It depends on the cheese. Some I like, some I don't.

Wouldn't it be great if the world worked that way.
"Q hates cheese...so no topics on cheese"

:)

Wouldn't it be great if each member chose only 1 topic (either a food, a celeb, etc. )
And no one was allowed to talk about it? Something they really hated or just couldn't stand (food, odor, politician, celeb...)

Too bad the Internet doesn't work that way..huh.

Yeah sadly it doesn't work that way.  The thing is I'm not one to bitch and moan aboutpeople having a different opinion from myself. I don't expect everyone in the world to stop eating cheese just because I think it's vile.  The differences are what make us interesting.  But at least I have friends who get it when I say I'm not all that excited about going to Melt in LA or finding the Grilled Cheese Truck in la and we decide on somewhere else to eat.

Amazing how that works.

That's great!
Back in University I had many Jewish friends, and we had to select restaurants that were "Jewish friendly"...they were very religious and didn't eat meat unless it was killed/blessed by a Rabbi. I was cool with that.

In the last few years I have developed many food allergies so there are places I cannot go to eat, and my friends are cool with that and we go to "warped friendly" food places to eat.

I'm OK with the first two, but why the third?  Growing up is overrated.

On behalf of those who refuse to abandon sophomoric amusement, I've posted in an 80s saxophone thread and an 80s nuke thread tonight, so that leaves me with only one more thing for which to vote:

Then what's the sun made out of?

Then what's the sun made out of?
The Sun is a huge, glowing sphere of hot gas. Most of this gas is hydrogen (about 70%) and helium (about 28%). Carbon, nitrogen and oxygen make up 1.5% and the other 0.5% is made up of small amounts of many other elements such as neon, iron, silicon, magnesium and sulfur. The Sun shines because it is burning hydrogen into helium in its extremely hot core. This means that as time goes on, the Sun has less hydrogen and more helium.

XD Mostly because those seemed like the most random series of words to string together. Although, I guess you could associate backgammon with adulthood, but I tend to think of backgammon as... er, well, very-old-age-hood.

Had, rather. It only lasted for one season, sadly. :(

That is a shame, the UK series of QI has 11 series now, and probably recording series 12 right now.

..I must find tickets for it!
