Basically the back story is that they have had such heavy snow in Scotland the penguins have been getting very excited to be out in it, so they put up a webcam.

Edinburgh, Scotland

No penguins were out this early. I wanna see a penguin in a kilt (preferably my family's tartan)  lol

I gotta figure out what software I need to view the webcam.  It worked the first time I saw it but then hubby installed a video card and some RAM (I think that's what that was) and now Penguincam won't work for me.

Anybody been to the Edinburgh zoo youtube channel yet?  They have a Star Wars May 4th penguin march video that had me laughing. (I'm so easily amused.)

yeah I saw that and two bear cubs playing before I got to the one I was suppose to see.  that reminds me, I got an e-mail from my aunt Mo and uncle Mel with some awesome animal pictures that I should put in photobucket.

What do they eat? ???
1 . Penguins eat krill (a shrimplike crustacean in the family Euphausiidae), squids, and fishes. Various species of penguins have slightly different food preferences, which reduces competition among species.

2. The smaller penguin species of the Antarctic and the subantarctic primarily feed on krill and squids. Species found farther north tend to eat fishes.

3. Adélies feed primarily on small krill, while chinstraps forage for large krill.

4. Emperors and kings primarily eat fishes and squids.
