I am as level headed as I am. I just know how to calm myself. Now I can be hyphy when I want to, but I'm a calm girl. hehe.

Plesse tell me more once you calculate the figures you want.

ah... now the people mag thing makes sense... howard I'm not interested in the people mag.... I thought if it had other interesting article in then maybe... but um... Ryan white in 84? He was first diagnosed in 84....it seems a bit early to be talking about him... whatever...

and Tiff... you keep missing the point. I'm not talking about you seeing MJ I know you are more sensible than that... its the crazy fans I expect to start the MJ's still alive rumors.

To Everyone: My fabulous friend Kelly in Austrailia gave me a wonderful photo of Michael and I wanted to share it with all of you:

Hey Y'all,

@Paul: I've never reaslly thrown anything away of Michael Jackson. For some reason I always considered it kind of bad luck to do that. Like I've had times where I've messed up printing pictures (like printing a photo on the wrong side of high gloss paper) and instead of throwing it away, I just stuck it in a drawer in my room. It's never crossed my mind to throw anything away. It was just in me to keep everything. Once day my kid will get my stuff, after I'm dead. And if I should move from my home once I get married, there will be a LOCKED room to hold all my stuff. (Locked to keep a little child from decapitating my MJ dolls)  ;D

@Howard: I have that very same magazine. I got it from the library, took it apart and spent 2 hours putting each page in clear protectors. It is now in a binder with all my Thriller stuff.

@Billzy: Thanks man. And Michael was not ONE of my favorite people on Earth, he WAS my favorite.  ;D I have completely forgotten about Prince, I could care less about him, and am considering getting rid of my collection. Dion will have a heart attack, but I am considering getting rid of my Prince collection.  :) I got extremely mad about Prince because immediately after I heard about Michael leaving this world and whined that I would never see him in person, my father asked me if I wanted to see Prince.  >:( Hell no! How is PRINCE going to replace Michael? Prince is a stuck up little (bleep) whom I only liked for his body. I liked Michael for who he was and what he stood for.

Hey Y'all,

Thriller.

http://mjjpictures.free.fr/bad/tour/thriller/016.jpg

It is easily the largest selling album in the history of recorded music, with over 104 MILLION copies sold. (and more selling now) and of course you know that as one of Michael's alleged number one fans I have some pretty awesome memories of this album and the impact it has made on me.
Now in an previous post, I said that I had seen the Thriller video when I was 6, but I don't really count that because granted, I didn't yet know who Michael Jackson was.
When  I was 12 years old, I was once again wandering the music aisle in WV's video when I made a wonderful discovery. There on the shelf were two videos--"Michael Jackson History, Part 1" and "Michael Jackson: The Legend Continues" You know I rented it on the spot (and literally a hundred times more until I bought my own copies)

I watched HIStory first and Thriller is in the middle of the tape. (or dvd now) I remember just being awed and amazed by all the work that Michael put into the video. Well not video. Michael always refered to all of his works as "short films" and I strive to make sure I always said that, because indeed all of Michael's films tell a story.
Any way, I can easily say that watching Thriller launched me into my preoccupation with all things 1980s. I remember I wanted Ola Rays' leopard print Guess outfit (it is Guess, you can see the little triangle label on her back pocket) and I wanted hair like her and I wanted Michael Jackson to dance around me and sing to me.
Plus all the make up on the zombies were just astounding and I was truly impressed by all the work that Michael and everyone else did on the film.
After finishing the rest of HIStory, I popped in the Legend Continues and baby, the bottom fell out.
I remember watching people talking about Thriller and Billie Jean on the Motown 25 and watching how the fans were screaming and reacting. I mean there was like a 60 year old man getting down and dancing, a little girl screaming because Michael WAVED at her and even a woman jumped on stage and pulled Michael onto his face. It was panda-freaking-monium! And it just stuck me as a 12 year old. I just knew I was into someone with a reputation and who was huge. And my ears almost melted off when Dick Clark said it was the largest selling album of all time.
Could I pick my man or what?
Please beleive as soon as my mom came home I was on her back begging for the Thriller album. I had to do a buttload of chores the rest of the week but at time I'd have walked barefoot on hot lava for Michael. LOL. Not so sure I'd have done that now. Haha.
It was liek gold when I got the Thriller cassette in my hand.
And Lord, it was a crazy time. For three solid months, it was 1983 in my house. I listened exclusively to Thriller, watched the films, watched The Making of Thriller (when I saw it was up to be rented  ;D ) I even dove into the down town library and was up to ears in old magazines reading and xeroxing like a mad woman.. The public library must have gotten hundreds in dimes from me. LOL.
And that's when it dawned on me. To be a real Michael Jackson fan, you had to have Thriller...on VINYL.I don't know why, I guess because vinyl was the first media the album came out on, I just figured I had to have it. I just kind of have always been competitive with my collection. I look at other people's collections and if I saw something I liked, I'd open my face and ask about it.
And trust me, I canvassed every record store in town, even in Houston, and couldn't locate the LP.
I then turned to the Internet and was asking fans left and right. MJ fans are a stingy few and no one would let go of thierr damn LP.  >:(
Ten years later I was still searching.
I like to go to eBay alot, but I don't shop there myself because around Michael Jackson, I'm like Dion around Prince--another being enters my body,  I start buying and the next thing I'd know, I'd have a bill the size of Montana..  :o I usually have no restraint at all when it comes to Michael. I've spent food money on Michael before. Once in the mall I was on my way to the food court with a friend when I discovered the Thriller poster for 12 dollars. My friend asked about lunch and I swiftly said I wasn't hungry and bought the poster. LOL. (I still had money left over to eat thank god.) I used to save my snack money to afford cds.
Anyway, back about ebay and Thriller.
I was online and got lucky. I saw that a person was selling a mint Thriller and Bad (like my favorite albums of all time) . The bid at the time was like 5 dollars. I could't bid, but I have a friend in Maine who was kind enough to bid for me and agreed to ship them to me in Texas.  ;D
Three days later, she informed me that we'd won the auction for a mere 15 dollars and that my vinyls would arrive in about a week! I was so happy that I was dancing around the house, just cheering and screaming "who's bad?"  ;D

When the albums arrived a week later, it was Christmas once again. I was so happy and so proud. I truly felt like a bona fide MJ fan. I have always strived to be the best fan I could be and with that stuff in my hands I felt better than if I'd won Supreme Queen at a pageant!

http://i42.tinypic.com/ma9s9x.jpg

That's me with the album!  ;)

The Thriller may be gone now, but the thrill will live with me forever.

Anabel, don't feel bad about the word "bizarre". Michael to an extent was bizarre. He was so talented, so intelligent, so intuative, that it was bizarre. There's not many people in the world like him, if any. To call Michael bizarre, once again, to an extent, is a compliment. If he was "normal" would he be so legendary? Would he have so many fans? Would he be the largest selling artist in the history of recorded music? I think not.  :)

Look at the two words in surrounding "bizarre". Spectacular and thrilling. That is so true. So true. Michael is and was a long list of adjectives some good some bad. He was human. He's not perfect. He's not a god. Everyone has made mistakes. Just Michael's unfourtunately were publicized.

I told you I understood Michael. At least I like to think I do. I don't understand him completely, because I didnt kniow him personally--though I would have liked to--but I think I do have a better image and understanding than most people.  :) And i'm proud of that.

Hey Y'all.

As many of you probably know, there have been reports that a public viewing of Michael Jackson's body will occour at the Neverland Valley Ranch on this Friday. And the one thing that came to my mind--you know once I finally got over the idea that Michael is the "D" word and I also thought--"What were they going to put on Michael?". I know its a superficial thing on my part, but I just want Michael to look the best he can. I've always wanted Michael to look the best. I did find Michael sexy you can snicker if you want, but I did and I can name five other women--and one man--who feel the same. It's just that fashion was a huge part of Michael's identity. I mean who else could make people wear those outrageous zippered coats and floods with studded socks? Wasn't El DeBarge! Wasn't Prince! (though he did "F" up alot of people on his own  :( ) But about Michael. I was always the fan that when Michael made an appearance, I'd ask "What did he wear?" And in my mind, I keep having a nightmare that they'll put Michael in the ONLY outfit I've seen him that I hated:

http://mjjpictures.free.fr/20062008/various/japan2007/vip/011.jpg
I keep seeing THIS and it terrifies me. I'm at a loss for words at this. It just slapped me when  I saw the clothes. I didn't even know they made fabric like that. I didn't see HIM, I saw the suit. And I'm horrified that someone will give okay to put him in his casket like that.  I'd much prefer the "Billie Jean" emsemble so he can Moonwalk right off into Heaven. It seems fitting. The sparkly coat, the glove. Dion said I'm so vocal about Michael's appearance that I should have been helping the Jacksons.  :) That was flattering of him to say.

And that brings me to my blog for today. I have always been excited and enchanted by Michael's outfits. And I'd like to share my reaction to a few outfits when I first saw them. I love to look at pictures of Michael and skip down Memory Lane.

I know y'all are expecting the clothes he wore to the 84 Grammys and the 84 AMAs, but we've all seen that and I like to discuss outfits that some people over look. I'm observant like that.

http://mjjpictures.free.fr/bad/shortfilms/bad/022.jpg
This is from the "Bad" album cover session that actually occoured whilst Michael was filming the short. I was 9 when I saw this--11 or 12 when I saw the video--and I just found Michael to be tantalizing in the leather and buckles and chains. But I looked at Michael's eyes--I've on;y been able to pick emotions out of Michael's eyes in a photo--and he looks a little forlorn all the time. Even if he has a cheese-eating grin on his face, his eyes always look a little trouble and that broding appearance just made me even more into him. He's trying to look tough, but if you slap him, he might cry. And I loved that vulnerablity. I wanted to take care of him. Give him an iced tea and just talk to him.

http://mjjpictures.free.fr/bad/tour/wbss/012.jpg
I am like insane about the "Bad" tour. It was just so wonderful to see Michael alone on stage for the first time and maturing and coming into his own. And I adored this outfit. The buckled jacket was amazing because it lit up and the silver shirt was buckled too. I was seeking a particular pic because Michael had a pair of trousers with a HUGE buckle right on the groin and it was like so in your face. LOL. I remember I was watching Michael in that outfit in a concert from Japan and I remember he snarled "YOU ARE MY DOGGONE LOVER!" and it came so fast that I just screamed "Yes Sir!"  ;D My best friend hit the floor laughing.

http://mjjpictures.free.fr/dangerous/awards/grammy/010.jpg
Michael and Janet at the 35th annual Grammay awards in 1993. Michael looked respelndent in a white pearl jacket. I really do adore this look. His hair was perfect and he just looked like a walking diamond. I just hate that a few months later his world got blown to hell. AND APPARENTLY AFTER MICHAEL'S DEMISE, THE BOY WHO ACCUSED MICHAEL CAME FORWARD AND ADMITTED THAT HE'D LIED. Talk about too little to late. I won't go off now. I'm a Christian woman.

http://mjjpictures.free.fr/dangerous/various/wedding/006.jpg
Elizabeth Taylor married hubby... I think 72... ;D in 1991 at Neverland. I love how simple Michael's look is. Just a diamond brooch (he also wore it the previous year to the Soul Train Awards) and some shiny shoes. I love it. I clipped this pic myself out of an old French magazine at school in French class. My teacher was mad, but I didn't care. Mon Dieu!

http://mjjpictures.free.fr/dangerous/photoshoots/misc/014.jpg
This a promo pic for the "Heal the World" single and I just once again adore how simple it is. Michael looks good in black. Plus this pic was in the background of the Happy Hut in the first Addams Family movie. (don't beleive me, go look. I told you I know my MJ stuff)  ;D

http://mjjpictures.free.fr/history/appearances/cannes/010.jpg
This is Michael at the 5oth annual Cannes Film festival on May 8, 1997, MY 11TH BIRTHDAY! I was on the floor when I saw this outfit. I mean it just knocked me out. I loved that huge crystal ornament he has on his jacket. That man truly glimmered that night. He repeated the pin 5 years later at the MTV awards in 2002. He wore it on a red jacket and banged into one of the monitors onstage. Y'all probably remember that. He took a birthday greeting for an award and made a little speech. I remember ed giggling at him. But he's so used to getting awards, I don't blame him. I said that every five years so long as MJ was alive, he deserved to get an award just for being Michael Jackson. Damn, Dion was right...I am an MJ snob. LOL.

This is from when Michael was on the cover of Ebony in 2007. I was just over the moon when I saw this. Alot of people say Michael wasn't attractive. To me, he was proof of the fact. Michael had a Cary Grant air about him--minus the leather skin--in that lovely whitew suit with the metallic details. He just looked so polished, so suave. So debonair...it was just incomparable. And Michael could wear a suit better than Prince any day of the week!  ;D

Well I have tons more outfits I could share, but that's enough for tonight. LOL.

I was watching a few minutes of his "This Is It" London tour from The O2 Arena and it was so eerie when he kept saying This Is It,This Is It,this is my final curtain call and little did we all know that he'd pass away 3 months later, you'd think that ok,he's making one final run throughout the 50 states to promote one final tour before he retires officially. And with his clutching his chest, maybe had a small heart attack after he went through the curtains.Just thought I let you know.

Hey Y'all.

Earlier today, some friends of mine and I had a powwow at my house and were discussing Michael's children and who we felt should have custody of them. While we were split between Mrs. Jackson and Diana Ross, we were unanimous on one thing. We did NOT want Debbie Rowe to get custody of them. She just doesn't seem competent to me to have them. I wouldn't give her custody of a puppy--it can't scream for help. I'm not trying to slash and slander the woman, but come on y'all, let's not kid ourselves. If she wanted those kids, she'd have never signed over FULL CUSTODY to Michael Jackson.
Not to mention that Michael OMITTED her from his will. (Yeah I watch the news with open eyes and ears) And I've heard a five-year-old Prince say "I haven't got a mother". So there you go.

In light of all this prattle about custody and whatnot, I have decided to blog about my reaction to hearing that Prince-Michael had been born.

http://mjjpictures.free.fr/history/photoshoots/ok/010.jpg

I was ten years old when Prince was born in February of 1997. I had been a fan of Michael for a little over a year and I was still wet behind the ears when it came to getting news on him. Over the previous summer, Michael had gotten divorced from Lisa Marie Presley and I was happy. Now I don't know what the hell kind of chance a 10 year old girl had with snagging a 37 year old man, but in my mind I had as much chance as the next lady. So it was a a shock to get up one morning and my mom just casually said "Oh, Michael Jackson got married to some woman". Like she was asking if I wanted my eggs scrambled.
So it became Priority One to see who this new woman was. I just figured she'd be slim and gorgeous like Lisa Marie had been.
And then I saw Entertainment Tonight. They showed Michael walking with what I thought was a beefy bodyguard until I noticed they were holding hands.
I threw up.
Not from disgust--which I was was beleive me--but from laughing.
I laughed til I threw up. I thought Michael was BS-ing and pulling a publicity stunt. I mean it was Michael Jackson. He could pretty much have anyone he wanted. And he picked that.
When I was ten, I thought Michael had gone ape crazy to get Debbie, his doc's assistant. I mean, I knew he was on the reboud, but DAMN MAN!  :(
Michael and Debbie were married three years and I SWEAR I never heard a single fan say anything nice about her. They said it was nice Michael was married and happy, but I never heard a compliment about her. Maybe we were jealous...Maybe Michael had turned into a chubby chaser...any one's guess was good.
And then the bomb dropped.
Debbie was expecting and Michael was going to be a Daddy.
I threw up.
This time I was disgusted because Michael kept shooting down rumours of artificial insemination and if it weren't true then the baby was concieved the natural way.. and that meant that Michael had to ...you know...with Debbie. I just felt Michael could have done better. I mean there are characers on Sunset that only come out after dark that looked better than her. Like, yuck man.
I was confused. And it wasn't until years later that I finally understood that Michael only was with Debbie to have children. He didn;t really need her because he had everything handy to raise as many kids as he wanted. She was just kind of an incubator in the mean time. (That comparison made soda fly out Dion's nose)
So anyway, the day came, and you could have sworn the lost city of atlantis had been found. New was breaking into every show when Prince was born.
I flipped when I heard the kid's name was Prince because I thought Michael had once more gone ape crazy and named the baby after Prince Nelson. (that's the purple rain dude's last name--Nelson)
I was under the misconception that Michael and Prince Nelson hated each other and would slap box in the street if they saw each other. God I was stupid in my early years as a fan. :-General Question to everyone: IS THERE ANY MJ EVENT YOU'D LIKE TO HEAR ME REMINISCE ABOUT? IF SO LET ME KNOW AND I'LL BLOG ABOUT IT.

Hey Y'all!

I've seen a couple of pretty nifty suggestions, the Jacksons Variety Hour and the MSG shows from 2001. Now I have to say, the variety hour was a bit before my time--ten years beforehand--but I have seen a few episoes thanks to youtube and a few other MJ fansites. But from what I've seen, I found it to be very humourous and cute. But all the Varitety shows of the era were. The Osmonds, Soony and Cher, the list is out the door and around the corner. In his 1988 autobigraphy, Moonwalk, Michael says that he didn't like to do the show and he'd often cry between takes. So I haven't really been in the mix on that too much. I do adore all aspects of Michael's life, but for me the attraction starts at around 1980 when he was just off of "Off the Wall"  I like Michael as a grown up man.  ;D That's how I'll remember him most, after he came into his own as a mature, as a (sort of) sexy induvidual. When he was like 17, he was still a little lanky and trying to find himself.

http://i39.tinypic.com/amr2w7.jpg
Michael is in the orange. Now if I were 17 and this were 1976, I'd go for that in a hot second. But I'm 23 and I like my guys a bit older than me. On a side note, doesn't Jackie (green) have the BEST DAMN AFRO?

Now I have a better aspect on the MSG shows. Because I was actually around when it happened. Gosh, that's another sort of happy memory. I remember hearing the word on MJIFC.com (Michael Jacksonb Internet Fanclub) that Michael was going to do a concert, and I almost had a meltdown right there, I was so frigging excited I coulda screamed. But I was in the school librabry so I had to shut up. Anyway, as soon as I got home, I begged and pleded, b(bleep)ed and cried to my mother to take me to see Michael. When she found out it was in New York and the tickets were going for 1000 dollars, it was "aw hell no!"
I even told her I wouldn't have to eat and that I could sleep in her car if she took me.
It was still aq flat no.
I was pissed, but I knew I coulnt do anything but wait for it to be broadcast on the TV a few months later. (The day I found that out, I got ejected from the library for screaming! LOL)
The only thing that really ruined the excitement was the 9/11 attacks and for 2 days, I was worried sick that something had happened to Michael. And it really didn't help that my English teacher told me that Michael WAS in the Word Trade Center. I didn';t know what the hell it was, I thouht it was a fancy hotel and when I started wigging out in the hall, he quickly said he was joking.
I punched him.  >:( Don't care that he was a teacher, I got him square in the stomach and walked off. Never got in trouble for it either.
Anyways. in November of 2001, it finally aired.
Oh my God, I was bored to death for an hour by everyone else singing. People who I really didn't give a hoot about trying to sing MJ songs. And Michael smiling politely at them for trying. The only thing I really liked when Shaggy and Rik Rok camr out and sang "It wasn't me" I didn't even know Michael listened to rap. I don't.  Sounds like a cattle auction set to music.
Anyway, after like an hour of straining my eyes to see Michael in every shot, the time came. Time for the Jacksons to come out.
And when they did, it was with a bang and I was sitting on the floor of my den cheering. I remember I saw Michael first then noticed Jermaine.  ???

http://mjjpictures.free.fr/invincible/msg/jacksons/005.jpg
Like I said you gotta do something to draw attention AWAY from Michael Jackson and for once Jermaine succeeded. I spent the next daqy answering "What the hell ws Jermaine wearing?" I don't ubnderstand Jermaine. I don't try. I treat him like Dion, smile at him and act like nothing is off.

So the Jacksons were performing and I was bobbing along and singing. I was waiting for Michael to have a solo spot.
The only thing I couldn't stand was the next daqy EVERYONE was asking ME why Michael was on tv, like I had gotten together with CBS and planned the whole thing my damn self. This is why I always have answers, because someone always approaches me with something Michael did like I was responsible for it. It's not like I pulled Michael out the bed, stripped him nude, bathed him, coiffed and dressed him and kicked him out onstage with his brothers. . He went out on his own. And I enjoyed it. (Do you think I could go toe to toe with Tito? Please!)

http://mjjpictures.free.fr/invincible/msg/jacksons/036.jpg

Gosh it was so electrifying to see Michael in that white get up, moving andbanging out steps, shaking it like nothing else. But I was idly waiting for Billie Jean. That's all I wanted to hear, Billie Jean. That was my jam, and I needed to hear it.
God  when Michael strolled out with that little suitcase and pulled THE JACKET OUT, I remember leaping to my feet jumping and shouting "IT'S BILLIE JEAN! MAMA! HE'S DOING BILLIE JEAN!"

http://mjjpictures.free.fr/invincible/msg/bj/001.jpg
It was just wonderful, remarkable when Michael was dancing. I think I cried. I saw a lady and her friend jjust snotting away on tv and I cried. I was just so excited, happy, in love, call it what you want.
There was one precise moment where I screamed like a chick in a horror film and I can't find a pic of the exact moment, but if you see the video clip, Michael is freestyling to the intrimental and like sticks out one finger and pushes it forward, the glove sparkling. It was like a call to me. "Shamone Tiffie! SHAMONE!"  ;D I was silly when I was 15.

The night ended with "You Rock my World" which was really cute. I loved when one part, Michael passed the camera and little bead of sweat dropped off his chin onto his chest. My friend Stacie fainted when she saw that. LOL.

http://mjjpictures.free.fr/invincible/msg/yrmw/003.jpg
It was great, almost as if I'd been there. And though I can't see Michael in concert now, I do have a creative and a writer's mind and can imagine what a Michael concert is like for real.  ;)

Hi Gang!  ;D

@Howard:  :( Unfourtunately, I haven't had the thrill of seeing the "Thriller" live and in person. I've dreamt of it since I was 9. And I was looking forward to him coming to the USA after his gig in London. But alas it wasn't meant to be. I've had a hell of a 2 years. First my mother goes to Heaven, then  my kidney's malfuntion and I have 3 surgeries to treat them and then on top of that Michael Jackson left this world. Someone call Guiness. Oh well, its Gods work and I must accept it. And yes, the concert was from 2001.It wasn't a tour, just a couple of dates.

@Coqueta: Watching Michael made my night. That was something I prided myself on. It took alot of work, but most of the time I knew where he was and what he was doing because I had friends who were always asking about him. I still don't know why people treated me like I was his keeper or his wife...but that was life. (People were always refer to Michael as "your man". I'm a fan...not his wife. LOL. Though I am cuter than Lisa and Debbie)  ::) Especially Debbie. I'm lost on Jermaine. I felt his look in the 80s, but in the 90s, the man lost me. And that get up onstage...that had to be HOT man!

@Michael C.: I wish I had Tv One. That sounds cool. The Jacksons did have a wonderful harmony. Everyone always talks about how talented Michael is and he is, but his brothers are all lovely singers and are talented too. One of my favorite Jacksons songs is Torture. Michael and Jermaine did vocals on the song, but did not appear in the video. But I was more than delighted with Marlon in his sparkly jacket and spandex trousers. And it was the first time I noticed how handsome Jackie was.
Not fair! All those handsome men in one family and all married! LOL!

I just want to say that even though it's been a week since Michael Jackson died, I'm still mourning, and I'm still in shock.  When I first heard the news that he passed away, I was in shock that I called everybody that heard it.  I didn't want to believe it, but when I went to the record store in downtown Philly three days ago and I saw the videos that I haven't seen in years, I went home and started hysterically crying.  I'm 32 years old.  I grew up on Michael Jackson during the Off The Wall, Thriller, and Bad era.  I was 2, 3, and 4 years old during the Off The Wall era (1979-1981).  I was 5, 6, 7, and 8 during the Thriller era (1982-1985).  I was 10, 11, and 12 during the Bad era(1987-1989).  I was 14, 15, and 16 during Dangerous era (1991-1993).  I was 18 when HISTORY came out in 1995 my high school graduated year, and I was 20 when he came out with Blood On The Dancefloor.  After History, I kind of outgrown him a little bit.  Michael Jackson was the epitome of my youth and young adult years, and with him gone, I will never be the same again.  I experienced the Michael Jackson explosion in the 80s as a child and preteen. I was there.  My father bought me a Michael Jackson doll, a Michael Jackson book, Michael Jackson stickers, a Michael Jackson viewer.  My brother had the Thriller jacket. I saw Motown 25 when I was 6 in 1983 when he first did the moonwalk.  My mother and father saw the Jackson 5 when they performed at the Uptown Theatre in the late 60s.  They had their start in Philly (as far as stardom is concerned, not as far as where they began as a group) at Uptown Theatre because if you didn't make it in Philly first, you are not going to make it anywhere.  Phlliy is the toughest place to perform.  We embraced talent here.  We don't play that. If you are corny, you will not come back here.  Bottom line.  Michael and his brothers recorded records here in Philly after Jermaine Jackson left the group.  They worked with Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff in the mid 70s from 1975 to 1977.  So I had a lot of history when it comes to Michael Jackson.  I may not saw him in person, but I experienced his culture.  My very first musical celebrity male crush as a little girl in the 80s was Michael Jackson.  I was around when he was still brown skinned.  I'm going to miss Michael Jackson.  He was my childhood because I actually was there when he began to REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY blew up globally by himself in the 80s.  My father went to the Victory Tour in the mid 80s.  This has been the most devastating moment of my life.

Thinking of you and all of MJ's fans today, Tiff.

While I wouldn't count myself amongst the rabid fans, I've really very much enjoyed each of the performances I've seen over the years.  Especially the Motown25 one.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Y_-Jw7hq5s

I'm sure you've probably seen his audition film (or the film they took of the group as they were auditioning, I should say.)  A lil snippet was shown for Motown25.  Even then he was mesmerising.

He always gave 200% of himself to the audiance in every performance, and I just think that that can drain a person (over time) of their life energy.  Heck I have trouble giving of myself (my personality) to even one person face-to-face, let alone thousands of people that feel like they are your best friend.  I can't even imagine how hard that would have been.

Did you know he has an actual U.S. Patent for the "anti-gravity" lean he did in Smooth Criminal?  That was pretty cool (as was the rest of his choreography over the years.)

He will be missed by many people, including me.

Hi Everyone.

I want to thank all of you for the kind words and thoughts in these past few days after Michael left this Earth. It has been hard, but I've managed to stay calm through it all. I had a pretty wild day yesterday.
I was, unfourtunately, stuck in dialysis while the memorial was going on, but I did watch it and tape it at home. The service was extremely sweet and touching. And true to form, I didn't cry. I knew that Michael wouldn't want me to cry, so I didn't.
The day was almost perfect...Michael was getting the love and affection he deserved and really swell send off. His cute little daughter professed her love for him publicly...
And then I got into a fight.  ::) In dialysis.
I was sitting, almost done with my treatment and chatting with the nurse who was helping a man in the chair next to mine. I was NOT talking to him, but he jumped in it anyway and said that Michael was getting too much coverage and that he was just dead.
And I got pissed--OF COURSE--and said "I was addressing the nurse, not you" and he was like "pardon me".
But it didn't sit well with me at all.
Now I respect people's opinions and I have no problem accepting that some people just do not like Michael Jackson. But if you're going to come out and attack me--which this ass was clearly doing--then I'm not going to wither away and let you walk on me.
So about ten minutes later, I was off the machine and I strolled over to him. And I told him something along the lines of it was being disrespcectful because Michael wasn't here to defend himself, and then the man of course had to play the child molester card. That line is so tired now.  >:(
I told him I pitied him for being ignorant (I did not care at all that this person was old enough to be my father.  ;D ) and he called me a fool. That was the best he could come up with--a fool. LMAO.
And I said "Well, when you sell 750 million albums and contribute to over 40 charities, then you can have room to talk. Michael was a human whose life was lost and he should at least show some kind of respect.
Then that SOB said "You can't tell me what to think or how to react." I just smiled and walked away, calling over my shoulder, "It's a free country, I can say what I want."  ;)
I wanted to do more, like slap the area where the needle was jammed in his arm for treatment and make it pop out, but I knew I couldn't. LOL.

But I do plan to annoy the hell out this man--wordlessly--the next time I see him. Should he sit next to me, he will be staring eye to groin with a framed 8x10 of Michael Jackson grabbing his crotch. And I have hundreds of pics of Michael doing that. Enough to last me for however long I have to go to dialysis.  (Dion laughed till he cried when I told him I'd do that!)

This is gonna be FUN. And I will report on how he "reacts" to Michael.  :)

Like I said, I can take a differing opinion, but don't be malicious to me.

I just kind of feel ashamed because I thought that if anyone would at least sypathetic, it would be a Black man. And he was the ONLY person to gimme hell about Michael. Everyone else in the clinic was nice and was saying nice things to me.

I have respect for Michael and what he lived and stood for.

But all of Y'all already know that. LOL.

PS--Bookmistress! I'd like that book! I've been on an MJing binge! LOL! And I always giggle when I see those pics. I love them! Thank you! Michael is smiling at me!

@Howard: Yes, I got the email your mother sent to me. And no, if I got a shirt made, I'd want it to be exclusively MJ. I want to give him the solo spot. I'll be in touch when I'm able to actuall purchase the shirt because things got away from me today and I had an MJ binge overload at the mall. LOL. Let me get back to you.  ;)

@Coqueta: Thank you for agreeing with me about Michael. I'm so over that old ignorant fool. I went to dialysis yesterday and I was waiting for him too. I had a large framed pic of Michael grabbing his crotch near me and was ready to blast Michael's music at him. I even set the rintone to my cellphone to "Bad" I was READY! And he never showed his face.  ;D I was rolling. I don't  know if he changed his appointment or if he just didn't want to see me or what. LOL. But I'll chalk that up as a win for Team Jackson.  ;)

@Bookmistress: That's okay about the book. I bought a commemorative one today at Books-a-million.  :) But thanks for thinking of me.

Hey Y'all!

@Bookmistess: I am so totally digging the Angel Michael you created. It's so lovely. I really love how you made his outfit sparkly. You know when people were still yakking about the tour, I had posted a pic of an all white, jeweled ensemble that Liberace wore in concert and I said that it would look awesome on Michael. I was just kind of mystified by the idea of Michael looking like he was wearing his glove. Unfourtunately, I was in the damn minority on the fanclub. Everyone was like it'd be too heavy for Michael to wear. Um, I've seen Michael shake it in a 40 pound jacket, this couldn't be that much harder.  ::) But you kind of made my dream come true, so thank you so much! Karma Honey!

@Howard: Your Angel is lovely too. I wish you'd made that pic larger so I could use it as a wallpaper. Karma too!

Tuesday July 14, 2009 (Bastille Day--Hey! I took French for four years!  :) )
6:24 PM

Hey Y'all!

Sorry I haven't written sooner, but I've been kind of tied up.  ::) In the time since Michael Jackson has gone to Heaven, I've been kind of a little wiggy. Crops of Michael Jackson commemorative items are popping up all over the place and I've been buying in bulk in the last two weeks. It's gotten kind of ridiculous. But it was kind of new to me. I've never really walked into a store before and see up to ten different titles all with Michael's face plastered on the front. I almost feel like I'm stuck back in the 80s. There's so much it makes my head swim. And it's kind of turned into a competition between me and my girlfriends to see who can get what first.
So far I am the clear cut champion--as if there was any doubt. It's pretty embarrasing but this is what I've gotten my hands on so far.
--THIRTEEN different commorative magazines (and going for more I have only ONE friend with more than me. My friend Cathy has SIXTEEN) But Cathy lives in Maine so she's not in the Texas bubble with the rest of us.

--THREE posters. (SIX on the way next month. LOL)
--ONE shirt (going for one tomorrow)
--I also got three concert DVDs, but I don't count those because my order for those went in two weeks before the fact.

Dion just kind of stands out the way (so he doesn't get trampled) when I go on the MJ hunt. I'm like a tigress after a gazelle when I'm looking for Michael. He did get angry with me one time when he asked me if it were Prince instead of Michael, would I be shopping for him.

I looked at Dion like lobsters were crawling out his nose and said no.  ??? Like I've said before , I like Prince solely for his appearance and for a few little tunes he sings, but in the time after Michael's leaving this world, I've kind of sat and thought about my fanhood of Prince. I'm not sure what to say. Like I dig the music, but the man is a little pompous and arrogant. And I still don't know what I'd say to Prince beyond a "how do you do" should I ever meet him. I really would not be able to hold a conversation with him. You know other than about HIM.  :D I just relate differently to Prince than I ever did to Michael Jackson. I felt Michael, I knew where he was coming from.
We may have been on different levels, but we kind of were the same. Artistic, misunderstood, and kind of in a spotlight. Mine was incredibly smaller of course. But as a child I was in the pageants, in the girl scouts, in the choir--in church and school--and in later years also my mothers caregiver. And I've always felt this pressure to be the best I could. Make my mother proud. Be polite, bring home nice grades, don't get knocked up in high school, you know the list is out the door.
I kind of identified with Michael because I saw he was pressured but really flourished in his element. Singing and dancing was his element, writing and pageants are mine. (As you can tell LOL)
I always kind of envisioned Michael and Prince as two kids in school.
Michael would be the boy I sat and ate lunch with and would be buddies with. Prince is the boy that would be beating Michael up in the playground.(Then you know, Jermaine would come and kick him)  Prince is just radical and grew up extremely differently from me. He got kicked out of his house at 12 and lived on his own from then on.
At twelve my curfew was 4 pm. Unless I was in church or pageant practice. I never even dreamed of a life like that and was pretty surprised actually that Prince is as "normal" as he is now. But I came out alright. A little removed from it all, a little behind maybe, but I'd rather be where I am now then with a house full of kids each with a different father like many girls I know. I knew SEVEN pregnant girls in my graduating class. They had baby showers instead of coming out parties.

I have strayed from my topic a bit, but everything kind of runs together. I think personality wise--I just get Michael more. I'm drawn to people more who I see as kind and polite and sweet. That was Michael. I mean look at him, look at his family, all close and tight. It was YEARS before I learned Prince even had siblings. I thought he was an only child. (With a name like Prince, i mean hello) And I really do just like the man for his looks. And that's very superficial on my part but I just don't share the same attachment to him that I had to Michael.
And if the shoe was on the other foot--while Dion is in the looney bin--I would be posting my Prince collection on eBay.  ;D I mean wouldn't Prince want his fans to get paid? I mean over 30 years dealing with his pissant attitude, we should get something.  :)

Gosh...I think the Purple Reign is coming to an with me.  :(

Well, it's been a hell of a three years. Prince and I lasted as long as Nick and Jessica. (And my IQ is 132  ;) )

Um...if it's any consolation, I still like Apollonia.

Everytime that you make a picture using their website, they ask you to vote for another picture that somebody else made, then they tally up the results.  Apparently I got alot of votes, probably because it was somewhat different then alot of the other MJ pictures I'd seen there.
Regardless, I wanted to do something (even though it was a small thing) to honor an entertainer that truly gave of himself for decades.  He was amazing to watch.  Plus I like to do digital "artwork" so that was what I decided to do.  :)

Just got results today from the contest.  My angel Michael (dancing with the angels), I placed 44th out of 2906 entries.  So that wasn't half bad.
Didn't win anything though.  Oh well.

My other one, didn't do quite as good.   ;D  It ranked 796.  But hey, at least I made the top 1,000 with that one.   ;D

Here are results from the contest:  http://blingee.com/competition/rankings/1093?page=1

congrats Patty.... 44th, being my favorite number, is damn good!!! especially out of nearly 3000 entries!  and the other one ranked in the top 25% or something... I don't really know... cuz... you... know... math...  :-\\

Hey Y'all.

:( I wasn't even aware that there was a Farrah Magazine. Even more interesting, how she managed to get into my blog thread. LOL.

Main thing--Billzy, how on earth did you manage to find 64 different magazines! You're making me look bad honey! (I only got 25 and two books)  :( Well I can't expect much from this dive I call a town. I know I've gotten every single one in town. And I try to get the nice ones. (That means no tabloids and no more with that pic of Michael with the tube down his throat in the ambulance.) I have been sifiting through tons of MJ collectibles, and with so much flooding the market, I'm not buying everything that's there--because I'd go broke and my poor mother would spin in her grave--I just buy what I like and what "speaks" to me. Michael wouldn't want me to go broke over him, and I don't intend to either.

I'm sorry I haven't written a blog in a while. But to be honest, not much has really happened. Dialysis has been kind of draining for me,(major bleeping bummer!  >:( ) and Dion has been behaving.  ::) One interesting thing though. I went to dinner with a couple of friends at a buffet last friday, and I tried a fried frog's leg. I actually liked it and it tasted like chicken . I think Andrew Zimmern would be proud of me. LOL. I just figure if something strange pops up, life is too short to not taste it, just to say I did.

I will post a blog soon!  ;D

I HATE NEEDLES!   >:(

Hey Y'all,

I have had one heck of a day. I know I say that quite frequently, but really, today takes the cake.  Today, I had to go out of town to a place called Friendswood--just outside of Houston--to go start the process of trying to find a match for me so I can get a kidney. The only problem was, I had to get up at FOUR AM to make my 8:30 appointment.  >:( I'm not a morning bird, and I also hadn''t gotten any more than maybe an hour of sleep because I was worried what all was going to be done to me. It wasn't so bad at first. I met with a doctor, a surgeon and a nutritionist, to discuss my health and everything. They all gave me a thumbs-up and said I was a good candidate for surgery. So that made me happy.  :) (The nutuiopnist seemed surprised that I nknew everything going on with me...I mean, hello, it is my body, if any one should know everything, it's ME!) And before I left, I was told that I would have to have an X-ray, which was okay because I was in an out in like 5 minutes.

And then the drama started. I was told that I was going to have blood drawn. I hate needles the way a Michael Jackson fan hate Tom Snedass--um, Sneddon. I mean needles just freak me out. I know I have to have blood work done frequently, but it still doesn't beat the fact that I can't stand to see a little metal foreign object sliding into my vein!  8-P

So I go and get in the chair with a very nice nurse named Sarah. She was so sweet to put up with me. The type of needle they use to draw blood is called a 23 guage butterfly needle--I told you I knew this stuff--and  hell I don't like it.

This is the needle they used on me:

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_rNnvOkJf26I/R8Yzntt1o2I/AAAAAAAAApw/r09x2IBB-uQ/s400/ButterflyNeedle.jpg

And whilke I was trying to get prepared for the needle, I then noticed HOW MANY little blood tubes Sarah was collecting. I flipped when she came up with FIFTEEN. FIFTEEN! ARE YOU READING THIS? FIFTEEN TUBES!  :o
I looked at her like she was crazy and asked if those were for me and she said "YES".  :\'(

So after 15 minutes of nervous banter and half-assed jokes, the needle went into the back of my hand.
And hell popped open and swallowed me up.  >:(

After seven of the tubes, my blood stopped coming and I was informed that I would have to be STUCK AGAIN! I was mad as I don't know what, and complaining and turning into the biggest brat since Paris Hilton. I was just so distressed at having to have another needle put in my arm. I even pleaded with my dad to make them stop. He said no, so I "politely" asked him to go back to the waiting room.  ::) After another 15 minutes of nervous banter and half-assed jokes, Sarah and another nurse--I didn't ask her name, because at the time, she could have been Michael Jackson buck naked with a grin and I wouldn't have cared!  >:(  >:(  >:(  >:(
Sarah plunged the second needle in my arm where the elbuw bends and I screamed because it HURT, like someone pulled off my eyebrow in one yank.  :o And if that wasn't bad enough, the second nurse then proceeded to WIGGLE and TWIST the needle. I wanted to cry it was so painful.  >:(
Finally they let me go and I don't think I ever said that many prayers. I got the heck out of there. There is a bruise from the seond needle. I knew it would bruise because I once had an IV in the same spot and it stayed bruised for a week.

I still have more testing to do, but I really hope that the worst is over. I just really hope to get a kidney and that this whole thing can be put behind me. Gosh.

Hi Coqueta.

Thank you. I hope that I find one soon, but I know I have a wait. My case worker told me that there were 85 thousand people waiting for a kidney. That's an MJ concert waiting for a kidney. I've been told that the wait is between 1-3 years based on my blood type, but I'm just leaving it to God to send my kidney to me.  :)

That's all I can do. Leave it to God and try to stay positive.

Hi Y'all!

Sorry I haven't blogged in a good while, but I've been busy with all sorts of things. I was tierd up for most of the time getting tested and all for my kidney. I never realized the process was so extensive until I spent 16 houes in the hospital for 6 tests! SIX. And I still have more to do. I've had heart scans, tummy scans, blood drawn  >:( . The doctors apparently want you to be in tip top health--or Wonder Woman--to get a kidney.  :)
But I don't wanna talk about that sort of thing, it's kind of depressing. Well it doesn't depress me that much. Let me have some Michael Jackson , and I'm happy.

Anyway, there's more going on  that medical stuff. It has finally happened.

My friend Momo--the Apollonia incarnation--has finally decided that she wants to do a beauty pageant.  :o Her mother has been trying for over a year to get Momo into a pageant. They are currently searching voy boards for a pageant in Texas and I have been asked to sketch her outfits.  ;D I'm not sure what all Momo and her mother want, but I do know that Momo wants to do a Michael Jackson themed talent. I just told her to pick a song and we'd go from there. But I am excited and I hope I might be able to go to the pageant. (I can't compete, but I'd like to support Momo!)

Nothing much else has happened. Dion has been behaving and hasn't gotten any traffic tickets lately.  ;D I'm proud of him. LOL. And he keeps finding MJ magazines for me and bringing them to me. My collection is at 34 now.  ;) I attrated to an MJ pic like a fat man to a pork chop. As long as nice magazines keep popping up, I'll get them. (Or Dion will. lol...)

Well that's what's up with me so far. LOL. If anything interesting happens, I will blog it.

Hey Y'all!  :)

Remember how in my last post I said I'd blog again when something interesting happened? Well, it happened. Are y'all comfortable becuause this will knock your toenails off.

A TORNADO HIT MY TOWN TODAY!!!!!  :o

No  kidding.  Okay, earlier today, I was in hell--more commonly known as dialysis in other circles--and I was nearing the end of my treatment and was watching a medial show. I'm just a geek like that. So as I'm sitting and watching tv, I notice that the cell phones of most of the people around me started ringing at the same time. I thought it was a little odd that like 10 different phones went off, but didn't really pay that much attention.
Then the phone on Tagena (I swear to god, that's her name) a nurse rang and she picked it up and was like "WHAT?"  :o So then she started calling to the other nurses and was saying that across town a tornado had hit the mall and Walmart.
That got my attention and I turned on the news and there it was.

The mall was wrecked and cars in the mall's lot had windows blown out. It was even worse at Wallmart. Cars had been PICKED up like stacked on each other! It looked like something in a movie, but it was real!

I'm, glad it didn't hit my house. All of my friends and I called bakc and forth and we're all okay. I'm glad that everyone I know was spared. I'm just sad that other peope had to go through that.

I hope nothing THAT interesting happens tomorrow.

Yikes!  A tornado!  And so close to you too!  :o

I'm really glad you and your friends are OK.  I feel really bad for the people affected by the tornado, too.

Hi Y'all!

I just noticed all your nice comments!

@Howard: Thank you. I hope my kidney comes soon. (and LOL at your comment about Michael)

@Snoz: I'm a Wimp with a capital "W" studded with diamonds. I think the nurses hate when I come in because I take so long whining. I have a numbing cream to put on my arm before the needle goes in, but I still kind of fell it when they put the needle in. And if some saline hts the wound when they pull it out--you see STARS! I hate needles and people keep telling me I need to get used to it, but I can't. I'm scared of needles and I always will be. (wait til thursday, I have to get some shots that day... :o ) But I can't not do it, cause if I skip it, I die basically. And I die slowly. Cause when I was sick before I was diagnosed I was EXTREMELY close to dying. (I was a afraid to go to sleep, because I didn't think I'd wake up and I didn't want my father to find me ) I was like a sideshow at the circus at the hospital because a ton of doctors would come into my room and just be amazed because I was even alive. (they told me my hemoglobin in my blood was 5, which is apparently in the fatal range) Plus I hadn't eaten in 3 months so I was malnourished and dehydrated.... :o Lucky and blessed to be here. It's unpleasant, but it keeps me alive.  :) LOL. Don't ask how I'm staying upbeat, I just AM.

@Coqueta: It was wild. If I hadn't heard the women at the dialysis place talking about it, I'd have never known. It was just raining today and now that. It kinda freaked me out. I hate those kinds of things.

Okay is it wrong that I laughed a little when you said the Tornado hit walmart?

anyway- glad you're safe.

Tiff you have an amazing spirit! I don't know if I could be as upbeat as you with all you've been thru. I won't ask how you do it but I will take this time to say that you are an inspiration!  :)  even if you are a baby when it comes to needles... ;)
