No you don't have to. Just get on the stream and turn off your camera right away (you could block your laptop camera as you're changing the setting too). The icon to turn off your camera should be up top and you can just have your microphone on (which is built in all computers).

Google Chrome has become the standard use of internet and access to websites for most consumers now over Internet Explorer. Been that way for years at this point. You'll be fine. Your webcam doesn't have to be on during the stream, you can turn it off by pressing the icon up top.
