Yeah, to 8 inches of new snow, and more to come.  Sounds GREAT to me.  Instead of 80 degree days, fun at the beach, fruit ripening on the trees.  Yeah I just LOVE winter in Vermont - NOT

But Honey, it won't be 8 inches when we get there because the temps are going up and a lot of that will be melted.

I have more surgery on March 8th, so that'll be good.  Prayers and healing thoughts from anyone that can spare them for me.

Just trying to get things in order up until then, I kind of am plowing through housework, still not where I want it to be, but getting better.  Contrary to popular belief, I DO have a floor.  (Yeah I was surprised too.)  ;) ;D

It did...but for the most part it sucked.

One of my PITA's is gone.  The idiot who left Friday without warning actually showed up yesterday.  My boss got a hold of her, wrote her up and fired her ass.  Some of the others told me she was grinning like an idiot afterwards.  I think her boyfriend told her she would get unemployment if she gets let go.  What he doesn't seem to realize is that you don't get unemployment if you are fired for cause.  You pull crap that gets you fired and no one feels sorry for you.

We changed the way part of the job is run today and one of the others fought me on it.  If we didn't need her right then I would have told her that if she didn't like it she could find another job.  There are so many people out there looking for work right now that replacing her wouldn't be a problem.  It's like they think they are entitled to do whatever they want and if they don't like the work they can get away with not doing it.  Sorry...I don't work that way.

going to the bank again. I went yesterday but didn't fully understand what my mom wanted.  Afterwards she asked me if such and such check was cleared?  how was I suppose to know I was suppose to check?  My mom just wrote on a paper that you wanted both my accounts to be --------------------------------.  Good, come with mom me and tell them yourself because I cant read your mind and you want to continue to talk to a deaf person who has trouble understanding speech.

I think it's one of those death hoax.

As I was seaching to see if there was any news about this and I came across other reports but these were about Jeff Goldblum, Charlie Sheen (not from a drug overdose but a snowboarding accident.) and Adam Sandler.  Apparently they all died today.

Last night was a really rough night for my husband, I am glad I was not there.  My sister-in-law's dog (a pugle - bug/beagle X) fell through the ice at the sand quarry next to their house, he was about 60 ft out from the edge.  Of course no one could get to him.  They could here him howl and whine and whimper.  They called the local volunteer fire department.  They all came out.  The got out the rafts and the boat. They had to break the ice to get to him, they just could not get there soon enough.  They brought the fallen man back though.  My husband was visibly shaken when came through the doors, it's awful to be able to hear and not be able to do anything.  I feel for my S-i-L and her daughter (three) as trying to explain why Duke isn't coming back, K kept insisting Duke be here in the morning...  :\'(

I wish I still had stuff from my childhood, books and mostly toys but my mother was not the kind of person to keep things.  Eventually everything went into the trash.  :(

I've never been neat. As a kid my room was a wreck.
Once my mom got fed up and went they with a garbage bag.
Everything I owned went in it.
I cried for weeks.

It impacted me seriously. I never the lesson about cleaning up after myself but I did develop an unnatural attachment to my stuff.
I'm not quite a hoarder but I'm very close.
I spent years trying to replace stuff I lost. I have an amazing toy collection for a nonpedophilic 43 yr old single childless adult  :D
And I never ever let anything I have the slightest attachment to go
I have books I've never read but want to read, books I've read time and time again, books I read but didn't like/get. I held on to them because I thought maybe as an adult I'd feel differently about them.

My hope is I have time  to read them all.

Is your mother related to mine?  My room was kept spotless when I was a kid because my mother cleaned it (my sister an I tried to clean our rooms but it was never up to my mother's standards).  The inside of my closet and drawers were messy and it drove my mother bonkers.

One Saturday morning I had gone somewhere with my dad and when I got home my mother had emptied the contents of ever single drawer and made a huge pile in the middle of my room.  I had to go thru it all and throw away a bunch of stuff and then neatly put everything back.  I even had to fold my underwear.  ;D

My mom was a compulsive cleaner, everyday all day long.

I refuse to make my kids nuts, if their room is messy, I'll shut the door.  When it needs to be cleaned we clean it up together.

I would love to have some of the toys I had when I was a kid, I just don't have that kind of money to spend.  :\'(

funny thing is my mom wasn't/isn't that compulsive... if I'd thrown my crap in the closet or under the bed she'd've been fine with it but the fact that it was all strewn in the middle of the room that drove her nuts.... the day she cleared out my room she even tore down posters from the wall.. now i ask you what in the world did my posters have to do with the mess on my floor?  ::)

Believe me Carol one of the reasons I'm in the financial bind I'm in now is because of the money I spent 20 yrs ago replacing stuff... it cost me over $300 to get my Charlie's Angels collection back.... thing is I ended up collecting all sorts of tv memoribilia and barbie stuff because while I was scouring the stores and toy conventions for the toys I'd lost I found and fell in love with a bunch more I never owned but decided I had to have... I honestly think that if I had been allowed to naturally grow apart from my toys I wouldn't be as compulsive about having to have them as I am now... actually i'm that compulsive about everything I have to have it right away and when i upgrade or replace something old I have a hard time letting go of the old one - especially if it's in good working order....  :-\\

I replace a lot of things I don't need to replace with stuff I want because it's newer and better... I also buy a lot of stuff i never use just cuz I saw it and wanted it.... no wonder I'm always broke.... windfall comes in.... money goes out... I have never ever successfully saved more than a couple hundred dollars in my life... and um... as soon as it gets high enough to buy something good what I have successfully saved is gone ASAP...

that's why I fear - if I win the lotto i could... easily be broke a couple years later... rest assured tho... I totally had fun while I had the money!!!

Anyway, I persuaded James to dress up as a knight (we had recently bought a knight's outfit for a school assembly).  I'm sure we'll be able to think of a book with a knight in it!
I could only think of "A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court"  or "Sword in the Stone" or "Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" (has people in some sort of armor fighting - if not all knights...  or I think "Inkheart" has knights in it as well...

That's the beauty of being a child, it's easier for them to get past these things.

My kids had a rabbit, it died, they bawled their eyes out for an hour then asked if they could get a lizard.  ;D

Thanks...  quite unfortunate.  I swear my husbands family has the most traumatic pet deaths...  Yorkie swooped up and taken by owl; norwegian elkhound called out by coyotes and only some remains found, another norwegian elkhound with rare abcess/infection of prostate,  backed over a dog (accident - dog was old and couldn't hear)...  I am just hoping the streak does not make it to our house!

The mixed up files of mrs b-something. A story about some kids who live for a short time in the museum of natural history. I think there's a knight in it.

Also wasn't there mention of a knight in the Indian in the cupboard?

In the end he dressed as a character called Jason (purple t-shirt, blue jeans).  This is apparently the main character in some books by Rick Riordan, who wrote the Percy Jackson series.

Fun and games at work today!

Some of our work is through appointments arranged by lads knocking on the doors of a neighbourhood.  we needed to recruit some new lads, so they went out 'body snatching'.  Going around the local shopping area and asking people if they were looking for work, did they want to come for an interview and then bringing them into the office.  Apparently two of them asked a lad who'd been for an interview before, he came into the downstairs office and started to shout to all those waiting about how crap the job was, the pay was etc.  And also having a go at the lads who'd 'recruited' him.  One of the managers stepped in to calm things down and somehow things ended up with the new guy going through our shop window into the street!

We had the police taking statements, paramedics called, lots of paperwork!  Someone walking past at the time was slightly injured by a piece of glass - we were lucky no one was badly cut.

As I left the glazing company was there getting ready to replace the glass.

Yay for Cat and Carlos

Tomorrow I am going with the children to an RAF museum.  It is a trip organised by the scouts and the children will be able to get a badge if they complete the necessary work sheets.  It sounds like it will be a fun, but long, day.

Forgot to say that yesterday James was made a seconder at Cubs.  In the UK each  cub pack (around 20-24 children aged 8-10) is split into smaller groups called sixes and has a sixer in charge.  A seconder is the sixer's assistant.  Being made seconder after only belonging to this pack since September is pretty good going.

I read on their show website that the producer is supposed to have a party to celebrate the series coming out on DVD or Blu-ray or something.  They are having it at some bar in Pasadena, with some special appearances by stars of the series apparently.  Plus they will have special zombie inspired cocktails and dinner (although zombie dinner would entail... B-R-A-I-N-S... wouldn't they?  ???)  Anyways if I were in Cali I might consider going to it, it's $35 but they are giving away a few copies of the series season DVD.
Have fun, I'll be being all jealous over here in gloomy Pittsburgh (home of the original zombies)  lol

The laptop died.  :\'( :\'( :\'(  Good thing it happened AFTER we got home and AFTER I transferred files. I think I know the problem-the power cord. I was just going to buy a new cord but Carlos wants to take it to Radio Shack just to make sure.

Oh yeah, Granddaughter #1 has the chicken pox-which in a strange way is a good thing. My step-daughter has been wanting her get them. (I know it sounds strange.) Having them as a kid is good-having them as an adult is bad. She has been having lots of play dates with other kids to expose the other kids to them (including Grandson). Good thing she came down with them AFTER she got home. However, I wonder if she didn't give them to people she encountered in PR.  :-\\

GD1 will have been most infectious in the last couple of days before the spots came out so there is a possibility she passed the 'favour' on.

Hope the laptop can be fixed easily

That's funny, I called her Boo Boo for a little bit too.  It went to Boo Bear, then Boo Da Bear, and now either Boo or Booda.

I called her Boo before Monsters, Inc came out.  I called her Boo one day in the store and the clerk asked if it was because of the movie.  I hadn't thought of it until then. ;D

Our's was boo boo, and it was based off of Yogi Bear (my husband likes to do his yogi impression, Heeyy Boo Boo, yu wanna see me steal this a pic-a-nic basket????) and she would squeal and laugh... so boo boo stuck.  ANd yes then we noticed Monster's Inc was boo.  I seem to buy all sort of stuff on it that says Boo too (mostly Halloween stuff - but sometimes I find things that don't necessarily look so Halloweeny).  I feel sorry for our second as she became Bre Bre (Boo Boo and Bre Bre), I can't find a dang thing that has Bre bre on it  :P

My Boo Boo was from Yogi, too.  I had a Boo Boo sleeping bag growing up...he was my fave.  I shortened it to Boo because I didn't want her to equate her nick name with mistake.  Being a single parent, I was really worried she might think she was a mistake.  Probably a little over the top but I was young. ;D

Still whatever and still looking up information.  I've been mentioning medicence for ADD and medicene is a huge last resort for me.  This isn't just a headache pill, but it can mess up the brain.  I know and have kept this in mind and have re looked into gifted.  I'd much rather change my atmosphere first before possibly ruining my brain.  also considering the fact that I'm disabled living with a non disabled family.  That isn't ADD for sure.  I know I have some symptoms of ADD, but there's a lot of other stuff to consider before I drug myself.  I just go crazy and am surprised I haven't done away with myself yet.  I must be gifted.

Tonight is a parent-teacher conference with James's teacher and then I am helping cook pancakes at his Cub meeting.

Finally got the living room clean.  Hallaluah!  It's mostly just sorting through paper, because I have to save all the receipts for paperwork later in the year and often neglect sorting it out at the time of getting the receipt, it's always a bit of a chore.  But since stuck in a sitting position, I am catching up on sorting stuff out and watching all my DVR saves that was nearly full so I can finally make room for new stuff.  I still have stuff I want to transfer from Halloween and Christmas.  Sorting bills and photos and tons of other low-active things to do still, in between measuring the rather interesting liquid coming from my body.  Bleh.  8-P

Oddly enough, have not felt like playing facebook games lately.  It all doesn't seem to matter much anymore.  Imagine that.  lol

Dai was in charge of rotavating and the kids and I picked up the roots, stones, builder's rubble, etc.  We also dug a load of bricks and other assorted rubbish out of one area of the garden.  There was too much stuff to dig out so we still need to tackle that area.

We wanted to do that a few years back. Carlos informed me that he didn't want to do it. Fair enough. I called around to hire someone to come out and do it and people didn't return my phone calls. Finally after seeing the trouble I had hiring someone to do it, Carlos said that he would and rented a rototiller.

Wars of the Roses: A Time Team Special
Tony Robinson heads to Leicestershire to examine archaeological discoveries at the site of the Battle of Bosworth, a confrontation that took place in 1485 and led to Henry Tudor taking the English Crown. Artefacts are unearthed that challenge the traditional interpretation of events, and Tony hears from experts who believe that not only were gunpowder weapons used in far greater numbers than previously thought , but also that the encounter was fought in a different place

The Ides is the middle of the month (March 15) and during the Roman Empire (which used a lunar calendar), the full moon fell on the Ides. Julius Ceaser was forewarned by a seer to "Beware of the Ides of March" which he paid no heed to and that was the day he was assassinated. (See, Shakespeare's play Julius Ceaser).

I guess it's softball/basball season again.  Saw some friends at the ballfield last night while Megan was practicing. I was so proud of Meg, she has really improved this year, they moved her from outfield to 3rd base, she threw the ball so well and hit really good too.  Tonight Hunter has his first practice, should be interesting.  He's only played T-ball so this is going to be totally different.  Sadly, he's not the most co-ordinated kid.  ;D

Well life continues on the farm as normal.  1 very premature calf born unfortunately she did not survive.  2 live calves on the grown and their are spunky as can be.  One bottle raised cow is sick, and she hasn't moved tonight, she was with the other cows last night eating.  Went out to get her up and she can hardly hold her head up, and is too weak to walk up to the lot to get her in.  I took a shot of antibiotic out and a bucket of water. I pray she makes it through the night. My stomach is in knots and I am on the verge of tears.

Thanks, I would think after 11 years I would get used to this...  but nope, I just wish there was something more I could do!  Just took her another bucket of water, first was gone, and gave her some grain (her favorite), she took a couple bites and she was able to toss her head now.  Hopefully some sign of improvement.  Just don't know if worse comes to worse, if I should c-section her to save the calf.  No precise measurement of how far along she is...

Thanks to you too!

Well as typical, nope she did not pull through.  The cow died, I am heart broken, one more reason I do not want to even go out and work with them...  I love the baby calves, they are a joy to see.  But I care, I know some of them are going for meat production and oddly I am OK with that... there is a food chain, and I guess I just feel it is their noble part in life.  I am not ok with an animal I raise, suffering and getting sick that I can not treat/heal/or do anything about...  It hurts my heart, physically their seems to be a constricting band around my heart and in my throat that just hurts.  I hate it.  It seems, by the posting that she may have had a heart attack from "hardware disease", and their was nothing we could do about it or prevent it.  Unfortunately we lost her calf.  My husband said when he checked on her at 4:30 she was alive and when I got up at 6 I knew she was gone.

Since I feel like talking, I'm still not ready to think about taking medicene for the ADD-ADHD that I know I have some of.  I have started taking softchews of omegas 3 6 and 9 ( fatty acids the body needs anyway).  They help me with circulation in the head and have kept me from being sick all winter.  I was looking into possibly herbs, but Ginkgo's possible side affects are way too risky and I've been to a site where St John's Wart shouldn't be taken for ADD.  Herbs have different affects on people anyway and can be far worse then taking the drug a doctor gives you.

I don't think I could do what you do, I'd become way to attached.
I'm a sucker for animals, any kind ('cept 'possums.  ;D).

It's race weekend here in Bristol which means lots and lots of people in town, so we've stayed close to home.

Hunter is sick, I'm thinking it might be the flu.  He's been coughing, sneezing and running a high fever.  This morning it hit his stomach, puking and more.   ;D

Megan's freind is over again, this girl's mom has a new boyfriend and it seems like every weekend the kid is here.  This weekend her mom and boyfriend are at the races (both Saturday and Sunday races), she came home with us after school on Friday and spent the night and was here all day yesterday.  The mom called last night and asked if I could keep her today as well because the grandmother could not.  Of course, I'm a sucker and can't say no.  I did tell her that Hunter's sick and there's a good chance of the girl getting sick but that didn't seem to bother her.  I know the mom is new to dating again after being married for 18 years but she seems to be forgetting about her 10 year old.  I'm thinking about charging her to babysit to pay for the food I'm feeding her kid.  ::)

What gets me is that I would never even consider saying that in front of my friends parents when I was a kid.

My dad was the worst, typical Brooklyn guy ("F" this, "F" that), but he wouldn't let us curse in front of him, heck we couldn't even say "fart" in front of him. ;D  When I was a teen I cussed like a sailor when my parents weren't around.

Going to see A Chorus Line at the college today. Carlos is less than enthused about it. He saw the play many years ago and wasn't really impressed with it. I saw it on Broadway many, many moons ago-it was the first Broadway play I ever saw so I have a special place in my heart for it. But the college is only about 5 miles away and tickets are $12 (Carlos may get them cheaper being a retiree), he can't complain that it is too much inconvenience.

Oh, I found out what is wrong with the laptop. It is NOT the power cord like I thought it was but the battery. We have only had the laptop for a little more than a year. It just seems really early for the battery to die. And of course the warranty ran out yesterday. (Actually, not really sure. have to look for it.)

Thanks Jeff and Sami.  Karma to you both.

Just got home. It's def a slow drip. It's not dripping now but I can see the large stain where water is/has puddled.
You moved the cd's but you didn't put a pan/bucket/bowl under it, we have got to teach you something Q  ;)  I know in various sitcoms they have had roof leaks, and put buckets underneath - I just cannot think of one that comes to mind right now  :P  I hope damage is minimal girl, and your landlords get home soon to get it fixed!

Sorry about your roof leak Q, I heard you guys have gotten about 6 inches of rain in the past day and a half.  Yuck!  (if it were snow, that'd be bout 3 or 4 feet of snow if it were cold enough.  yuck

At least that should somewhat help the ongoing drought, I hope.

Congratulations on the Castle tickets.  I've seen that a couple times, pretty good.

Sorry about the cow and calves Sami.  My condolences

Hubby is putting in a shower tonight.  It'll be rigged as best as he can do.  My surgeon insisted that I had to have a shower.  Even to the point of renting a cheap hotel room for the shower a couple times a week.  :D  Stitches come out next week.  Hubby finished cleaning the living room.  It's gorgeous.  I still have some boxes to go through, when I get some energy to do so.  I should just throw everything away.  If I haven't needed it since I moved 3 years ago, chances are I probably won't ever need it.  ;D

Thanks, just the way of life I guess.

I tell you, the shower thing is completely possible!  It is not that hard! Just get the tub spout with an external shower port (and then screw the shower hosing too it).  Works like a charm!  And my husband and I are not "handy" (we seem to keep getting handier, as I am trying my knack at tiling now - most of the stuff people can do, just have to step out of the comfort zone)....  Good luck, and FOLLOW the Surgeons advice!

Thank you everyone!  I have some time to spread some Karma to those who "helped out"!  I think we are through the worst of.  Heifer is sewn back up, she was drowsy for a long time (even with the reversal agent for the Rompun sedative) so she did not get right up and go lick the calf...  CALF IS HUGE, his name is "Monster" - big bouncing baby boy.

Dagny your question about the c-section....  It can happen, just because of the struggles with the birth and the side effects of the sedatives (both baby and momma - get whoosy) not sure how long or how active they are going to get. If baby isn't active at trying to get up, then pneumonia and navel infections can set in.  Cow if she isn't active at stimulating baby, licking it dry, and encouraging it to get up and nurse; baby will usually die from hypothermia.  WE just did not know, this is a first time calving heifer, just no knowledge on whether she was going to be a "good momma" or not.

I think mom feels like she was hit by a mac truck, and she is slightly annoyed with her bouncing, active baby... but she has licked it, and nursed it a couple times.  "Monster" is hopping around the pen, and mom is layed down with her ears pinned back, and giving the calf "the eyes"...  quite amusing.  I am hoping all goes well from now on.  Only 4 COWS (all have had calves before) left.

Tired

My workplace moved locations today.  And it was very disorganised.  The phones were disconnected at the old office mid-morning.  They weren't expecting to have all the phone lines working in the new place till tomorrow! They also packed the furniture weirdly so they moved filing cabinet drawers but not the main cabinet for example on one trip.  So I was in the new place trying to sort out and tidy up and had nowhere to put things.  worst of all - NO KETTLE!!

And I expect tomorrow will be more of the same

UPDATE (for those who care):

Monster is still doing well.  Looks like we might have to supplement feed him a bottle, along with his momma's milk (she seems to not have much, probably due to her stress and discomfort).  We left them outside in the beautiful sunshine yesterday, it was chilly but he had a good 16 hours in the barn, and was fully functional.  He has a nice thick bed of cornstalks to bed down and warm up in.  He LOVED it, out jumping with his tail just a wagging.  I think mom enjoyed it too, as she was able to get more space away from him and still let him do his own thing.
Monster also has a new play buddy, as Red Cow just had her baby over night, an unassisted baby girl! 3 more cows to go...

I love seeing the babies run and play. Growing up in the city the only cows I ever saw were on our way down to Pennsylvania, grazing in a field.  I had no idea that calves were so playful.

We've also decided to change various aspects of the filing/storage.  Mostly done this today, but there will be one or two wrinkles in the system to sort out next week I'm sure.

We also had fun (!) with the new phone system, sorting out transferring calls between phones, programming the directory, etc.

On the bright side, the office is a bit further to cycle and I will walk further during the day just doing the routine stuff, so I should get more exercise without really trying!

As for us, we are reopening our booth at a different antique mall than we had last year. This one is closer and the rent is SOOOO much cheaper. He even is giving all dealers a freebee for March (since he just opened last weekend for the season. He closes for the winter-which suits us fine since we are not usually here for the winter.) Hopefully, we will be more profitable than we were at the other place-and since the overhead is cheaper, it should be.

And tonight, we are having some friends over for dinner (Carlos' doc & his wife).

Clearing the rubble from the back garden.  We've hired a skip (I don't recall the US name) to dump the big stuff in.  We can reuse some of the bricks to replace the retaining (rotted) wooden walls around a couple of beds.  But we also have concrete, brieze blocks, kerb stones, slabs of tarmac, broken tiles, slates etc etc.  I reckon the awn will be an inch lower when we've removed all this stuff!

Last night as I was getting into the tub, I noticed that my back was really killing me (in one spot). I felt it all last night & of course when I woke up this morning. I was in a dilemma about doing my exercises. Will it stretch this thing out or will it make it worse? I opted to NOT do them (to which Carlos reminded me that I do come up with a lot of excuses for not doing them.  :-[ So instead of the 4 times a week that I had planned, I'm only doing them 3 times.  :-[ )

It is possible that I pulled a muscle. Right now, I have one of those Thermal Care heat pads & I took an ibuprofen. (When I take something, I am in A LOT of pain.) Hopefully, the pain will diminish.

Take your time Cat, sometimes it's better slow down to soon start healthily and strongly what we have in march.
If not, our engine may risk to stop for a long period and we simply can't afford iddle days just looking at the sun.

Ibuprofen is not a candy, but when pain hits hard it comes in handy.

screw up your courage, Cat !!

Thanks all!  The heifers are good enough to make good breeding stock for someone, if not replacement heifers for us.  So they have a few years of life in them.  The bull calf, has a good chance of becoming a steer, which makes him about 18 months away from prime beef.  But oddly how much I likely, I am ok with this...  It is their noble purpose in life.  I hate the tragic deaths!

Not sure what you mean by "regular house". Are you are asking the difference between living on a farm, and living in town?  I can answer that, because I grew up in town and only moved to the country when I got married to my husband.  We have to plan a bit more, as we do not have close stores and such.  The animals have to have food every day, so there are chores.  And one has to learn to put others needs above their own!  As things happen (usually when you have plans to do something you really want) and you have to deal with it first (cattle get out, cattle is sick, or cow having trouble calving, harvest, planting)...  You have to fix their problem, before you can do what you planned.  So you learn to be more flexible.  I also have a greater appreciation for where our food comes from, and nonmatter how bad main stream media want to play "the horrors" of the farm; it is a necessary part of life, and I know that most individuals really care about their herds!

We were talking to our 6 year old granddaughter (Granddaughter #2) who was about to sit down for dinner. We asked her what they were going to have. She said "We are having Sally (or some other name) for dinner" meaning one of their chickens.

what did you make of question 17?
That is the question of the Welsh Census Form, which asks do you speak Welsh, it was kept blank in England, so that it would not upset the format of the questionnaire,  and both printing can be used. The Scottish have a different form altogether.

Today it all worked out...  Came home and my cow "Sophie" had her calf, all on her own/unassisted.  HUGE - bigger than monster, she tore a little.  Sophie is my old cow, I got her as a wedding present - she is 12 years old

Meet Stubs (his tail seems to be broke, we will see - name may change)

Good going, Sophie and welcome Stubs.

We were talking to our 6 year old granddaughter (Granddaughter #2) who was about to sit down for dinner. We asked her what they were going to have. She said "We are having Sally (or some other name) for dinner" meaning one of their chickens.

Yay for older mommy cows!  She deserves karamel.  Please pass it along.  ;)

Update for me:

I am now stitch/suture free.  Got them all out yesterday (100 stitches).  Came home and passed out asleep afterwards in my reclining chair.
Still a little tender moving around but only looking better as time goes by.

It's my favorite number.  It was my body number at work (assigned to me) then my number (picked by me) when I became a dispatcher. Now I have a new body number but I use the old one whenever I can because that's the number I denitrify with

Also

T = 20
Q = 17
G =  7
------------
20 + 17 + 7 = 44  8)
