I already bought a beard trimmer, some pomade, a space pen, and a bag of chips. My brother bought a lot of stuff for his cat. We've only had it for two days, I can't stop. I love it when I hear that quiet knock on the door. It's like someone sent you a gift, except it's you who sent you that gift. ;D

It depends on the person's stride; that is, distance between successive steps. For me 10,000 steps might amount to between 4 and 5 miles.

plans have changed I wont be getting a raised.  Mom wants a hedge which is fine with me. She wants these boxes that look like they're on the ground for some reason.  Yes there are lots of plants that say they need to be well drained but why she wants to spend hundred s of dollars for boxes on the ground I don't know.  This is all about what she wants.  I'd just like some violets now which will just be annuals in our warm weather, but a little white butterfly was chowing down on it in spring.  Then I want a variety of salvia.  Dave's Garden says Lantana Camera does well in Modesto.  It's probably the only plant stores sell around here that really grows well in Modesto

That's another thing...my work schedule has flexibility. Since I go in two days a week, I can go in on a different day than usual if something comes up. In fact, in a couple months I'm gonna be going on a trip with my family, so I will need to arrange my work schedule as to not miss a day (which I can certainly do).

I know, for some reason it went out in late June and I haven't had time or patience to try to restore it yet.

So maybe I'll go to the library, bring along my headset, and listen to it on a computer there.

I am super, SUPER excited! One of my songs, "Open up your heart", will be getting radio play! It will be played in over 10 countries and over 12 states. This doesn't mean that I'll be famous or anything....well, maybe just a little bit famous!! Lol. But it doesn't really matter to me if I am famous or not. I just want to sing! It's a beautiful, awesome song and singing it meant the world to me. I will definitely post the progress of this and let everyone know how I'm doing. Please wish me the best everyone, I really want this!

Now that I am back in London, things are taking shape to a normal life again.

Just start to go shopping by walking (for exercise), but it felt like rain in the air, so I came home. It will have to be done later on.

It has been clear and no rain since my attempt this morning, I am trying to go out again very soon.

Yesterday, I had four loads, and put it all to dry in one of the rooms that I do not use much.

Might be going to Sacapotatos  possibly get my implant programmed for the first time.  I might get a program to hear the speech in most rock songs and a higher speech in another program.  I'd be surprised  if I'll be able to hear all ranges of sound in one program.

I much rather do laundry in this house than in our old house. The laundry room is next door to where I am sitting now and very close to the bedroom. When we undress at night, we just bring it into the laundry room. And when I do laundry, I can hear when the washer/dryer stops. Doesn't take any time at all. At the other house, I had to drag the clothes down into the basement from our bedroom on the first floor. The office was on the second floor, so I had to go down two flights to change it.

Man, I love my present house!

How convenient!

I have an upstairs laundry room in my house too. I think many two-story houses these days are designed with the laundry room upstairs, which makes sense since that's where the bedrooms usually are.

My house was built in 1865 and didn't even had indoor plumbing when it was built. When we had the renovations done, we had to figure out where to the put the laundry. The previous owner had the dryer in the foyer.  ???  We thought about putting it in the downstairs bathroom but I would still be climbing stairs. The basement was out of the question-TWO flights. But, we had an extra room up here and we were able to do it because it was next to the bathroom and we just stole some of the plumbing. The issue is that the doors to the room are VERY narrow. A full size washer and dryer can't fit through it. They had to bring them in through the window. I dread the day when either one of them die and need to be replaced. I'm sure delivery people won't hoist them up on the roof to the porch to bring them in through the window.

I do wash everything on gentle so it doesn't hurt the molding downstairs.

Another shameless plug.  ;D ;D ;D

For me it brought up a "Top trending songs" thingy over the webpage and I clicked to get out of there (since that was obviously not the desired item). Then I couldn't find the song anywhere.

My heart is on creating a butterfly garden.  I'm waiting to see if I'm ever going to get trained to do anything.  I had to make a mistake that was probably not so great for me in order to get my moms attention.  One of those things where I say something in the past, but everything else is more important then my needs.  I've just been totally sleepy and out of it with my brain the past few days.  I've felt I have zero motivation to do anything.  I think I am tired of doing much hanging around here as well.

it will, but my mom won't let me put any annual seeds in the ground and other stuff so I still kind of have to make sure she approves of what I do.  seems she wants me to have shrubs.  It would be much easier to do annuals since everything in Modesto overheats and dies.  Our spring and summer is just too long in too much heat.

Oh yes, it's very hot in southern California. Above the century mark in some places. 8-P There's a heat advisory and/or warning in various portions of Los Angeles and surrounding areas, and it will be in effect for the next couple of days.

I'm glad the nice weather has come back to the UK as well.  Last weekend was a holiday weekend here and we went to Yorkshire camping for an orienteering event - well several races.  I had a last minute call up to join a relay team on the Monday morning and we won!  Worth the panicked search for running tights and compass.

I start back to work next week - one benefit of working in a school!

I found the people friendly, and surprised how board the accent can be.

We arrive at the Waterfront, near the Liver Building, there was a band playing live, and the song being played was "Paint It, Black" by The Rolling Stones, I ask you, it should have been the Beatles?
