Thanks to a cartilage disease when it was small, this chicken’s body became deformed and it now walks upright.
The rooster’s owner discovered him on a business trip in eastern China and purchased him from his owner, a local farmer, for 10,000 yuan (around £950).
But he says he is donating the three-year-old fowl to the local zoo so others can ‘have a look at this strange chicken’.
The rooster has built himself a small fanbase in his owner’s home city of Jinhua, China, where he wanders the streets, much to the amusement of onlookers.
