I found a pic of a butterfly (my mom has a thing for yellow butterflies they represent the spirit of her mother...) so I lifted this pic from the net and got it printed 11x14 at costco... it just has to be a good resolution to get large prints... but costco has the best prices for prints... I used to pay 5.49 for do it yourself prints at Kinkos (8x10s for la events) then went to walmart for 4.99. Sometimes I can get them done at CVS for 3.99 but they take longer.... lo and behold costco does them for 2.49!!!!

They usually come out at night to sing but if you shine a light on them, they will run (ok, hop away). But for a small little critter, they certainly have a big voice. Here is what it sounds like.

We haven't spent the night there yet so we don't know. It really is a wonderful sound to fall asleep to.

One of many trips to PR, one of Carlos' cousins gave me a big stuffed coqui. You squeeze it and it makes the coqui song.


Many times when we are out on the boat, we are serenaded by a bullfrog on the shore.
