The smallest tribute yet has been paid to the Royal Wedding - at the Legoland Windsor theme park.

Miniature Lego figures of Prince William, Kate Middleton, the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh - and even the corgis - are all recreated in tiny detail.

The scene also includes crowds, guests and members of the Royal family on Buckingham Palace's famous balcony.

It took model makers at Legoland Windsor more than 30 hours to create using around 10,000 bricks.

Each of the 10cm-high figures that feature in the scene took an hour to put together out of 30-40 bricks.

The happy couple are depicted at the palace gates embracing in front of guardsmen - complete with their bearskins and scarlet tunics - crowds of schoolchildren and well-wishers.

Meanwhile, the Queen and the rest of the Royal family look down from the balcony above.

Buckingham Palace itself utilises 160,000 bricks and was built on a 1:50 scale over 550 hours.

It sits in the Miniland London area of Legoland, which features some of the capital's best known landmarks.

Sue Kemp, Legoland's divisional director, said: "What better way to celebrate it than to pay homage to such an amazing Royal occasion."
