I like David Blaine's card tricks as well.  They are illusions, but what I like is not knowing how they are done.  The best magic is when you don't know the answer.

I like street magic.  My brother John would have baseball games/ practice and I would bring some cards and things to show kids.  I came up with a performance I call cup and balls also known as shut up you little know it all brats.  Show one pom pom, put it in the can, wave my hand over it and there are two pom poms.  after hearing everyone tell me what I did I get to play upset.  Yea I had two balls the whole time squished together...  I'd end up with three pom poms when I'm done.

...till I discovered how it was done.

I can do the three rope trick-where you have 3 different size ropes and you turn then into the same size.

Another trick I like doing is with a braclet sized ring and a string.  Wrap the string around, show them the string is wrapped around it and it's not going to fall, " I need my wand I think it's in my pocket can you hold this end for me.  The ring falls Falls as I'm getting my wand.
