I know there's a thread for NYRs that we made a year ago, but how about a fresh one, for 2019?

I don't often make any myself, but every year I do strive to get more organized, and to budget my time better.

What are some of yours?

I want to save more money.

I don't really have many resolutions so I think I will skip out on them this year because I just don't think I'll be able to keep them.

I just say forget it

Pretty much the ones that I didn't accomplish last year.

-Lose AT LEAST 10 pounds.
-Organize the office, laundry room-including the closet.
-Clean out more of the garage and get rid of more crap stuff.
-Sell the boat.
-Sell the PR house.
-Either sell the other house or rent it out to tenants who PAY RENT!

- Learn Chinese well enough to have conversations with Chinese people when I go to China later this year.

- Get a merit or distinction in my masters degree

I organized them by colour the other day and it was a mistake. I'm going to try putting my favourites on top and least favourites at the bottom. Or maybe organize by formality+season+favourites.

I have this big bag of shirts and I'm waiting to organize them and put them on a clothes shelf so I can make more room to move around.

I feel like this thread should be in the 2010s board for consistency's sake (and it gets more attention there) :P

My resolutions–

* Start keeping a journal in French and write in it weekly, and get native speakers to correct it.
* Vacation in Québec for at least 2 weeks total, this time far away from Montréal (to avoid the English speakers).
* Get a NAS drive and fill it with French TV shows.
* Bike for 1200 km
* Start winter biking this spring and fall/winter 2019 by getting the proper equipment.
* Continue going to the gym...
* Start knitting/crochet.  :-[
* Eat at more ethnic restaurants/try out new cuisines. I'm going to try at least 5 new ones, to put a number on it.

It belongs here because this is personal. The 2010s is about the world.

I do want to take my music further. And I want to eat better, you know less sugar, more fruit and veggies.
