Subject: Name the new puppeh!

So apparently our family Chocolate Labrador became a father six weeks ago. The female had a litter, but only one was his. The rest were fathered by other dogs (don't ask, it does happen). Anywho, my mom adopted Blue's (the family Labrador) puppy. He was brought to my mom tonight. Here he is:

My mom can't think of any names for him, so suggestions are welcome, but I really just posted this because the dog is frickin' cute. ;D

Nicole came up with "Zeus". Puppeh would grow to 140lbs with a name like that! ;) I think that would work, plus it reminds me of this exchange:
Zeus: Why you keep calling me Jésus? I look Puerto Rican to you?

I did have a cat named Bear. At the same time, my ex-mother-in-law had a black lab named Bear, too.

I'm passing on all suggestions of names to my mom. After seeing how dark he is and knowing he has white patches on his paws and chest (just like Blue!), I suggested Oreo, but I don't know if she's going to go for that one. :D

naw...marley and me killed any inklings... I'm gonna wait till after paley fest this year since that takes me away from home for two weeks it'd be cruel to adopt a pup and then abandon it for two weeks.

I once had a dream that I had a white German Shepard by the name of Seneca. Never had a GS in my life but if I did, you can bet what his/her name would be. ;)

ummm because I didn't want to completely jinx the dogs... plus I when I was in HS I was crazy about Buddy Holly and the Crickets... I was a weird kid- considering it was the early to mid 80s ;)
